A blissful escape awaits you at this charming waterfront home. From the front deck, you can watch the glistening sun as it peeks up from the Gulf of Mexico or watch the barges as they glide across the Intracoastal Waterway from the back deck. Enjoy crabbing and fishing from your private dock or wander out front and comb the beach for untold treasures.

This 3 bedroom 2 bath home offers amenities perfect for vacationers. The kitchen is well-appointed with stainless steel appliances, 2 full-size refrigerators, granite countertops, and a double oven. Feast on your catch of the day at the 8 person dining table! The outdoor features of the home include a lighted dock, access to crab traps, crab lines, landing nets, cast nets, a fish cleaning station, an outdoor shower along with a variety of games.

Sargent is a small community perfect for quiet, relaxing getaways. It's a unique blending of local with coastal. Whether you fish, crab, hunt or just want to relax, make our home your next destination spot!

Great spot for a quick fishing getaway

Property was very clean, owner was super helpful and the house was well stocked with everything needed (spices, pots, pans, etc). Definitely recommend and would stay again.

Fun weekend

There are plenty of extras with this stay. Enjoyed fishing, crabbing, kayaking, beaching, and the ocean views. Owners are more than helpful and provided plenty of amenities. Great stay!

Fishing and Family Fun

This house was LOVELY! We had an AMAZING time. We caught lots of fish and enjoyed the relaxation of the beach on one side and the ICW on the other. We LOVED this trip! Will book again!!

Paradise!

5 star stay!

This is truly what vacationing in a home is supposed to be! All the at home touches with a great location for a relaxing weekend of fishing and crabbing! We took a couple of extra days before heading out on a cruise from Galveston and we are so glad we did! Amy is easy to communicate with and the home is one of the cleanest and well stocked we have ever been too! Loved it! We'll definitely visit again!

Best family vacation!

The property was nicer than the pictures! We were greeted with a little welcome note and gift basket at the house. The views are incredible! We watched boats go by in the ICW and had just a short walk to the beach which was usually empty. It was like having the coast to ourselves. We loved the experience! 5 stars all the way!

Great Stay - the Owners have thought of everything!

We had such a great time at this house! The owners have thought of everything! What a great house, great amenities, great location - everything we had hoped for! Plenty of things for the kids to do and enjoy, we got to fish, kayak, spend time at the beach, enjoy the view from both the front and the back of the house, had everything we needed to cook wonderful food, slept comfortably, and enjoyed an incredibly peaceful and fun long weekend! Hopefully we can come back again soon!

Best house in Sargent!

Loved my vacation at Amy's house! She thought of everything to make my stay relaxing, fun and enjoyable. So many extra touches that I've never experienced at another vrbo property. Amy is the sweetest and most communicative homeowner and you can tell she takes pride in her lovely home. The dock was a blast fishing off of and the gulf is always an amazing and relaxing sight to see. The new bridge was so fun driving up and down on! I would come back again and only at Amy's wonderful home. Best vacation I've ever had. Thank you so much Amy, you're wonderful!

Paradise on the Beach & ICW!

Heaven on earth! Breathtakingly beautiful views of the Gulf of Mexico from the front of the home and fantastic fishing on the Intracoastal Waterway from the back of the home. Wonderfully equipped with everything your family needs, plus more for the perfect beach and fishing vacation. We enjoyed the super comfy beds and cute coastal decor. Amy is an amazing host and very hospitable. She is so sweet and goes above and beyond to ensure you get the most out of your stay. We had a blast catching Redfish, Croaker and Gafftop right off the pier! Our favorite thing we caught were the blue crabs! There were sooo many and they were sooo tasty!! The harvestable vegetable garden was such a nice treat. The surrounding area was super nice, with well maintained beach homes. We look forward to returning soon! It couldn’t have been more perfect.

This was by far the best property we have ever been to.

Great Home on ICW & Beach

We enjoyed our stay in Sargent! Amy goes above all others to make sure you have everything you need and some extras too! The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals. The cargo lift was great to get the luggage and groceries to the top floor. This was by far the cleanest VRBO we have ever rented. Fishing was fun from the back dock. We had a relaxing time and plan to rent again.

Comfortable, well-equipped and lovely - oh, and FISHING!!

This is THE fishing vacation house! Though we were pretty much shut out of the big catches due to the weather, we salvaged that part of the trip with easily bringing in bunches of crab. Thanks to owners' instructional videos of cooking and cleaning, we had an amazing crab cake dinner. Everything you could want for fishing access and meal prep was provided. Kitchen was equipped with every possible need. Kayaked across the intracoastal into the wildlife refuge - with a couple of spills trying to get back out through the culvert. Be alert for the tide timing when coming out. Owner was over-the-top communicative in all aspects of the accommodations. House was lovely as well as very cozy, comfortable and CLEAN! Beds and bedding were super comfortable. Thank you for sharing your home.

Beyond premier host

First off, Amy is far beyond helpful. She went above and beyond to make sure our stay was as enjoyable as possible, providing all sorts of extra fishing tips, and access to things at the house that were a very nice bonus. They had a cart to take to the surf, fishing rod holders, kayaks, and all sorts of things that most owners would not. Three refrigerators is also a huge bonus (until you forget which fridge you put what in lol).

Best VRBO stay yet!

We were so impressed with the property and the hospitality. It was a trip for our kids birthdays and they set up a tablescape with balloons and fishing lures and a bottle of wine for the grown ups. So sweet! They were communicative the whole time and the house literally had everything we needed. The dock was amazing for our boat and the property was so clean! We will definitely be staying here again, and we rate this 10/10! Thanks so much for letting us stay at your beautiful property! 🙂

Perfect vacation rental!!!

Very Clean, extra organized, cozy & comfortable with endless activities in the intracoastal and/or the beach. Amy is happy to help in absolutely any way you need, most attentive host I've ever worked with. My only complaint was booking in the one week of freezing temperatures in February (clearly my mistake). We will be back again!

Above and Beyond

As the title says, our host went above and beyond. Amy made such a comfortable and personalized stay for my family. The house has everything you would ever need for the stay and for fun. The beds are all very comfortable. The neighbors were extremely nice. Our favorite spot was the fishing dock. Thank you Amy we will be back!

AMAZING STAY AND HOST!

We rented this home for our friends who came to Sargent to help me celebrate my birthday. Amy went ABOVE and BEYOND to make our guests feel right at home. She gave us a lot of info and she even included a sweet welcome note and package for Scott and Paula. The home is immaculate and beautifully decorated. If we didn't already own a home in Sargent, I would stay here!.

Quick getaway

We had an AMAZING time!! Exceptional host. They literally thought of everything and the personal touches were perfect! We caught a big variety of fish and will definitely be back! The dock lights were great for night fishing and back the beach right across the road was a perfect setup for our family. Beautiful sunsets and relaxing mornings. We can’t wait for our next trip to Sargent!
