Gorgeous Villa/Condo 4 bedrooms/ 4 baths located on the most desirable swimming beach in Puerto Vallarta. Spacious 2200 sq. ft , located 8.5km.south of town in the exclusive Conchas Chinas area with stunning views of city and right on the sand with swimming/waterfall pool. Private pool side restaurant for our 22 unit complex. Open 7 days a week 9 to 5. Kitchen staff serves you in the condo , pool side or on the beach. The food is wonderful and inexpensive. Nearby there is also seaside thatched roof restaurant and small grocery store just 2 buildings north of us with beautiful views. All who have stayed here have raved and wish to return year after year. Beautifully furnished, daily maid service included.

Another wonderful stay

This is our second year in a row staying at Mary's place. We had another great time and Mary is always responsive and helpful. We look forward to staying here again in the future.

Great condo nice and quiet

Great beach and owner is great to communicate with. The resort food was good and inexpensive. Only down side is if you like to go into town alot you will spend 20 to 30 dollars every time you go and about 25 minutes in a taxi

Truly lovely PV location

If you are looking for a condo layout that affords a blend of togetherness and privacy for your group and/or family in a safe, relatively quieter part of PV, this is a great spot. We saw whales daily, rays jumping out of the water, enjoyed the swimmable beach, and took advantage of the option to cook for ourselves or get food served poolside. 15 min drive south of Zona Romantica with easy access to bus or taxis if you don't want to rent a car. Each bedroom has its own bathroom.

Family vacation

The condo and its host are great. The unit is well appointed and very comfortable. Everything we needed was there. We loved relaxing on the big balcony looking out over the ocean. The pool is great as is the beach (when waves were small enough to swim / more time of year and weather than anything). It is far enough away from the hustle and bustle of PV but still close enough for trips in We would recommend for families. Thanks Mary we had a wonderful week.

Great condo

Spent a great week in this condo with my husband, our 2 teens, and my mom. The views from the living room and master bedroom are amazing. The sound of crashing waves lulled us to sleep each night. The condo is not far from a bus stop, so we took the bus into PV every day which was way cheaper than a taxi. Mary was very responsive and a great host. Definitely hope to be back again.

Beautiful views and friendly staff!

The owner Mary is extremely easy to communicate with and so nice! Thank you Mary for sharing your piece of paradise! We had a wonderful time! The condo is beautiful and comfortable. The staff couldn't be nicer. The daily maid service was a wonderful! Christina and her staff were excellent! Adrian was so friendly and kept the pool area clean and attractive! Everything was wonderful! Thank you again!

Beautiful Beach

We enjoyed our stay at Mary’s property this past week. The beach is beyond amazing and fun to play around in all day long. Mary was great to deal with very helpful and thorough. The restaurant in the building was good but definitely on Mexico time;) Only comments about the apartment was there was no hand soap in any of the bathrooms and some of the kitchen items could use updating. Thanks

Beautiful & relaxing condo

We loved our one week stay at Mary’s condo at Las Peñas. The condo itself was well appointed. The views were amazing. We loved having access to a kid friendly pool and a less busy beach. We even snorkeled off the beach a couple of times. Also nice to have simple, convenient meals we could order at the condos such as breakfast and lunch. The location was ideal, with easy access to local buses to go north to PV and south to Mismaloya and Boca. Mary was helpful with her communication, and staff at Las Peñas were also very helpful, including Francisco and Marimar. I would highly recommend this condo.

Secluded getaway

The condo was very spacious and the terrace had a great view. The beach was nice and the snorkeling was fantastic! Clear water. Just a few things to note, there isn’t very many options for eating nearby, but easy enough to get to town. One of the AC units didn’t work very well in the queen bedroom, but the maintenance man was very friendly and kept trying to fix it. The restaurant didn’t have any juice for breakfast at 9:30am. Overall a wonderful place if you want to escape the crowds.

Beautiful property

The proplerty and stay at Las penas was fabulous. Mary the owner is available and easy to communicate with. I loved the cleanliness and privacy of the beach. The only "considerations" is that the property is quite far from the central PV area and the traffic makes it a very long drive. It was Christmas time so that may have been why traffic was so bad but keep this in mind if you want to get into town quickly. I actually loved being away from all noise and enjoyed our tranquil environment but my adult children felt the drive was a bit long to get into town. The master bedroom was a tranquil retreat and I loved hearing the waves crash at night while I slept. I would definitely stay here again.

Best relaxing breathtaking views

We usually stay at an all-inclusive resort...this time I decided my friends and I needed to try something new. Mary owner was very sweet when booking villa. When we arrived the staff was awesome. Very welcoming and sweet. Cristina best housekeeper doing extra chores around the villa. Nacho awesome bar-server was always there for anything we needed. It just felt like home away from home. The villa had everything we needed. The taxi rides to and from the villa into town were always a blast. Justina our cook always rocked our daily meals. We got to meet and make new friends staying there and even had dinner and drinks together. I think the best place so far I’ve stayed in Puerto Vallarta. Highly recommend this villa you will not wanna leave. Thank you for our wonderful stay. Until next :)

Beautiful Views

The property was clean, and the view were spectacular. The staff was very nice, but communication was somewhat difficult as most of the staff does not speak much English and lord knows we don't speak any Spanish. Snorkeled in the ocean next to the condo. Saw a lot of fish and a turtle, but the water clarity wasn't great. The biggest problem was to get in and out of the water as the waves on this beach could be a significant challenge. The property is generally 15 minutes out of town, but taxis were always available at the hotel next door and downtown to get back to the condo. Enjoyed our stay, but next time we will probably try closer to town where we ate all of our dinners and travel got a little old for us considering we had friends in Neuvo Vallarta.

Condo rules

Condo was not ready 2hr wait, even tho owner Mary gave us permission of an earlier check in. No condo rules given. constant battle with other condo owners about condo rules. No much selection of drinks and food within condo. No tv service. 20min drive to el centro. No restaurant or stores near by. Condo does have a beautiful view we saw the whales from our condo. Beach was amazing very soft sand. Room cleaning on the daily. Recommended condo for age 70+.

Not at all in the location advertised.

Location was stated as being 16 min walk to the beach our friends were staying at. Actually it was a minimum of a 20 min Uber ride. Add also said 3 min to La Palapa restaurant. It was nearly a 30 min drive. Contacted owner. She blamed VRBO. Called Vrbo and it was obvious she had copied and pasted another locations add. Was offered full refund and ability to stay the one night for free as another condo we found was not available into the following day. Just got home from our trip and have only received refund for one night. Owner no longer answers phone or returns calls. Reported fraud to our credit card company and am dealing with Vrbo to take action on this confused individual owner. DO NOT TRUST OR BOOK USING THE INFORMATION ON THE DESCRIPTION.

Highly Recommend This Beautiful Condo!

Condo owner Mary is very easy to work with in any of the booking or other issues that might come up. We couldn’t figure out how to operate the oven. (You have to set the timer or the oven goes off.) The master has a beautiful view of ocean and other rooms are nice but don't have views. The place is really spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony, hearing the waves at night, and even saw whales fairly close several times. Cristina was a great housekeeper and asked if we wanted her to clean in the AM or PM. She also asked when she arrived if it was ok to clean. Nacho was at the pool to take our order which we could eat there or have delivered to our room. Uber rides were available to-from town but you never know about the drivers. Generally they drive too fast and seem a little reckless in our opinion. Taxis cost almost twice as much but seem to drive safer. The ride to town is about 10 minute Uber-taxi or 15 minute bus ride to old town. It really helps to speak a little Spanish so you can communicate better with condo staff and Uber, etc. Meals cooked by the kitchen were real good – guacamole is yummy! We didn’t notice any of the construction noise from the resort next door during our stay. However on Saturday there was a wedding there that had mariachi band and then DJ music until 11pm. That would have been a problem if you wanted to go to bed earlier. We do HIGHLY recommend this condo.

The condo was comfortable and clean and included conveniences as you’d expect at home. The bookshelf was a pleasant surprise…I was so happy and finished two books! The view of the ocean from the kitchen, dining room, living room, master bedroom and patio is spectacular!! The property is very close to the beach/water and it’s fun to watch everyone enjoy their water activities from the patio. I enjoyed being able to watch the resort next door’s nightly show. We enjoyed breakfast downstairs-it’s great and convenient! The pool was clean and warm. The beachfabulous-swimmable, clear emerald green water and powder soft sand. Although we had a rental car we enjoyed the convenience of taking the bus to go into town. We also enjoyed going toward Mismaloya for meals - quick parking and no waits. Favorite experiences aside from the beach and pool-Vallarta Eats taco tour, botanical gardens and lunch and walking the malecón and Romance Zone. Favorite dining experiences: in Mismaloya La Chosa my Tony and Maria Cuquita (we went to Maria’s three times in 7 days!!) and in PV the taco tour and a pizza restaurant (I can’t recall the name). We had an enjoyable stay…thank you for sharing your beautiful condo-we plan to return!

Did not start out the best as host gave us the wrong code to access the building. Toaster, toaster oven, pots/pans, cutlery, spatulas are very cheap and almost unusable. Awful fridge, we thought the door might fall off every time it is opened with a bad noise. Freezer would barely keep things frozen even at lowest setting. I would think such a nice condo would have better kitchen supplies. No paper towels, only spices were salt/pepper.No first aid kit or emergency candles, flashlights etc. We were told by other owners to light oven needed a lighter, but none in the unit.Picture #13 in the description, view from the Bay of Bandaras is very old. There is a very large hotel built very close to the condos. It is a problem as in the afternoons, pool games and at night music are VERY loud coming from the hotel. Owner should change this picture immediately. The employees at the condo are all very nice and all are just a joy. The food and drinks in the little cafe downstairs are good and not terribly expensive.The most favorite part of the condo is there is just an awesome deck and we really enjoyed that.

Beautiful Beach Front Condo - Outstanding Service

We had an absolutely fantastic stay. Condo was beautiful. A lovely indoor / outdoor environment with a great view on the water. We loved listening to the sound of the waves each night. The cooking and cleaning staff onsite were excellent and prices were very reasonable. Also, Mary the owner was fantastic. She was in touch multiple times leading up to the trip to make sure everything was setup perfectly for our stay, provided great advice on sites to see and even introduced us to a company that showed up to our condo to conduct on-site COVID testing prior to departure. The snorkeling gear and boogie boards in the condo also came in handy. Overall - 5 star stay. Loved it. Thank you Mary!

Paradise getaway

The condo is just as described! Spent many wonderful hours on the patio enjoying the sound of the waves and the ocean breeze. Excellent quiet location with the romantic zone only 15 minutes away by taxi. I miss the fresh green juice already

We have been coming to Puerto Vallarta for decades and have always had great times. We came upon Las Penas and fell in love with it all. Close enough to town yet peacefully fun. We know why the first settlers chose to be on this side of town , it does'nt get any better.

A wonderful beach at your feet , food and drink service on the beach or at the pool , beach restaurants just steps away, Being south of town with the rain forest at our backs makes for the greatest of climates and the best of views.
