Small families, a group of couples, or several close friends will love this Gulf Highlands condo, featuring easy beach access, perks like a shared pool, and fantastic views from the private balcony.

The hotel is a short walk from the beach, as well as dining at the Sassy Bass Grill and the Kiva Grill. Fort Morgan is nine miles to the west, featuring its own beaches to explore alongside historic fortifications and boardwalks. The nearby Mobile Bay Ferry offers quick access to Dauphin Island. Shops, restaurants, and bars await in Gulf Shores 15 miles east.

Things to know:
Guests will have access to six outdoor pools on the Gulf Shores Plantation grounds plus one indoor pool, and sauna in the Dome Area of Bldg 4.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. It felt like home in this location. The staff was friendly and helpful... especially the time I locked us out lol.... Great communication. Peaceful area. Will definitely be back and will recommend!

Great beach condo

My dad and I stayed here on a fishing trip. Condo was clean and everything worked. Very short walk to pool or beach. Would stay again.

Weekend wedding

Overall the condo was really nice. It’s old and needs some work and updates. The check in and check out was easy and staff was friendly. Great amenities. Close walk to the beach.

Great location to beach but definitely needs work done

The location to the beach and the amenities on the property were good! My kids throughly enjoyed the outdoor pools! The apartment is older and needs updating on several things. It also needs better housekeeping because the cleanliness was not good at all when we arrived. But we addressed our issues with the owner and they were quick to respond and offer assistance though.

Great Location / Particular unit needs attention

Awesome location and property. This particular unit needs serious updating. Furniture worn, kitchen drawers broken, dishes were dirty, window shades broken. Unit was clean but dated furnishings and broken components made us feel it was dirty. Needs only about $5K in improvements and would be an awesome unit as well!

Update needed

The furniture had rips and stains. Apparent water damage to the the cabinets next to the dishwasher, neither tub drained properly (water was ankle deep during showers), separation of baseboards from floors in the bathroom. Cleaning could have been better. There was a melted popsicle with wrapper in the silverware drawer. The balcony had an unassembled table. The grounds of Gulf Shore Plantation could use some attention.

Very Outdated / Old Furniture / Holes

We were very disappointed when we arrived to 1110. Yes, the pictures do match; however, the pictures were most likely taken YEARS AGO when it was first remodeled. Definitely OLD PICTURES. We had 2 holes in the wall, a hole in a lamp shade, holes all over the wicker chair in the master bedroom, Holes on all 3 kitchen stools. The recliner in the living room was broke and had holes (very disgusting)....honestly, it was just in the way! There was no pizza pan, scissors and a few other necessities. When we arrived there was 3 dirty q-tips in the trash can. The beds were absolutely horrible. Even just sitting on the master bed, very loud. The bed frame was almost disconnected from the headboard. The bunk beds were extremely narrow, but were okay for young kids. The 2 bedrooms only had 2 pillows on each bed, a couple extra pillows would have been nice. The shower curtain was brown on the inside. Gross! Let’s put it this way, when we first arrived I walked around and took a lot of pictures of things damaged because I didn’t want the blame for any of it. And there was quite a bit of things broke or with holes. We’ve been to Gulf Shores Plantation 6 years in a row now and this was BY FAR THE WORST ROOM we’ve had and the most expensive condo we’ve rented at Gulf Shores Plantation (of 6 years going). This was the first time booking through Vacasa and will definitely be the last.

Great but with a few hiccups!

Couldn’t get in touch with the manager or anybody to actually reschedule my trip because of the weather. The ceiling fan in the master bedroom made noises. The ceiling fan in the other bedroom was hard to turn on and off. The bed in the master needs an upgrade. The shower in the master bathroom didn’t drain too good and the shower head needs to be upgraded because it’s too low. Other than that, we had a pleasant stay and will probably stay again in the future.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Dirty! No customer service!

Biggest issue was cleanliness, there was none. Dishes dirty put up in the cabinets. Saw several roaches. Remote for TV in livingroom missing. Furniture was inside outside and it was in rough shape some even broken. I called and called and was 9n hold one time for over 45 mins and never spoke to anyone. I saw a man that worked there and was trying to tell him my problems and he said he could not help us, call the owners. (We dont know the owners) Online it said $149 per night. We got two and after they added all their fees it was $552. That's no where near $149 per night.

Beach view not so great

Plantation 1110 could use some attention. We had a good stay. But the place has a couple things that could be updated. But most of all the beach view wasn't the best. I expected more view of the beach and water from the balcony. Couldn't really see the beach. But had an ok view of the water from one side of the balcony. Thanks to you all. You all have been real friendly and kind.

Quick stay

Main pool was closed every day. Room not thoroughly cleaned. Needed vaccummed. Mattresses very bad. Furniture very poor.

Our stay at plantation...

We loved that the staff was so helpful and friendly, it was a peaceful place to stay. I have a son who has cerebral palsy, the location of the pools and the ramp all the way down to beach was a nice thing. I will be back soon.

Great value

It was great for the price. Older, could use some updating but it was very clean which is most important to me. The kitchen lacked some stuff (small or medium skillet for eggs. There was only a giant one. There was only 2 small bowls for cereal, etc) we loved walking the grounds and visiting all the pools. And ate lunch at the sassy bass the first day. It was good, a little overpriced but for the convenience of not having to drive 15 miles into town to eat was worth it. Like I said, it’s a great deal for an affordable vacation.
