Excellent house and location

We recently had a terrific experience at the Balboa Peninsula house. Very well appointed and roomy. The communication was excellent leading up to the check in and including check out. We walked to get coffee, to the Ferris wheel, ice cream, and took a ride with a friend on her boat. Plenty of bikes were available as well. Everything was within a couple of blocks. Having a parking space in the garage was appreciated. I highly recommend this property!

It was a perfect spot for what we were looking for. The length of the property was great for a feeling of separation/noise concerns between the rooms. The Property was clean and comfortable with a wonderful A/C system. We were provided with a great set of beach gear and the outdoor shower was very convenient. Very nice neighborhood with kind people around. 2 blocks away from the fun zone, the ferry and the beach.

Cool and convenient

This house is in the perfect location. It's steps from the ferry to Balboa Island, 5 minutes' walk to the beach and boardwalk, and within easy reach of restaurants, bars, and fun. Towels, bikes, beach chairs...All you need for a fun day at the shore is provided. And anything we needed or had questions about was answered within minutes. Definitely a great place to stay!!

Definitely a nice, convenient spot if you like the beach and surrounding areas. Tons of stuff walking distance as parking was our major issue while we were there. The locals get frustrated too so take a dose of patience with you if your vehicle is too large for the garage/carport. Seems a little smaller inside than I originally thought but it all worked out in the long run. Front patio was pretty dirty with cob webs otherwise the property is in pristine condition. The neighbors are super friendly and nice too. Denise was great to work with! I felt at ease having a person of contact in case I needed to and she was responsive immediately! Thank you for sharing your home with us. We took great care of everything. :)

Newport Family fun

This location is perfect for a family vacation! Very close to the beach and fun zone 5 min walk! Plenty of restaurants and good coffee shops within a 5 min walk too! The property was clean , beds were comfortable and kitchen fully stocked. Ac was awesome! Plenty of bikes and beach equipment to use. Customer service and communication was a 5 star! I would recommend this place and plan to stay again! Thank you

We vacationed with our adult children and grandbaby and had a fantastic stay. The property is clean, well-appointed and comfortable. The location is ideal. We would love to stay here again!

Enjoyed our stay

The property was clean and accessible to many attractions and just a short walk away from the Balboa Fun Zone and Ferry crossing. The only problem we had was that the sink in the master bedroom clogged up and gunk was coming up from the sink. We contacted the property manager and she was able to help us right away. Although we managed to unclog the sink ourselves, the property manager had a cleaning service come to the property to clean and sanitize the sink the next morning which we appreciated. Other than that our stay was pleasant and the unit is well equipped in the kitchen and bedrooms with linens and towels. I would rent the property again.

Great place even better location!

Couldn’t have stayed in a better location. Literally a couple minutes walk from the beach. Plenty of toys and equipment for the family to use at the beach. Check in process was a breeze and the rep was a pleasure to deal with.

Great Location!!!

My family and I had a GREAT stay and would highly recommend this to anyone wanting to stay in Newport Beach. We love walking Balboa Island and being 1 block to the ferry made it incredibly easy. We also love the beach, which was also a block away, so I cannot say enough wonderful things about this home and it's location. The house was very clean and as a bonus had all the beach towels, chairs, toys and boogie boards you will need. Thank you for accommodating me and my family!!!!

On the return list!

Turn left to the bay and island ferry, or turn right and your beachfront... Excellent location! House is beautiful and everything is maintained like new, plenty of room for our group of 8. Quiet neighborhood street, but only a block from a variety of shops, restaurants, etc. It was great to be able to everyone explore on their own.Dedicated property host that is always in contact when needed. The property owner happened to be in the area and shared a ton of suggestions which was also a plus!Will return to this property when we are back in the area.

Very Nice Place by the Beach

We stayed in this VRBO for three nights and it was very nice place. TV in the living room was not working, and the owner had it replace immediately. I can recommend this place for those looking to enjoy the Southern California Beach.

Beautiful home and location

The home was beautifully decorated and just a quick walk to the beach, restaurants and pier. The only negative is the upstairs unit. As noted by other folks, when people are in the upper unit you can hear every footstep

Know that someone is staying above you, and it's noisy

The place would have been perfect, except we had no idea someone would be staying above us, and you hear every footstep they take through VERY creaky floor joists. While the property description on the LAST LINE explains it's a duplex, we certainly had not read that far in the description as the "house" appears amazing in the pictures and description (which it otherwise is). Our first night we were woken at 4:30 a.m. when the upstairs neighbor must have left for the airport, and then when housekeeping came, they were dragging furniture around over our living space, which sounded like trucks driving by. Then the second night when the new guest arrived, they were up until after 11:00 p.m. moving in and unpacking, walking all over our ceiling for an hour. If you rent here, be prepared to rise and fall with the upstairs renters.

Wonderful location, great property

Pros: - Location! A block from the beach, a block from Balboa fun zone with restaurants, entertainment and bars, and about a 5 minute walk to the pier. - Property was clean, comfortable and inviting. - Having 2 parking spots and a washer/dryer was such a convenience. - Check in process was easy and fast. - Information booklet on how everything worked in the property was a nice touch. Cons: - Not really a con, but it was uncharacteristically cold the weekend we were in Newport so maybe a couple of more throw blankets would have been nice. We just ended up taking comforters from the bed to use whole lounging on the couch. We would recommend this property and would definitely stay here again!

Great place

Stayed in November. The weather was perfect we were able to walk to the ferry to tour around Balboa Island. The bikes were great for our party of 5 and watching the sunsets on the beach is a must. Beds are super comfy. We ate our meals out but the kitchen looked well equipped. It was an enjoyable weekend and we were able to see whales on our private boat tour.

We purchased this property to have a fun beach property to enjoy. There are so many ways to enjoy the Peninsula including lounging on the beach, rollerblading or biking on the beach walk, SUP, jet skiing, or renting a Duffy Boat, Kayak or Segway. In the evenings we love making a bonfire in one of the firepits on the beach, cooking up some hot dogs over the fire, and then roasting marshmallows for dessert.
