I love Villa Encantada, try it!

This place is beautifully furnished, staffed, and maintained on a location with gorgeous views and close to everything Puerto Vallarta has to offer. It was the perfect place to celebrate my 70th birthday with both family and friends and to accomodate all with plenty of space.

Beautiful House

Nice stay. Plenty of room. You will need to uber or taxi if you have little ones. It is a steep incline walking back up and if out late, it is dark. Overall, beautiful views and very responsive host.

The property and friendly staff exceeded our expectations! We had a wonderful time even though a hurricane hit while we were there. We were very lucky with the location of the Villa being high up. We would definitely return!

Incredible Experience Stay

We were apprehensive about the dated photos on the listing, wondering if the place would be underwhelming. It blew us away. From flexible check-in, to the curated service from the team led by Rene. He gave 5 star service that made it a better experience than any hotel can provide. The housekeeping also was a huge plus, usually a drawback with vacation rentals. This was also one of the few locations in all of central PV that had a jacuzzi which we utilized numerous times a day. The meal service made our logistics so much easier. I would most definitely come back and stay here.

Family Vacation

Our group of 10 enjoyed an amazing vacation at this property. The house proved to be ideal for our small grandchildren, children and ourselves. Walter, Rene and Isabel provided excellent care, ensuring our needs were met with exceptional attention. The culinary experience was outstanding, and we wholeheartedly recommend this property for a memorable getaway.

The house is very beautiful, it is located in a very nice quiet area and the views are great! The staff are also very nice, helpful and outgoing. Chef Diablo is the best, his food is absolutely delicious and Rene is super nice and helpful. They both helped with decorating the home for our trip and always asked if we needed anything. The host, Paul, is also very nice and easy to reach him at any time. Our housekeeper was great as well, she cleaned our rooms daily and refreshed our towels which was great. Just overall amazing! 10/10 would recommend and will be returning in the future. Thank you Paul, Chef Diablo, Rene and our housekeeper I think is Isabel.

Lovely Stay

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. The communication and check in was seamless. The photos of the home are accurate and the house manager, Rene, was incredibly kind and helpful. We all enjoyed Walterā€™s delicious meals and his friendly demeanor. The house was also clean. People should know that it is in a steep hill. However, the location is great and Ubers or taxis are quick and inexpensive.

This is a gorgeous house that is absolutely as lovely as it appears in the pictures. We left the doors open to the living room and kitchen which was lovely and every room has AC that works great for being able to sleep in the cool. The food is delicious - Walter is a fantastic cook and we ate deliciously all weekend. This is a great home to relax and enjoy time with your friends. Only thing to be aware of - the guys are Very encouraging of guests having Tequila shots. If you're not interested in that you need to state that clearly and repeatedly and be clear that you're not joking.

Above and beyond

I booked this property for my bachelorette party with 10 other women and it greatly exceeded my expectations. Communication with Paul beforehand was so seamless. He was readily available and went out of his way to help. I had a few minor requests beforehand and he was able to help me out with no issues. The staff at the house are lovely. We all looked forward to breakfast everyday. The dinner we had was fabulous and the fish was incredible. They catered to my food allergies with no issues. The villa is beautiful, clean, and while it's not right in town or on the beach, it's a quick cab ride away. I am so happy I picked this villa for such an important weekend. I will definitely be back and I will recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing weekend.

You can't beat Villa Encantada

You are going to be hard pressed to find a better place to stay than this in PV. Rene, Walter, and Isabel were beyond amazing, the location was perfectly located near the beach and town but far enough away to feel separated and private. The home is beautifully decorated, clean, and welcoming. The staff and property owner were attentive to our needs and made sure the house was always fully stocked with whatever we asked for. My friends and I were there for a birthday trip. Walter and Rene put on an AMAZING birthday surprise with a cake, piƱata, drinks, and music. There is nothing else to say besides we will never stay anywhere else in PV besides Villa Encantada! Recommendations when you stay: 1. Rene's margaritas 2. Walter's nachos 3. Blue Chair beach area for massages on the beach and fantastic drinks 4. Shopping for interesting and unique gifts at Safari Accents 5. Dinner at The Blue Shrimp

Overall our stay was great. Renee and staff were outstanding. The accommodations were great for what we needed. I did see tiny bugs in the kitchen on the counters. not sure what they were. They weren't ants. They were much smaller. I assume that with the open air situation this is normal. One thing to be careful of is that the website doesn't match the email attachments you will receive when trying to budget for food for meals. In my opinion it should all be consistent. If I receive an attachment in the welcome email that is what I look at. I won't go to the website for the vrbo. We were caught off guard by the difference in cost of the food that was suggested to budget for. Just a tip. For those that aren't worried about budgeting it's not a big deal but it was a huge difference for us. Otherwise, we were happy with our stay and the staff was incredible.

Where to begin? Pictures nor words can describe how amazing and enjoyable our stay was in PV. We had a group of 11, ranging in ages from 3-50 and EVERYONE was over the moon. Staff was definitely what made our stay extra spew. Diablo, Rene and Isabella are Villa Encantadaā€™s little secrete ingredient to the best most relaxing vacation. Food was to die for, we didnā€™t really want to go out to eat as Diablos food was better than any restaurant- and this is coming from the entire group, in which native raised Mexican women also agreed! If your like us and have a couple picky eaters, not to worry they make sure everyone has something yummy to eat. I love that even my picky eaters were trying so many new foods with excitement. Rene was always on top of making sure we ALL had everything we needed and wanted and had plenty recommendations. Isabel was so quiet and quick, but her work definitely didnā€™t go unnoticed-she had all the rooms cleaned in the time we ate breakfast! Their dynamic was amazing, they kept us laughing and smiling. This was my third visit to PV and by far the best and most memorable. The board walk is very close as well as beautiful beaches! This property has it all, do yourself a favor and book it for an amazing visit-any occasion this fits the bill year round. Canā€™t wait to visit again, itā€™s going to be hard to top this experience.

25 year Anniversary celebration

My husband and I decided to do a week vacation with our family and found this beautiful house! We were a group of 12 and everyone fit comfortably. The staff was amazing! Walter, the chef, was so attentive to our requests, and the food was so delicious!! He and Rene make a great team and made sure we were all having a great time! Again, super attentive. Isabel, the housekeeper did a great job also! The house is very close to town so getting around is super easy. Walter and Rene will have the taxis at the house in a flash. Wonderful memories were made and we for sure will be back soon! Thank you to Walter, Rene and Isabel for all their hard work that made our vacation celebration so fun and memorable! Great Experience for families with little ones!

Our stay at Villa Encantada truly surpassed all of our expectations. The property was immaculate, but it was truly the staff that made our trip so incredible! We were traveling with 2 little ones (age 1 and age 2), and it felt as if we had an extra set of hands the entire time! Walter ensured our kiddos never missed a meal (Iā€™ve never seen my son try so many new foods!) Rene went out of his way to make sure we had all the luxuryā€™s of home for both ourselves, but most importantly our little ones and Isabel gave the momā€™s the week off from the 10ā€™s of loads of laundry we usually have to do! We left feeling like we had gained some new family members with this bunch! Thank you so much Paul and Lynn for hosting us and for Walter, Rene and Isabel for making us feel so at home! We loved the spacious environment. WiFi weak but the views, food, security and restrooms in every room made this Villa a perfect vacation get away! Walter (Chef) was so sweet, kind and made the most delicious food. His vibe was top-notch! Rene (houseman) was so attentive and gracious, everyone loved when he was around. He kept the energy light and carefree. They make some great margaritas!! We didnā€™t see Isabel much but her job did not go unnoticed! Thank you to everyone for such a hospitable time. You all make our family vacation one to remember and we hope to come back in the future!

THE BEST!

Myself and 6 of my best friends stayed here for my bachelorette party and we could not have been happier with this house but most of all, the staff! I would give 10 stars if I could. Walter is the chef and he is phenomenal. His food is even better than what you would get at a restaurant. I HIGHLY recommend having him make you the garlic shrimp and risotto. He was also so fun and friendly and was constantly cracking jokes with us girls, it was so great having him around and I truly miss him already. Rene was so kind and professional and was ready to greet and help us with our luggage the second we arrived to the house. He also made sure everything in the house was to our liking and was always making sure we had a fresh drink in hand at all times. He also set the table beautifully for every meal and got a fan out for us whenever we were eating outside. The pool was fantastic and we pretty much lived in it while we were at the house. The temp was perfect and it's a great size pool. Also great jacuzzi! Overall i would give villa encantada an A+++! The staff truly makes it an unforgettable experience and I will definitely be coming back here for years to come!

Excellent Stay

We had a wonderful time at Villa Encantada with 3 generations of my family including 6 adults and 5 kids ages 4-10. What makes this place extra special is the staff. Rene goes out of his way to make sure every thing is taken care of for you. He set up the outside table for meals in a way that made it feel like we were at a fancy restaurant at every meal, even setting up fans around the table to keep it cool. He and Walter made sure that the kids had something that they liked as well. Walter is an amazing chef and we looked forward to his meals every day. We had him show us how he prepared some of the meals so that we could try them at home. His empanadas and Mahi Mahi kabobs were especially amazing and worth a shout out. We never even really went out to eat except for drinks and appetizers during lunch when we were out and about. The kids basically lived in the pool the whole time we were at the villa. The bedrooms were large and comfortable. AC worked great in bedrooms (which we have noticed in the past can sometimes be an issue in PV during the summer.) The only negative I could even mention is that the mosquitos and no see ums were pretty bad here during the rainy season. There was insect repellent at the villa and we brought our own so as long as long as you were sprayed it wasn't a problem. Overall an amazing experience and you feel very spoiled here!

Fabulous trip

We chose puerto Vallarta because it was relatively easy to get there for all of us. Our choice of this property was genius! The house was beautiful and exactly (and ) more than we expected. Walter, the chef, created fabulous meals. If you stay there plan to EAT. Rene, the concierge was thoughtful and kind. The best. Paul, the property manager was extremely helpful and patient. Our family is a circle of chaos and confusion and Paul saw us though some of that with kindness and skill We loved it and would highly recommend this property.

we had the best time at the villa encantada with the most amazing staff ever. we were a group of 10 friends staying here and the staff really made this trip amazing. they were so accommodating and the chef was amazing. Rene helped us coordinate activities, transportation, etc! i will definitely be back to stay here again.

Great trip

The property was wonderful with a great layout and comfortably furnished. What really made this trip outstanding was the staff on site all of whom made the experience unforgettable. If you are planning to take a trip to Puerto Vallarta then do yourself a favor and stay here! We could not have asked for a better experience!

idea of building a custom luxury villa in Puerto Vallarta that incorporated many of the things that we had found lacking in properties we had previously rented for our family over the years. We also wanted to assemble a top notch staff that would make guests truly feel at home! It was quite a journey, but Villa Encantada and staff are the result of those efforts!
