From the owner:"Hello, I’m so glad you loved our home. We appreciate it. We worked very hard to make this place gorgeous for everybody. We do list in the instructions that we do not provide outdoor seating. We’ve tried this several times in the past and unfortunately guests destroyed them and I have replaced them twice so now we ask that customers bring their own seats for outside"

We followed up with the homeowner, who shared the following:-We’re sorry the cleanliness did not meet expectations. New cleaning staff have been brought on, and while we offered to have them return, the offer was declined. It also appears that some storage areas not intended for guest use may have been accessed during the stay. -Regarding trash disposal, there is a designated shed at the rear of the property, and instructions are included in the pre-arrival email. It seems this communication may have been missed in this instance.We’re committed to delivering a great guest experience, as reflected in the consistent positive feedback we receive.

We followed up with the owner, who would like to address the following:- We sincerely apologize for the cleanliness issues you experienced. Our long-time cleaning and maintenance team of 15 years tragically passed away in a lightning-related fire, and we’ve been relying on temporary support while we search for a permanent, reliable replacement. We appreciate your patience during this transition.- We’ve noted your comments about the dock, swim platform, and parking, and will review each to improve the guest experience moving forward. - Regarding the window coverings, all have recently been replaced with wood blinds, as the previous ones were damaged by guests.Thank you again for your feedback; it truly helps us make continued improvements.

David, we're sorry to hear that certain aspects of your stay fell short of your expectations. The cleaning company had left the cabin a few hours before your arrival and had properly serviced the home. We understand that upon reaching out to the owner to report your concerns, he offered to have the cleaning company come back to the property immediately to go over any areas that did not meet your expectations but you denied this offer. The cabin has a very large driveway that can easily fit two trailers. The owner prioritizes every guest experience and went to generous measures to make things right and did all he could to accommodate you during your stay.
