Great location 4 blocks to beach and shopping. Walk to the beach and downtown Venice. Come relax in this charming two bedroom two bath 1st floor condo. This unit accommodates six people with a queen size bed in each bedroom as well as a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. Bed linens and towels are included for your convenience. The main bathroom has a tub/shower combo. The large living area or screened in lanai off the living room are two great places to relax at the end of a long day at the beach. A coffee pot, microwave, dishwasher, and toaster are extra features of the kitchen. For those who like to collect sea shells you will find a shell shovel to use.

While it isn’t the fanciest place to stay, it is pretty perfect. We stayed six weeks and had everything we needed. It is within walking distance to the beach and downtown Venice. It is a very safe area also. We would definitely stay there again!

Wonderful Location

Property was located in a quiet neighborhood a few blocks from the beach and the downtown area. The unit was well equipped with everything you need to enjoy your vacation. The property owner provided all condo information we would need in a clear and timely manner. We would rent here again.

lovely stay

I stayed here for over 5 weeks, and had a 5 star experience. You can't beat the great location- short walk to the beach and shopping. I was here during the off-season, and the island was so quiet- I really loved it. The residents of the surrounding condos were very nice and friendly. The neighborhood is very safe, and great for biking. This condo was a great value and I hope I'm able to stay here again in the future!

Venice Island living

This was a perfect place for my husband and I to stay while searching for our forever home in the Venice area. The condo was well stocked with essentials. We brought our own blender and french press, but I believe there was a drip coffee pot under the cabinet.There are plenty of sheets, blankets, towels and washcloths. The closet space is excellent for storing all your belongings as well as the dressers and bedroom armoires for other items to store your things so that you can keep the home tidy and make it “yours” during your stay. The furniture was comfortable and the decor was perfect to remind us that we were living on the island near a beautiful beach. It is a quiet neighborhood but it is easy to hear your neighbors outside the condo at times. The parking space was convenient and close. Only one space assigned for this unit. The laundry room was clean and was easy access on the ground level. The owner was fantastic to correspond via text or email through the VRBO and responded quickly. He was very helpful during hurricane Ian. He kept us updated so we would know when it was safe to return. It is represented well in the pictures. We would definetely stay again.

Home away from home

This condo was very comfortable and quiet. This is an end unit without stairs. The hurricane of the century for southwest FL came through during our stay and the building withstood the wind. The owner was amazing to communicate with during the storm and afterwards to keep us informed with the condition of the condo and when it was safe to return. The condo itself was comfortable. The beds were comfortable and plenty of fresh linens and towels. The a/c and heat worked well and there was plenty of ambient light from the windows. It was perfect for living the island life. We could have made it a permanent place to call home.

Great location

Not fancy but it was clean and comfortable. Please read the HOA rules carefully and be mindful and respectful of the residents who live there full time. Only one parking spot is available and it is right beside the building to the left. We mainly came in and out through the kitchen door and the push turn lock needs to be wiggled a little before it can be pushed/turned to lock. The stove hood light needs to be turned to the left a little before you push it in to turn the light on. There is a drip in the shower stall so you will need to use maximum torkage to lessen the drip. None of these little things were an issue for us at all. The coffee pot is regular and uses cone shaped filters. There is no blender so you might want to bring your own. There is an abundance of towels and bed linens and plenty of cleaning supplies. Wash day for this condo is on Tuesday and the coin operated machines require $2.50 in quarters to wash and dry each load. There is one beach chair, one boogie board, and a special shovel for finding shells and sharks teeth. We will definitely be back!

Salvation Army Furniture

Great location if you like to shop or play tennis. Near wide boulevards, shopping and beach. Needs updates like new stove(only two burners worked), fridge,bed mattress, doors, screen door had big holes to let bugs in. Broken blinds in one of the bedrooms. Bathrooms had mold in the showers-need a better cleaning service.

Simple life.

The rental's location is perfect. Close enough to walk to beach and enjoy the activities of downtown. Be sure to bring your bicycle, fishing pole and sandals to walk the beach. Life is simple in Venice.

Comfortable Beach Condo, Great location

Spent 3 months in this comfortable condo, on the island in Venice Beach. A few minor issues when we arrived, but the owner responded immediately and corrected everything. Not fancy, but for the price, it was well worth it, just what we expected. The A/C was nice and cold, all the appliances worked, and the beds were comfortable. Ample linens and dishes/kitchenware were provided. The large table was great for meals and building the jigsaw puzzles that we found in the hall closet.The location was great, walked to the beach and walked to downtown shopping area and farmer's market. The shared laundry room was clean and we never had to wait. The neighborhood was very nice, quiet, and the neighbors assured us it was very safe. We enjoyed our summer and hope to come back.

Good location

The advertised amenities were fairly accurate except for the laundry facilities. These were a shared situation with about 20 other occupants and you had to pay for them. It was not always convenient to do our laundry between 10:00 a.m. and noon on Monday morning. We had to contact the owner via email 3 times between May 1 and May 11 requesting our deposit back. We finally received a check from the owner on May 20 (50 days after our stay was completed.)
