Perfectly perched near the lake and two miles from skiing and mountain biking at China Peak, this stylish condo will be just the place to kick back and let life's cares slip away with the summer breeze! The interior of this getaway will have you spoiled in no time with wonderful wood paneling throughout, nautical decor, plush furnishings, and a pellet stove(Pellet fuel is not provided, but can be purchased at Shaver Lake hardware for $20 for a 20lb bag (enough to last for a week). The full kitchen is equipped with everything needed to whip up family-favorite recipes in no time. Come summer, sip a glass of wine amongst the towering trees on the back deck as you grill up some kabobs on the gas grill. When you want to venture out a bit, the shared pool and hot tub can be just the place to cool off or soak in bliss after a day on the slopes!

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Perfect getaway

The house is very close to the lake, neighbors are friendly and welcoming and hikes are magnificent. We will come back!

Great stay!

The condo was immaculately clean and we made sure to keep it that way (took our shoes off to preserve the carpets, etc). All blankets, pillows, towels, kitchen utensils were provided, and then some. We were very comfortable and would love to stay again! Thank you for a great stay!

Great family condo!

We had a great visit to Huntington Lake in this condo! Kitchen was well stocked, loading/unloading was easy with the flat walkway, living room couches were comfortable, and the kids enjoyed playing with the games that were stocked! Would definitely stay there again, and already sent the listing to a friend! Thanks for a great stay’

Great location for skiing with friends

Nice comfortable condo a few minutes drive to China Peak. Well outfitted small kitchen, comfortable beds good for our family of 5 but could handle a few more. Open spacious feeling with high ceilings, modern appliances and flooring. Good value

beautiful area!

Beautiful remote area. great hiking and the lake is very nearby. There are 2 general stores. Neither is greatly stocked as of this visit, so bring what you specifically want. there were two options for eating out - the boat house was awful and the saloon/restaurant being rebuilt was good. There are a lot of stairs in this condo. seven down to the living room, then back up and down different set of 14 steps to the middle level. Just know you will get a workout going up and down stairs. It was hot this past weekend but the house was very cool inside. lots of room inside - couches, dining room table and a twin bed nook in the dinging room I took a nap in. great location on the north end of the lake but bring food.

Lots of space (and stairs!) - great for families

The beds were comfortable and kitchen was decently equipped. There are stairs from top floor (kitchen/dining) to the living area, and another set of stairs from the kitchen to the bedroom with twin/full bunks + bathroom, and then another set of stairs that take you down to the master suite with attached bathroom. Water pressure and hot water were plentiful. Just be sure you're ok with lots of stairs. It's uphill from the community pool, so plan accordingly, and a longer walk to the lake (which our teens preferred). We love Huntington and will be back next year!

The door access code was very long and didn’t work for us but the rep help resolve the matter. She was very nice.

Nice and Comfortable

Condo is nice and it’s comfortable, but cleaning staff could clean cobwebs, clear screen door path of debris and the coffee make needs a new basket plunger. The window in the downstairs master bedroom would not open, I called Vacasa but no one ever came to fix it. This would have been nice to help ventilate the room. Overall a good condo, great location, and the price is perfect. I have rented this unit before and would rent again.

Nice place, could be cleaner

We booked this condo for Father’s Day weekend. All I wanted was fishing in the mountains with a hot tub. This place had all my requirements, so we booked it. The hard floors upstairs were very dirty. Like after an hour of walking around with no shoes on, our feet were black. There was a dirty pan in the oven. Some cooking utensils were not very clean also. Also had hair stuck to the wall in the shower. There was a pull out bed in the room with two beds. The springs were all falling out of the bed, so my daughter had to sleep on the floor. The kitchen rugs were filthy as well. When we went to use the hot tub, someone from the HOA at the office said they ran out of propane to heat the hot tub. At over $600 a month for HOA fees, how does this happen. It looks like something very heavy fall on the deck out back leaving a nice crater with sharp edges. I found it when I step on the sharp edge barefoot. But the fishing was great like always at Huntington Lake.

Great little gem

The condo was very clean upon arrival. Kitchen was well stocked with pot and pans. Since lakeshore will be closed this year, so cooking is a must. Sleeping arrangements were great and my kids loved the little daybed. Ran out of propane and the local property manager was quick to replace it for us. Only down fall is the power was out from about 6pm our last night until we left the next day at 9am. I suggested that they have candles, charged flashlights or non electric lighting sources, as outages are part of our summers in California. We would love to rent this condo again next year!

Perfect quiet getaway

Located within walking distance of Huntington Lake and short drives to several hikes in the area. A great little spot to stay in the mountains, escaping the city chaos. Remember to pick up groceries before you head up the mountain as the only nearby stores are small local stores with limited selections.

Lake Therapy

Lake Therapy has a relevant mountain/lake decor. Kitchen appliances are great, and there are plenty of dishes, pots and pans, and kitchen utensils. There is a nice collection of topical books, plus games, etc. The deck is lovely, especially in the morning. (We were there in early May, and the warmth felt great.) Check in and check out was easy.

Perfection

This place has great amenities, is cozy and super close to China peak for skiing. Also just a short little drive or walk to the lake. It was secluded and very clean. Good fireplace and comfy beds. Only downside was we couldn’t use the deck or grill to our full advantage because there was huge amounts of ice on the deck. Still amazing spot and would stay there again for sure

Better than home

I wish my home was this nice. Stayed here a few times and seems like it is always getting better. First of all, it is very comfortable and cozy. The kitchen is well supplied, there are games for everyone, and the place has style. Great location near the lake and ski resort. Keep up the good work.

Peaceful getaway

Everything was perfect the home was clean, well stocked kitchen, lots of board games, tv with great internet service and nicely decorated we stayed early/mid November and I was impressed they had a Christmas tree and lights us we very much appreciate that special touch. The home was bigger than we expected which is great if you have a larger family. We are a family of 4 with 2 children 2 and 4 years old and they loved it. We had everything we need plus some.
