Our completely remodeled tropical retreat is located in the highly desirable area of South Kihei, which is renowned for its beautiful beaches and proximity to restaurants and shops. This ground floor condo opens up to a lanai with a tropical garden view – the perfect extension of the living room – and enables convenient access to the pools and beaches.

The condo features a fully-equipped kitchen, décor by local artists, a full-sized washer & dryer in-unit, and beach gear (chairs, towels, boogie board, water straws, cooler) to make your stay relaxing and restorative. Other amenities include high-speed WiFi and a Smart TV with cable. There is a free reserved parking space close to the condo. Relax and restore at our tropical hideaway and see why we think it’s so special!

*Please note that the A/C is in the living area only.* There is a ceiling fan and additional fan available in the bedroom.

Wonderful Stay!

Tom & Karissa's condo could not have been more perfect for our Maui vacation! The location is right across the street from an amazing beach and there are lots of shops and places to eating walking distance. The suite had everything we needed for our stay and we really enjoyed having BBQs available in the complex. We would definitely book again!

Perfection

We have stayed in this condo a few times and as always it is perfect. Everything you could possibly need or want is there from the kitchen to the beach. The bed is the most comfortable ever. It's the best condo unit ever.

A wonderful home away from home

We have stayed here 3 years in a row and we have booked it for a 4th. This time we had issues with the t.v. and found out property managers didn't tell the owners so we did. The owners were very apologetic and we just love this place and don't want to stay anywhere else. It's a clean, beautiful and spacious unit with everything you need for a day at the beach or to chill in the condo. Thank you Tom & Karissa we appreciate you Much Aloha and Mahalo

Ideal location

Great stay! Karissa & Tom were always so quick to respond and pleasant to speak to. The condo was in the perfect spot, never getting too hot with the breeze coming through. The 90 second trip to the beach didn't hurt and with so many shops, restaurants and stores around you don't really need a car if you don't want it. We just loved sitting on the lanai with a cocktail after a hard day at the beach (but chairs could use some new cushions). It was just the most relaxing and tranquil trip. Thank you for sharing your home with us. Will definitely return!

One of the Best

We have been renting C217 Kihei Akahi for several years now and enjoy it so much. The unit is easily accessible and always clean. Plenty of dishes and cook ware, bedding, linens and beach equipment. The owners have been improving the unit over the years with a new bed, bedroom furniture, taller toilet (for us seniors), new plank flooring and appliances. The ground level lanai is ideal for relaxing and for access to a car, restaurants, beach and shopping. The Kamaole beaches are some of the best on the island.

Great location

Overall, great location and property. It had everything we needed. We didn't visit anywhere in the resort outside the condo. The supplied beach items were great to have available, although we only used the chairs. The appliances need an upgrade, the stove had a broken knob, making a front burner unusable, fridge was extremely loud and ran a lot, dishwasher wasn't great, as a lot of the dishes in the cupboard had stuck on food. The washer and dryer were great though, we did a load of laundry, so that reduced our packing! The location was the best part, right across from the beach, restaurants nearby, and quick drive to all activities.

Short stay in Maui - Kihei

The property is located in a local beach area which is less resorty than other parts of Maui. It is easy to walk (5 mins) to restaurants, cafes and small supermarkets. The beach is 2 mins walk and is small, protected and lovely - everyone seems to gather to watch the sunset. The property is clean, comfortable (soft bed and comfy couch), has Netflix and a good shower - all the amenities work and are good quality. There is a small table outside and its nice to eat there and look out over the lush gardens. The bedroom has a ceiling fan and a pedestal fan but no aircon - we were there when it wasn’t hot and it was fine but it may be a little warm in summer. I can recommend this place as a great place to stay.

Great place- awesome location

Very nice condo located on the 1st floor. What we liked best was the 2min walk to the beach. It was also very convenient to great restaurants and shops (all walkable). You have to try the 808 deli. Tom and Karissa's place also had all the beach toys needed. Chairs, cooler and umbrella that came in handy every day. There were boogie boards, and paddle ball games to. Would definitely stay here again mostly for the location and toys. The unit was great and Karissa did check in with us upon arrival to make sure everything was ok. Ps, there are so many vrbo's in Kihei it's hard to know if your picking the right one. I looked at some of the other places we were considering while we were there and I am so glad I picked this place.

Great place in great location!

The condo was spotless upon arriving. The kitchen is well appointed with everything you need. It was very clean and we didn’t see one bug inside which was amazing considering it can be an issue in Hawaii. The linens were plush, the bed was very comfortable. Seemed like the condo had been recently updated and it showed. The condo is across the street from Kam II which is a great low-key beach. The condo has all you need for the beach including chairs, mats, cooler and boogie boards. The beach is perfect for stand up paddle boarding in the morning when the water is calm. Waves pick up in the afternoon for boogie boarding. I really liked being on the ground floor as well. No view but you are never in your condo very long anyway. It was nice to be able to enter and exit from the lanai because is saved time of having to walk all the way around the building to get to your car or the pool. Plus, it was nice to have the lanai that opened to the lawn. The grounds at the condo were immaculate and beautiful as well. I would highly recommend this condo and would definitely stay there again!

Anniversary trip

Great location! Beach 5 minute walk away, restaurants and shops within walking distance. Everything you need for a perfect beach day there for you, couple of chairs, umbrella, cooler.... perfect. Would love to go back again someday.

Our Awesome Stay in Paradise 🌴🐢

A couple issues with property were the lack of AC in the bedroom and bed is extremely soft which could be a good point for some however for myself not so good. We have always stayed at another property in Kihei and decided to try something different on our latest trip to paradise and the property did not disappoint!

We’re so glad you enjoyed the property! For others reading this, we designed the bed with a firm mattress and a foam topper, with the goal of providing the right balance of support and comfort. Many guests have positively reviewed the bed, but we’re sorry it wasn’t the best for you. As for the a/c, we have a new a/c in the living area and find that the ceiling fans and trade winds are sufficient to keep cool at night. Thanks for your review!

Great place to stay in Kihei

We had a fantastic stay. Everything was so nice, location was a short walk to a great beach and a beautiful garden next to the patio. The kitchen had everything we needed. It was quiet and felt safe -- very enjoyable and relaxing.

Nice, clean condo

We had a positive experience renting this property for our first visit to Maui. We wanted to stay somewhere centrally located so we could explore many different parts of the island. The location was great, and the check in process was very easy. The condo itself was very clean and spacious and had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend!

Great spot

We had a great stay here! The location was perfect for everything we wanted to do. Close to plenty of restaurants and coffee shops and the beach is right across the street! Check in was super easy and the management/owners are easy to work with and very organized!

Great condo

Beautiful, well-equipped condo. Beach gear in the bedroom closet, including chairs, boogie boards and snorkle gear was a great extra touch. Perfect location in South Kihei a 3 minute walk to the Kamaole 2 beach. Patio door only a 15 second walk from the parking spot. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful Kihei condominium

The condominium is beautifully decorated, comfortable and equipped. We were easily able to cook meals there when we wanted.The complex is off the road and is very quiet, but close enough that it is easy to walk to the beach and enjoy the ocean or watch the sun set. The bed is very comfortable and the fans were all we needed to keep cool. There is an airconditioner in the living room which we didn't have to use. The washer and dryer were great and easy to use. Kihei is a good location to drive to other parts of the island. there are many shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. Kihei Road can get a little busy at times. The condo has everything you need to spend a day at the beach. We would definitely come again.

Everything you need in the perfect location

This was our second stay in this same location. It is the perfect distance from the beach, clean, comfy bed, chairs, umbrellas and boogie boards to use at the beach, and fantastic owners who respond to my texts every time. I have recommended this place to any friends traveling to Maui.
