5 Bedroom, 2 Bathroom Cabin in Lakes of the North Sleeps up to 12 people!

Located 25 minutes SW of Gaylord. You and your family can enjoy all Lakes of the North has to offer: Deer Run Golf course and pro Shop, Clubhouse with indoor pool, hot tub and lazy river. Tennis court, game and exercise rooms. Two beaches, beach houses, boat rentals. Miniature golf, Camp grounds, Riding Stable, Hiking and biking trails. ORV and Snowmobile trails, and Winter Sports Area Clubhouse.

Our cabin is open all year around for Vacations in any season.

Bedrooms on the upper level: one has twin bunk beds and a full size bed. Other bedroom has two double beds. Full living room, full bathroom and kitchen. Lower level has three bedrooms, two of them have queenbeds and the third has double bunk beds for 4 kids. Full living room, full bathroom, and laundry room.
Fire pit, 2 picnic tables, and 2 two person swings available outside.
Furnished with all the amenities of home just bring clothes and food.

Beautiful Neighborhood - secluded yet not!

Lovely home for a large group (we had 8 adults and felt very comfortable with plenty of room!) Home was clean and tidy, with every basic amenity of home you could possibly need. The property was just enough "out of the way" that it felt truly "up north" and away from the hustle and bustle. Very close to all sorts of activities! Loved the fire pit in the back with swings and space to play - even in the winter. Would love to stay here again!

Awesome House Lots of Room

Came up for a sxs trip with a total of 13 people and the property was perfect! Super clean, lots of room for everyone to have their own space plus kitchen and living room was big for us all to enjoy time together plus LOTS of parking for trucks and trailers. We will for sure be back!!

Great weekend in the snow

This is our second time staying at this property and we love the location and the amount of room! Plenty of space for parking and tons of space in the house. Not to far from trails and we also enjoyed the hot tub after a day in the snow. We will be back soon!

Amazing house

We came up to ride sxs for a long weekend and we were blown away by how nice the place was kept. The kitchen was fully stocked and so were the bathrooms. Getting in the house was very easy and kept very comfortable. The ample parking in the back yard was awesome and being able to ride from the house made it very easy. We stopped at the bear mini mart each morning to fill up on gas and ice. We rode all different directions and had a blast. There was plenty of firewood to have a fire each night. All in all the place was amazing and we would go back in a heartbeat

Family vacation

The kitchen had everything you may need, very well stocked with items. The home was clean and property was very nice. Disappointed there was no grill and no AC. I missed no AC on this location after searching for weeks for a place to stay. Was well supplied with fans to try and cool house. Plenty of room and beds for a large group. Appreciated the complimentary wood for a night fire. Overall nice rental...great plus was washer & dryer. Well located for everywhere we visited.

Wonderful family getaway

We chose this property for our first combined family vacation and couldnā€™t have been more pleased. There was plenty of room for all of us (6 adults and 4 children - three of whom were under 3 years old). The house and property were very clean and well maintained. The house included everything we needed for the week, and the beds were very comfortable. Having access to the lakes, playgrounds, and community center was a huge selling point for us and they did not disappoint. Elmira was close enough for us to take a day trip to Traverse City, but we didnā€™t feel compelled to leave more than once because everything we were looking for in our up north vacation was within a couple of miles of the house. I highly recommend this home for your next family getaway!

A nice place to stay

Nice location for my visit. Iā€™m building a home in Alden Meadows. I was able to meet with my builder and take care of business in Belair. My only complaint, and itā€™s a small one, the bathroom shower is reversed for the cold and hot water. I was waiting for the shower to heat up for about 10 minutes and it kept running cold. I thought that there might be a problem with the water heater. I turned on the hot water in the sink and it got hot quickly. I then turned the shower from hot to cold and comfortably hot water came out. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and everything worked. The fire pit was wonderful and the charcoal grill was in good shape. Weā€™ll worth the price of the stay.

Everything as expected. Lots of room for 2 families.

We had 2 families of 5 and there was plenty of room for sleeping and hanging out. Beds were comfy with nice bedding. There were tons of extra blankets and pillows. We cooked all of our meals there and the kitchen is well appointed and has a dishwasher. We spent a lot of our time at the kitchen table playing games. We brought our own, but there were also cards and a few games provided. The tv downstairs has a DVD player and a lot of dvds, mostly for kids. There is also a washer and dryer with detergent provided. We didnā€™t spend much time outside, but there is a nice deck, several swings, a fire pit, and a basketball hoop. There is plenty of room for parking. I ran a few miles and the community is nice for that. The house is 2 miles from the clubhouse, which we used a lot with the provided guest pass. Our kids loved the pool, water slide, and game room, which we basically had to ourselves. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will likely return as we work on building our own cabin in lakes of the north.

Great communication

Pros: -Owner was great with communication -Process (getting in / out) was super easy -The clubhouse was great for the kids (7-9 year olds) Cons: -We had a couple family members that struggle with stairs/going up hills and this house has it's kitchen on the upper level which was fine but these family members struggled a bit to get in/out -The fire pit was off limits but not really sure why

Great Place to Stay

This is our second Father's Day weekend that we stayed in this house. It is very quiet and secluded. The house is so clean it's amazing. The layout and space is perfect for a large family. The proximity to the pool/clubhouse and the two small lakes makes this perfect. This year we had a few mishaps with internet issues and the owner went out of his way to make it right . We will be returning next year.

Good Value and Location

Really liked the location and layout of the house for our multi-family vacation weekend in the winter. The availability of the clubhouse was a nice addition for the kids. The daily family cost of $20/per family of 6 to use the clubhouse was reasonable and the staff was friendly. Would recommend for a multi-family vacation and will likely stay here again. Travelers will need GPS since the circle road naming is confusing without a map. Would recommend bringing some DVDs as well for the basement TV.

Just okā€¦

Entire top floor smells like urine. Zero water pressure. Only one table, 5 chairs for everyone to eat. Couch and entertainment center broken. No AC. TVā€™s worked great. Had to contact host to obtain PIN to unlock tvā€™s. No instructions left. Listing said there would be a guest pass for the Clubhouse. There wasnā€™t, so we had to pay $30 per day to visit Clubhouse. We carried a picnic table up to the deck because there was literally nowhere to eat, and owner got upset. We still had a great time, Lakes of the North is great, but would probably pass on this rental in the future. I will say that Tom was very responsive and good to deal with until he got upset about the picnic table being on the deck! šŸ˜†

Our family had a great time at Tom's cabin. Quiet and private, we were able to relax and enjoy each other. Property was clean and we'll maintained. Tom responded quickly to our questions. Cabin is within minutes of town but seems miles from anything. Would stay again.

Super clean. Description is exact and was better than expected. Tons of room. Very quiet. Tons of room for parking. Everything was good quality, not cheap. Dishwasher and laundry facilities a plus! Dumpster great too so no having to find places to dump trash! Great community pool and clubhouse. Access to two lakes. Pencil Lake is absolutely gorgeous. Close to multiple day trips. Highly recommend!

Very nice and quiet location, we had a group of 9 and we all fit comfortably.

Loved the location and the backyard fireplace was awesome. Missed out on the clubhouse pool (Covid), pretty bummed but we made the best of it. Thanks it was fun.

Best Snowmobiling house

We stayed 3 nights, we rode all day Everyday, it was a tiny bit farther from the power line trail than we expected but not a bad ride and was a great feeling coming back to this home. It was warm and comfortable, the sauna was a HUGE plus! It got down to 0 degrees and used it to thaw us out. The home itself is very clean and roomy, it can accommodate a big group. The mud room for me was the best, it was very nice to have an area to keep everything in and not spreading wet boots and clothes around the house. With a huge parking area in the back big enough to turn our truck and trailers around. This house is top of our list to comeback again. Thanks again Tom.

Perfect getaway

My family and I had a wonderful time at Tomā€™s cabin. It was relaxing and Tom was prompt to communicate when I had questions. The house has everything you need and more than enough room for a large family. We will definitely be back!
