Whether you are looking for a cozy space during ski season or a home base for summer lake activities, this home's hilltop location is perfect year-round. Enjoy a glass of wine on the deck at sunset and maybe you will be lucky enough to see the wildlife down below!

This location is hard to beat. Huntington Lake is just minutes away, where you'll find boating, hiking, mountain biking, and swimming available! For the winter months, skiers and snowboarders alike will definitely want to make a day trip to China Peak Mountain Resort with runs for all skill levels. If you aren't in the mood to cook, try some local cuisine at Lakeshore Resort Restaurant, a local favorite for a hearty meal!

Absolutely fantastic, will be coming back!

We absolutely loved our stay in this cabin! The cabin is very spacious and set up perfectly to host larger groups or families. It was clean and well stocked, including having fans in every room which came in handy in the warmer parts of the day. Itā€™s located only a few minutes from Huntington Lake, hiking trails, and so many other outdoor activities. We absolutely loved our time here and every step was an easy and seamless experience. We will definitely be back!

Amazing Views!

I love vacation homes that are well situated and cozy. This place is exactly that. This is a corner condo with amazing views of China Peak Ali resort and Huntington Lake. It was spacious, comfortable and well equipped to last out the winter. There was so much snow everywhere I played with my kids just outside the door and saved a lot of travel time to a snow park just because of the property pluses. It may be a bit dated and lacked a few amenities Iā€™m used to, but had all that we needed to make it a comfortable and memorable Christmas. I would recommend to be prepared with snow chains during the winter just in case. This place is at the very top of the neighborhood and those last 300 feet are quite slippery. Bring your grill items cuz the BBQ works great and the deck is where you want to party.

Check out list was cute but wrong. Dish washer inoperable, confirmed Monday a.m. by your shaver lake tech. Broken plug, heater in middle bath inop, refer dirty we cleaned, jam on toaster, crumbs and popcorn on floor perimeter, wife dusted areas we used. Toilet paper holder in master broken, opened food in cabinet. This is a great place but very overpriced for the quality shown. We lived up here but left ten years ago. You need a quality control to do inspections. List of problems given to your two staffers on Monday last. Good items. View parking furnished and well appointed. When short comings cleaned weā€™d like to return, we love the area and this unit. John

Great condo - Terrible maintenance

Unsafe: Decaying mice some with bugs. Exposed outlets. Wiggly railing. Propane leak. Fridge did not get very cold, not cooling to a food-safe temperature. Unsanitary conditions due to mouse droppings on floors and in kitchen drawers and cabinets. Shock hazard due to missing face plate on outlet in living room and outlets falling out in the loft. Maintenance guy got shocked! Propane leak smell from hot water heater. No lock on one sliding glass door.Cleanliness: 5 dead mice found in pantry, under kitchen sink and in a cooking pot. Dust everywhere. Mouse droppings everywhere. We had to wash EVERYTHING because kitchen drawers and shelves had mouse droppings. No disinfectant, no cleaning rags, broom broken. We didnā€™t want to spend our vacation cleaning and disinfecting. Annoyances: Unbearably hot inside with normal summer temps of 70s to low 80s. Many windows didnā€™t have screens.. Decomposition smell from rotting mice. Critters scratching in the walls and heater vents kept us awake. Dead batteries in all the TV remotes. Ice maker broken. Cushions for deck chairs were deteriorated and unusable. Not given enough basic supplies for 8 people for 7 days. No paper towels or kitchen linens. Our food spoiled prematurely due to bad fridge. The fan in the main bathroom was broken, so showers turned into saunas. (building code violation?) 3 broken can openers. No dish drain rack. We didnā€™t find the upper-level loading zone until after we carried all our stuff up the long steps.
Two dead mice in a stock pot in kitchen cabinet. Bodies full of bugs.
Plug in living room that shocked the maintenance guy.

Wonderful, but

This is our favorite of all the many condos we have stayed in since our cabin burned down. Love the deck, view, and furnishings, but would have been more comfortable if the downstairs room had a window curtain and a lock on the outside door. The refrigerator never got cold, we had to toss milk, meats, etc.

Enjoyed the condo very much

We loved our stay very much. The kitchen was well appointed and the overall furnishings suited our likes. The only negative was the loft. One bed was so old the springs were noticeable and made it unusable. The cleanliness of the loft also showed it had either been unused for some time and/or was not well cleaned. The narrow spiral staircase for a full sized adult to navigate is a minus. Underneath the beds showed that vacuuming was not a priority and a huge spider scared off the guests planning to sleep there and slept on the sofa bed instead. Blinds in the lowest full bedroom would help with insulation and the memory foam mattresses were rock hard from being so cold. The 2nd night after warming up was better. With all that being said, we would stay there again!

Great condo, great location. Had a hard time keeping the hot water working, it has an on-demand unit that would kick on/off unpredictably. If they get that fixed, itā€™s easily a 5 star review.

Great Condo

We arrived about 45 minutes before check-in and the new owner was just finishing her remodel of the condo - we passed the contractor driving out as we drove in. The owner did a great job fixing up the place - new flooring, countertops, sinks, shower enclosures, paint - very well done! The kitchen is also well-equipped. We were doing pretty ambitious meals for 10 and we brought a lot of equipment but the kitchen had, for example, 3 thermometers and we used them all. The condo does handle 10 guests but it is best suited for two couples with up to 5 children but our group was comfortable. The Eagle's Nest Complex is a great jumping off point. We took a couple of hikes into the Sierrra that started right out of the parking lot. We took a day drive deeper into the Sierras and picnicked at Lake Florence and we stopped at Mono Hot Sprints. Huntington Lake is very quiet which we loved. On another trip we rented snowmobiles and did the same thing. Definately be back.

Beautiful

We really enjoyed our time. The views from the deck are wonderful and we really appreciated the fact that this was located at the end of the street so that it was very peaceful. The set-up inside is great. We look forward to staying here again.

The view from the patios is nice as you can see the lake and China Peak. We would enjoy watching wildlife on patio. The table umbrellas and bbq came in handy numerous times. The location was also very good. Just down the hill is a small store and a little further down a great fishing hole where the river enters the lake and is very easy to walk to off the road. There is picnic sites, lake beaches etc. all within a few minutes drive from the condo.

Great location

My husband and two boys stayed here for several days while on a ski trip to China Peak. The location was the primary draw, being so close to the resort. The home is spacious, comfortable, and the Wifi worked well which was important as this was a working vacation for us. The place could use updating (including the kitchen supplies and bed linens) but overall we enjoyed our stay.
