Lakefront Cabin on Pike Lake Chain w/Sunset View - ATV/Snowmobile Flambeau Trail

Newer four season "A" frame cabin with a sunset view located on beautiful Round Lake of the Pike Lake Chain and Chequamegon National Forest. Cabin is roughly 25 miles west of Minocqua. Access to ATV (Flambeau & Tuscobia Trail) and snowmobile (Price County) trails, this newly built lakeside cabin has four bedrooms, two bathrooms and can comfortably sleep 10 people. Each bedroom is furnished with a king size memory foam mattress, nightstands, closet organizers, and bedding. Additionally, there is a queen size futon as well in the loft as well. You will need to bring our own towels and toiletries. The cabin has central A/C and gas fireplace. 

The fully stocked kitchen comes with plates, glasses, silverware, pots and pans, coffeemaker (single cup and full pot), and toaster. Our new GE Profile appliances provide a gas range for air frying, convection microwave and a large french door refrigerator. The outdoor patio allows for further cooking and entertaining with a Weber gas grill, Green Egg for smoking or charcoal flavor, and a Camp Chef propane griddle/flat top grill. PLEASE NOTE...we provide propane, but charcoal for the Green Egg isn't provided. Other amenities include new washer & dryer, YouTube TV (65" LG Smart TV), and Starlink Wi-Fi.

Take a break from the hustle and bustle by enjoying breakfast, lunch, dinner, or cocktails on a private deck overlooking beautiful Round Lake listening to the loons and keeping an eye open for foxes, deer and eagles. Enjoy a cup of coffee on the dock while you gear up to spend the day on your boat or fishing. The Pike Lake chain has five lakes (2,012 acres) with two bar/restaurants on the water with gas & bait and there are numerous sandy points for children to swim at. We also provide three kayaks and a large swim pad.

A slip is provided at the private dock along with power to plug in boat batteries. All fish need to be cleaned in the fish house. 

Don’t feel like boating; ATV/snowmobile trails, shopping, gambling, hiking, golfing, biking and other Northwoods activities are nearby.

At the end of the day, sit back, kick your feet up, watch the picture-perfect sunset, roast marshmallows over the fire pit (firewood provided) and relish the moment at this wonderful cabin in the woods.

Wonderful place and perfect for our large family gathering. Even better with being able to have his second cabin immediately adjacent.Mark was always in touch and helpful. The setup of the house, kitchen, dining room, patio and fire pit provides all kinds of opportunities for separate gatherings and great intermingling.The no provided towels, although well announced, was a hassle particularly for those flying in.Overall a great place, spectacular sunsets, excellent facility and a memorable place for a family gathering.

Fantastic location

On the edge of the Chaquamegon-Nicolet National Forest, this lakehouse offers a beautiful view of Round Lake. We enjoyed fishing off the dock and paddling our canoe. We appreciated that there was plenty of firewood, and we made use of both the gas grill and the griddle. Looking forward to our next stay!

The place was perfect for our group 6 adults and 2 children. We were able to spend time together enjoying being on the water, camp fires, games, and family meals in a beautiful setting. The cabin was spacious and resembled the pictures and description on the site. The host was attentive and informative both prior and on arrival. We are already planning for next year!!

Cabin on the lake

Really nice spot on the lake

Very nice and clean cabin, comfy chairs and beds. The location on the lake was very quiet and also very dark, making for a great view of the stars at night.

Enjoyed our stay!

Cute little cabin overlooking a beautiful lake. The dock area was set up really nicely for fishing. The owner was very responsive and accommodating- even lent us his kayaks (we didn’t get to use because of weather). Would stay here again!

Perfect for our annual family get together

Our family normally goes to a different cabin every year for our annual get together but this property was perfect for us and we will be going back next year. Every bedroom had comfy king beds, the kitchen had pretty much anything you needed and there was plenty of space for everyone. Definitely the best we have stayed at in our 10 plus years of doing this.

Annual family get together

This is the second year in a row we've stayed here. Normally we pick a new place every year but loved this one so much we stayed again. It was a perfect fit for all of us especially since everyone got their own king bed which is so nice. This property is well taken care of and has everything you need for a wonderful stay.

Beautiful cabin

I would recommend this cabin. It is beautiful and everyone enjoyed the lake. The lake doesn't seem as busy as Minocqua which is a good thing. Our little ones tubed for the first time without alot of boat traffic.

Wonderful Vacation Home

The house and our stay exceeded our expectations! The host went out of his way to make sure we had a great time, offering tips on the lake area and restaurants. The cabin was very clean and was well stocked with anything we might have needed. The 4 bedrms each had nice king size beds so no one had to “settle” for less. We really enjoyed it and would love to come back again.

Peaceful Getaway

Beautiful property inside and out. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The views are amazing and the area is very quiet and peaceful. The cabin has everything you could need and more. We appreciated having the fish cleaning house as well. Mark was super helpful to answer any questions we had and he went out of the way to make sure we had everything we needed to make the stay perfect. Would highly recommend this property!

Amazing Stay!

This is an excellent place to stay and we had an amazing time! The house is brand new, clean and tastefully decorated. The area is beautiful with amazing sunsets you can see right from the house. Owner was very responsive, friendly, and helpful. I really can't say enough good things about this place! Everything was so perfect! Annual Family Vacation

Wow! I am an experienced traveler- and this cabin is exceptionally maintained, cleaned and organized. The cabin contact, Mark, was pleasant and went above and beyond to ensure your trip was everything you want it to be. I love that the firewood is supplied! We had 9 people and made so many memories. Couldn’t be happier with our stay at Mark’s cabin. As soon as we walked in we noticed how clean it looked and smelled. They obviously take pride in their rental. The bedrooms were a good size and the mattresses were comfy. Having three young children with us, we appreciated the blackout curtains, the kids cutlery and bowls and the booster seats in the mudroom closet. The bedrooms were large enough to have a pack and play next to the bed. The kitchen was very well stocked with all the equipment you could need for preparing meals. It was the best stocked kitchen I’ve ever seen in a rental. The fire pit outside was large and we liked that they had dry firewood available. We enjoyed a roaring fire under the stars and pine trees. The grills were clean and we liked that there were three types to choose from. The showers had good water pressure and temperature. The driveway was great for us with two trucks and two trailers hauling UTVs. I can’t say enough good things. We’re already talking about renting both of their cabins next summer and making it a yearly tradition. Thanks for the relaxing, tranquil and comfy accommodations!

Beautiful house on a small lake chain

The house is exactly as described and shown in the pictures. Very clean. Wonderful new foam mattresses. Kitchen is well stocked with everything you could want; crocks, blenders, a grill and griddle outside … this house has it all! Mark was great to work with and answered questions right away. I whole heartedly recommend this place! We reserved again for next year within 24 hrs of staying there!

Beautiful and quiet!

Gorgeous home, simply gorgeous! Everything was clean, the bedrooms all have king size beds that were so comfortable. The kitchen is fully stocked with plenty of pots, pans and everything you might need to enjoy a meal with your group. Go to the grocery store first - it is about 20 mins away and you will not want to leave. The only suggestion would be to add some table lamps into the bedrooms. The lake is quiet, can't express that enough - it is so peaceful and quiet. We did rent a pontoon boat and loved that experience. The owner is easy to contact and very informative. I can't wait to stay here again!

As Good as it Gets

This is the best place that our family has stayed in Northern Wisconsin. We are three adult couples, a five year old, and a 2 month old. The four bedrooms accommodated us well. Everything was clean. The kitchen/ family room area is spacious and the windows overlook the lake. Great sunsets. There is a separate dining room. Great stock of kitchen items. Nice to have a washer and dryer. We could have packed less. Outside patio area had tables and chairs and several grills. The fish house is placed between the two houses and provided privacy. Short walk down a few stairs to the lake. Steps to get to the lake. Shallow area from shore to end of dock. Great depth for kids. Hosts provide a floating mat and kayaks/paddle board. We rented a 25 ft pontoon boat and the dock accommodated. Several nights we caught fish off the end of the dock. Round Lake is on a four lake chain. Host was always responsive via phone and text. I would highly recommend.

Great Stay

The Buchko cabin is everything that it was advertised as. Being brand new, it was in first class condition and had the true northwoods feel. The view of the lake from the living room and patio is as good as it gets. Outside, the dock is a great convenience for those that have a boat. The fishing was average. Not great, but not terrible. The access to multiple lakes is nice and you have options. If you want to waterski or tube, this is a great place. The back patio is awesome with lots of seating, a nice big gas grill and flat top griddle. Inside, it is outstanding. 4 bedrooms all with King beds and another futon that pulls out in the loft makes for plenty of sleeping space. The kitchen is top notch with everything you need and the appliances are top of the line. A big table that seats 10 was nice for the whole family to sit around. The living area was comfortable and the big tv was an added bonus - especially with direct tv service. Overall, this was a great experience for our family and I would highly recommend this cabin. The only drawback is that if you want to swim, the only access to the water is to climb down the ladder on the dock. But that is minor. And, the mosquitos were terrible, but there is little that can be done about them.

A Little History

Welcome! We hope you enjoy your stay at Round Lake.
For over 40 years our family has been coming to Round Lake. This property was once part of Musky Haven resort owned by the Anderson family. The Andersons still own the lakefront properties to the north of us.
In 2008, we were fortunate enough to be able to purchase a property with two of the original Husky Haven cabins—Take It Ezy and Du Kum In. We enjoyed the cabins for over a decade and shared the cabins with other long-time Musky Haven renters.
In 2020, we decided it was time for our growing family—15 and counting—to build new cabins so our next generation will be able to enjoy another 40 years of good times at Round Lake.
For those of you who rented the previous cabins, you may recognize some old friends like the orange windows, the chairs in the bedrooms, etc. For those of you who are new to the cabin, please know that everything hanging on the walls, sitting above the kitchen cabinets, or scattered throughout the cabin has a long history or connection with Round Lake.
