Welcome to Mint For Fun in the exclusive Pirates Beach Subdivision! Stay in our comfortable house where you can relax and unwind. Our 3 bedroom house comes with everything you need for a perfect beach vacation, including a huge front deck with a view towards the beach. The house at 4114 Fiddler Crab Lane, is a short 2 minute walk to the beach.
The spacious upstairs primary room has a king size bed with a large private bath and a private outside deck. Bedroom #2 has a queen size bed and bedroom #3 has 2 bunk beds. These two bedrooms share a bathroom. The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking and there are several eating areas-kitchen table, breakfast bar and 3 more tables outdoors! The open floor plan connects the living room and kitchen.
On the ground floor you can grill on the gas grill, play a game of ping pong, clean fish in the outdoor sink and wash sand off in the outdoor shower.
The yard is landscaped and spacious due to the adjacent green space and open lot. Take our wagon, umbrella and sand toys and you are all set for fun in the sun!.

Perfect Beach Getaway

The house is very welcoming and beautifully decorated. The house has great views, lots of natural light and lots of outdoor seating. The ping pong table, board games and sand toys were nice amenities. The appliances in the house are high end and newer so everything works great. The window treatments in the large master bedroom made the entire space feel super luxurious.

Wonderful vacation

The home was beautiful, comfortable and very nicely furnished. We will definitely stay again in the near future. It was close enough to all the restaurants and everything that Galveston has to offer.

So much fun!

We absolutely loved our stay at this home. The location was perfect, very easy beach access and a beautiful beach! We also loved the extras, chairs and games and cute decor. We would definitely return to this home. Also the host was great and took care of all our needs. 😊

Weekend birthday getaway

Very clean and beautiful property. All the amenities worked. Loved that they had a wagon and beach toys. Perfect location and quiet neighborhood. Easy check out. Definitely be coming back.

Family get together

We stayed at Mint For Fun for three nights to enjoy the beach and visit with family. The house was exactly as presented online. Proximity to the beach and the neighborhood were great. We found the house mostly comfortable and appreciated that the owners had taken the time to decorate (this was clearly a step beyond our experience with other homes). And while we appreciated that the house was “put together”, we also appreciated that it wasn’t too precious. So important with kids! The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and appliances. The deck and patio under the house were fantastic. Wifi was good all over the property. While I wouldn’t say the house is set up to be toddler friendly/toddler proof, it was fairly easy to work out. Only con I can think of is that hvac is a little uneven between rooms and the bed in the second bdrm is a little well loved. Overall, we felt we got a good value from our stay and would recommend it. In the context of our other vrbo experiences, this was top 2.

Very fun stay

Margie did an amazing job making the home feel very welcoming. Communication was very good and the house was beautiful. The neighborhood was nice and quiet and the house was right in the middle of many nice spots to eat. The deck was amazing!

Home away from home

This is a beautiful home with plenty of room for a family of 7. It is a short walk to the beach and is equipped with everything you should need for a fun relaxing vacation. Our favorite of the places we have stayed at, and can’t wait to come back.

Wonderful experience!

The house was beautiful inside and out! Very well stocked for cooking. Best deck and patio. Walk to beach was easy and minutes away. Owner was very available if needed and super nice. One the best stays at the beach I’ve had. Highly recommend this rental! Loved our stay!!

As fun as the property name

Clean and Quiet

This was the cleanest rental house I have used. The house matched the on line description. It was super quiet and you could not hear any outside noise. I really enjoyed sitting on the patio and listening to the sound of the waves. Easy walk to the beach and we appreciated using the wagon. Great communication with owner before check in and we did not have any issues while we were there.

Wonderful Hosts

I cannot say enough about how wonderful this place was. First of all the owners were absolutely the best. They stayed in communication with us to make sure everything was all right and even helped us carry up our luggage when we had to take our suitcases up several steps. 1. House is located in a very desirable area/Pirates Cove/which was very quiet and did not have a lot of traffic but yet was accessible to many activities. 2. The house was very well stocked with everything you need. 3. The beds were very comfortable. Not too hard or too soft. 4. Close to beach and beach was clean and easy to walk. We had a wonderful time - a great experience for our first time in Galveston

Awesome stay

Mint for Fun

Absolutely lovely property! We stayed here for a week as a family with our two young children (6 & 9), and the house had everything we needed for a fun week at the beach! We loved spending our evenings on the deck, and the house is a very short walk to the beach - we went multiple times a day with kids & toys in tow! The house gets 5 stars for cleanliness, too! Margie was a wonderful & responsive host who made sure we had a great stay. Would highly recommend this property - we can’t wait to return!

Great Galveston Beach Rental

We lived in Galveston for 5 years and like to come back to visit most summers. Mint For Fun is an excellent rental in a great neighborhood with easy beach access. Margie was very receptive to our few questions we had during our stay. Because we lived on the island, friends are always asking us where to stay for their visits. I will definitely recommend Mint For Fun to them!

Annual Family Week in Galveston

Mint for Fun was the perfect home for our family of four adults and three school-age kiddos. We come to Galveston every summer, and this by far, was the most comfortable home we have stayed in. Margie's home is super clean, and we really appreciated the care taken to sanitize the linens before each family arrives. The open kitchen/living area, a nice grill downstairs, and a well-stocked kitchen made it easy to have meals at home. The home is in great location...a short walk to the beach, which is not crowded. We could easily "socially distance" our family from others who were walking, swimming, and playing in the sand. We had a wonderful week and will definitely be back again next summer. Thanks, Margie!
