Beautiful, spacious, modern, private, 3 bedrooms, 3 bath home on CARTER LAKE in Downtown Omaha. Fast 1 mile to Berkshire Hathaway meeting, Omaha CHI Health Convention Center, College World Series and Charles Schwab Ball Park, Omaha Old Market District, Casinos. Next to Omaha Airport, and Shoreline Golf Course. Large upper deck and covered pation, family room with bar, playroom, large living room with fireplace, formal and casual dining rooms, 3 full baths (one en suite with jacuzzi), full equipped kitchen, 3 bedrooms ( 3 queen beds). Washer/dryer. Quiet cul de sac with off street parking for 3-4 cars..

Guests have total access to the home, and we live in Omaha if help is needed. Large living spaces and privacy for one - three couples or a family to enjoy (bedrooms and baths on upper and lower levels). Convenient amenities and child friendly for a relaxing stay. The location is ideal for easy access to the main attractions and nightlife in Omaha and Council Bluffs. Fast Uber/Lyft service. Large deck and yard space. Canoe and paddle boat available. Ideal if you are looking for a seaside and lake house decor setting in landlocked Nebraska. Each is themed in seaside and woodland decor the upper and lower levels respectively.

We limit total number of overnight guests to 6 please. We do not allow the use of our home for events or entertaining more than 6 outside guests for more than normal social periods. We do not allow the use of our home for large luncheons or dinners.

Please be aware that for security and safety reasons, the exterior only [front entrance and drive and lower patio, backyard and lake front (excluding the deck)] are monitored for activity.

We strive for 24-36 hr lapse between reservations and follow recommended cleaning standards.

Wonderful getaway!!!

This stay was by far the best one yet! Our whole family enjoyed our stay, the hosts were very kind to even shovel the driveway which was an absolute game changer. The location was excellent and very close to downtown.

Family Weekend

We enjoyed the location. Easy drive to all the activities we wanted but still tucked away from the busyness. We appreciated being able to prepare our own meals and the kitchen offered all the appliances, utensils, etc we needed. The deck provided a great place to hang out as a family. Communication was excellent from hosts.

Family vacation

Great mini vacation

We stayed in the area for just a couple of nights, and took the kids (4 and 2) to the zoo and downtown Tacoma. Great house with lots of toys, and the back deck was a great place for dinner, too. Really happy with the stay!

Wonderful home, peaceful and convenient!

Traveled with my family for weekend trip to go to the zoo, and enjoy the old market area. House is wonderful, spacious with all the amenities we could need and more, convenient to downtown and the zoo, just a short drive. Beautiful peaceful neighborhood, house was fantastic, would definitely stay there again!

Perfect home away from home

Great spot for a couple of days overnight in Omaha. Property feels like home as the hosts go overboard to stock the home with everything you need and more. Great fishing off their backyard dock and literally minutes away from downtown Omaha.

Great house!

We had a great visit to Omaha, staying at this house was close to everything. The house was clean and had lots of toys to occupy our kids. We will be back!

Family and football

This was a really nice house, clean, well equipped and the perfect amount of space. We chose it because of the close proximity to our brother’s home. We came to visit and go the Husker game-it was a great long weekend!

Fantastic. My grand girls loved it. They did not want to leave.

True to pictures. They had anything you could need. Very clean and relaxing. We spent a lot on deck watching the grandkids playing. Not far from the Zoo which it is a must to go see. I will recommend to anyone to stay there.

Wonderful place!

We had a wonderful stay! What a lovely home! We enjoyed the view! It was perfect for our family when we had down time too- there was always something to do for all ages! Owners were responsive and great to work! Thanks for sharing this nice place with us!

Perfect getaway location

We had the best time staying at this house with our two young children. The house had everything we needed and more, and the owners were hospitable and easy to work with. Easy access to the zoo, Children’s Museum, and Old Market. We enjoyed Omaha, but the amenities (and toys!) at the house made our vacation a real 10/10. Would certainly stay here again.
