Each winter, the fantastic slopes of Crested Butte (31 miles north) and Monarch Mountain (45 miles east) are an easy day trip away.

Throttle Therapy

This property was a great pick for us. There were 4 of us and we had plenty of room in the house and outside. The house was well stocked with everything needed. Plenty of parking for 2 trucks and with the carport, 2 smaller adventure motorcycles. The neighborhood was very quiet.

Family stay

Everything inside was great and upstairs master bedroom was perfect for our daughter and son in law with their new baby. Only challenge mom who has mobility issues. We managed but it was difficult at times. No complaints as we expected that somewhat but good to know if your in that situation.

Family Gathering

Was nice, good location and inside was nice and clean. Was a bit challenging with older adult with mobility issues. Managed but downstairs bathroom was a bit difficult. Steps out front also that we were prepared for. Love the setting and spent fair bit of time on decks and yard. Decks and yard could have used a bit of attention but nothing that stopped us from enjoying them.

Nice home for a long weekend

Was in town for graduation. The house was very clean, beds were confortable, location was good, quiet neighborhood. Loved the daily visits from the local deer! Overall good stay.

Hiking adventure

This is the third year in a row that my son and I stayed in Gunnison for the first week of May. We’ve stayed at hotels the last two years. The this year, I started looking into VRBO rentals. I found this fantastically appointed home for our 6 night stay. It was perfect for what we needed as a home base. We hiked 8-10 hours each day and it was a superior experience to come “home” afterwards. No more stopping at the hotel, cleaning up and heading to a well deserved dinner. The kitchen was appointed very well for whatever meals we planned on cooking. The beds and pillows were comfortable, the linens spotless. And the reclining couches, though not something I’ve ever had, were incredibly comfortable when my son and I needed to wind down and charge the batteries. It was only the two of us so stayed on the first floor in the room next to the boy, but that huge upstairs bedroom with king size bed sure did look great. The washer/dryer was also great to have, as every other day our gear was fresh and clean. The bbq tank was empty so I replaced it with a new one, then the bbq wouldn’t go over 300 degrees, so I broiled my steak instead. My experience staying in this home was well worth the 5 star review, regardless of the bbq issue. Everything was great and I hope to stay at this home again next year. Thanks to the host for a tremendously memorable outdoor vacation we had!

Nice Place

Nice place with everything we needed for a quick and easy stay. Communication was great, I was sent all the info in advance and didn’t need anything during our stay. And it was so convenient to have a closet big enough for a pack and play!

Affordable and clean place

Enjoyed our stay! Very affordable and clean place. Will recommend to other visitors. Quiet neighborhood.One of downstairs bedroom windows were not locking, it will be safe to lock them.

Visiting my son who's at WCU

This is a great place to stay. It's so quiet, clean comfortable place to stay. It's close to restaurants, Safeway, coffee, you name it. The college is maybe 3-5 mins away, as well. There's a HUGE master bedroom upstairs with a king size bed. However, it was just me, so I slept in one of the downstairs bedrooms and the bed was incredibly comfortable! This home is connected to the home next-door. You never hear the neighbors, except, when they come home. You hear their front door close. I live in a quiet area on the front range and was pleasantly impressed by how quiet this area was, especially with common walls shared with the neighbors. I would absolutely stay in this home again, if they would have me. Thank you for letting me stay in your comfortable home!

Perfect!

This home is perfect for a very relaxed stay. The location in a very nice small town makes it easy for obtaining any supplies you could use. Nice shopping and easy town to get around in. day trips to interesting places are easy. The property is modern, clean, well furnished and quiet. We enjoyed watching the deer walk past with their fawns and seeing ducks in the stream. All in all a great place.

Comfortable and Convenient

The house is conveniently located in a complex of vacation homes and rentals on the west side of town. The recliner couches made for a comfortable stay. The house was cool inside even when outside temperatures were above 90. The internet was fast and there are two smart TVs (note though that guests must sign in to apps they want to use). The house is a duplex but the neighbors were quiet. There is no view of the small stream by the house but the West Tomichi Riverside Park is a 2-3 minute drive.

Nice home in quiet neighborhood

Enjoyed our week-long stay here! Covered front porch great for morning coffee and meals. Quiet neighborhood and able to hear stream next to the house and watch deer walk through the neighborhood. Good location to head out and explore the Gunnison Valley from!

Get away trip

Had issues with the lock. Could not get it to work properly upon arrival. Put call in to manager and they came right away and had to replace battery. Then when leaving could not input code to indicate we had vacated the property. Had to call and let them know we were leaving. The property was as indicated on the web site and was very comfortable. Our family enjoyed it.
