Our group of four girlfriends takes an annual long weekend trip together, and this year’s stay was absolutely perfect! The house was amazing, spotless, fully stocked, and so comfortable. The beds were dreamy, and the garage had every beach toy and accessory you could ever want.The location couldn’t be better. It was close to everything. We walked almost everywhere all weekend! There are fantastic restaurants, shops, and both piers, all within walking distance. We even rode the provided beach cruisers (which were in excellent condition and super comfy) all the way around the Back Bay loop trail (10.5 miles!) and through the Peninsula. It was such a blast!Lew, our host, was wonderful, so friendly and responsive. He greeted us at check-in, gave us a quick tour, and answered messages right away. Since no one was checking in the day we left, he even offered us a late checkout without us asking, such a thoughtful touch.We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. This place truly deserves 10 stars if we could give them! We’ve already decided we’re coming back next year!

Lou was amazing, met us to walk through the condo and offered us early access to beach gear and to store luggage while we waited for it to be cleaned.Great location near the beach, restaurants, grocery store, etc. Had a car but didn’t need it (unless we were exploring other beach towns). One of the best stocked places we’ve traveled to! There was an issue with the hot water heater that was fixed (a nice brand new hot water heater has been installed) so there won’t be issues going forward! Lou took great care to not inconvenience us with the new installation.Would highly recommend and would stay again!

The perfect spot for our vacation with our adult children. It was very clean and comfortable with every amenity you should need. It’s a great location to restaurants, shopping and beach. I would definitely return in the future. Thank you for a great stay.

This condo was extremely clean and well maintained. The owner Lou met us when we arrived and showed us around and gave us recommendations for where to eat and visit. Walking distance to many shops and restaurants. Only 2 min walk to the beach! Great stay!

The perfect location

This was the PERFECT location for our stay in Newport Beach. We were within 10 minutes of everywhere we needed to go and within very close walking distance of the beach. The property was loaded with everything we could need. Lou was very helpful and a great host. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect beach rental!

This place had everything you’d ever need/want for the beach. So organized and clean. Fully stocked kitchen. Owner was extremely nice and helpful. Easy walk to the beach, grocery store, shops and restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.

Girl's Weekend

Lou is hands down the best VRBO host I have ever experienced. He met us at the door and showed us through the house and amenities. He had a large basket of snacks, a big bowl of candy and plenty of bathroom supplies. Then in the garage he had everything you could need to enjoy a beach vacation. Bikes, helmets, coolers, beach chairs, sand toys and beach towels. The house was very comfortable and well stocked. We enjoyed the short walk to the beach, shops and places to eat. The grocery store is one block away. If you are looking for a great beach rental choose Lou's!!

Perfect getaway

Lou's place has everything you could ever need, including any beach item you can imagine. What a beautiful and convenient location--to the beach, shops, restaurants, etc. Very clean and organized. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Phenomenal beach stay!

My husband and I stayed here for a month -- we absolutely loved it! Fantastic location, great property, all the amenities you need and everything within walking distance. Just a block and a half to the beach. Our host, Lou, was beyond compare -- extremely friendly, very responsive and helpful. Would happily stay here again!

Friends Weekend

Four of us that meet yearly stayed at Lou’s place in Newport Beach. His home is in a great location, beautifully maintained and super comfortable. We travelled up and down PCH eating at great restaurants, shopping, and enjoying the view of the ocean despite the rainy and cold weather.

Owner of property lives directly about living room/kitchen

When we got there the owner insisted on meeting us there and then told us the garage code and a tour of the house. He lives directly on top of the kitchen/living room so any noise he was there to complain. First confrontation was him scolding my brother in law for riding his bike with a music speaker, second was pounding on the door at 10:13pm spring break weekend and said neighbors were complaining (him) and asked how many people I had I showed him and it was only 9 (2 were just visiting and did not stay overnight). Then third was him telling my kids friends outside his balcony”I don’t get it? I don’t get it?” We like to dance and sing and play charades. If you don’t like music and laughter then don’t rent your house. Pros he has a huge snack tray awaiting you. Garage is filled with bike and beach stuff. The warden style rental I’ll pass! I paid way too much (over three thousand) to be scolded for dancing and singing

Great beach house

The house was perfect as described. The floorplan worked great for our family. Lou greeted us right on time and quickly showed us how everything worked. The biggest surprise was just how loaded the garage was. He has at least 2 of every single beach toy you could ever want. The bikes were the most fun, you could be anywhere on them in minutes. Hope to be back very soon. Thanks again Lou!

amazing trip

Lou met us at check in and gave us a tour of the unit and amenities. We had four adults and three children in our group and the bikes, sand toys, chairs and boogie boards were a wonderful addition to the rental. The beach is very close and an easy 2 min walk from the house. The sunset was beautiful from the comfortable patio couch. There is a Pavillion's grocery store right across the street that was super convenient for preparing family meals. The Hook and Anchor restaurant was close by and had amazing lobster rolls. Parking was easy and directly at the back of the unit. Our stay at Lou's place exceeded our expectations and we would love to return in the future. As fellow hosts with 600 4.95 reviews, we have very high standards and Lou knocked it out of the park.

A Wonderful Stay!

After a long day of travel from the East Coast, our family was warmly welcomed by Lou personally and we walked into a impeccably clean and organized home. Lou was so kind to show us around. The location is amazing--we walked everywhere! The beach path every morning for coffee and donuts, to the beach to hang out in the sun using all the equipment in the fully stocked garage (seriously, anything you could think of needing is there), across the street to grocery shop, and out to dinner at some amazing restaurants. Lou's home and hospitality certainly made our trip comfortable and enjoyable. I would not hesitate to stay here again if we make our way out west in the future! Highly recommend!!

Family Reunion

Our rental was perfect for our family of 5. Lou and Bella greeted us in the parking lot. Lou spent about an hour and a half showing us the property and all of the amenities. Near the beach, markets and great restaurants. Thank you Lou!!

Fantastic place to stay for family vacation!

Lou was a wonderful host and has a great home walking distance from the beach. The proximity to the beach, fully equipped rental, spacious rooms, and many beach toys made our vacation top notch. Great Beach Vacation

We were wanting to spend a few relaxing days at the beach after a few more active days at Disneyland and this was the perfect spot. Less than a two minute walk along a non busy sidewalk to the non crowded beach, the house was well stocked with everything we could need or want to enjoy the area (chairs, umbrellas, coolers, bikes, etc.). The host was very personable and attentive without being overbearing. Highly recommended! Wish we could have stayed longer!

Good times

We had an amazing time. The house is in the perfect location. Walking distance to everything including the beach, restaurants, grocery store and other shops. Lou was very nice and walked us through everything. He provides everything needed for a great beach experience and goes above and beyond to accommodate his guests. We will definitely be back. Wonderful weekend with friends

We met friends from afar for this gorgeous weekend in Newport Beach. The house was as described with three comforfortable bedrooms. The proximity to the beach was perfect and the garage of gear was amazing! We used so many things to make our stay perfect. Lou is a kind and personable host and we were so grateful for his hospitality.

Great Property - Great Host

Stayed for 3 nights, in from Chicago. Lou was a great host that was super accommodating and helped out with everything from restaurant suggestions to bringing in our bags. Location was great - block and a half to the beach and close to restaurants and groceries. Property was clean, comfortable and loaded with everything you could need including a packed garage full of supplies for the beach and wagons to bring them in. Bikes were a great addition and our family took them for a ride down to Ruby’s on the pier. Evenings were cool so we spent it by the fireside after wine on the patio. Lou brought us cookies from a great local place and there was plenty of snacks and everything you’d need in the house. Looking forward to coming back again next year!

A Hidden Gem

Hands down the best stay in Newport Beach! You won’t regret staying here with friends, family, children or whoever. Lou has you covered on everything, just pack your clothes and make a stop at Ralph’s on the way in if you plan on cooking (there’s a grocery right across the street, but it’s more expensive). We felt as though we were the first people to stay there. A “10”+ for cleanliness! Everything we needed was at our fingertips. Lou has done an amazing job with this property. From all of the fully stocked amenities to his amazing hosting skills. Not to mention the absolutely delicious cookies he brought for us. We really enjoyed riding the bikes he provided from the fully equipped garage, around Newport and Balboa. I wish we could have stayed longer because there is sooo much to do! The walkability of this property is perfect. Everything we needed in walking distance. The beach is gorgeous and literally right down the street. We also drove to LA to check out the sites, but there is so much more in driving distance to see. I really can’t say enough, if you are coming to Newport Beach stay here, you won’t regret it! I have been traveling to Newport Beach for the last 25 years to visit my family. I really enjoy the area, and what it has to offer, most importantly how I can park the car and walk or bike anywhere I want to go.
I am a semi retired business man, and I really enjoy traveling, food, photo, friends, family and the gym.

Por que o anfitrião escolheu essa propriedade

After searching for many months and doing some intense research I wanted to be on a street that was MOST desirable! There are few blocks that are prime location in Newport and I know this is one them. Being so close to the beach is a given, however walking distance to the grocery store, many great eateries, bike rentals, breweries,
boat rentals, lido island, I just had to be on 30th Street.

In addition to the prime location, I am one of the few that has a 3 bedroom and 3 bath home/condo. The layout of the house is perfect! Each bedroom has it's own bathroom which is great for privacy.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

When going on vacation there is such much to remember to pack, and especially on a beach vacation. You need a host of items to bring to the beach. What makes this special and unique, having traveled throughout the years, I provide everything that is needed.
Linens for the bed, (I know it sounds ridiculous) but yes some beach rentals in newport require you to bring your linens. Beach towels, surf boards, boogie boards, beach wagon, beach umbrellas, ice chest, kids toys like a shovel and pail, cornhole, variety of balls and toys, fishing poles, etc.
Inside towels, toiletries, dishes, flatware, pots, pans, Keurig coffee maker with coffee are supplied, along with cooking utensils, bowls, BBQ, spices, Smart TV's. many have told me the biggest bonus is the A/C unit during the summer.
