AMAZING HISTORIC HOME IN TOBIN HILL! PRIME LOCATION! This beautifully renovated home is in one of the most sought after areas in San Antonio. This home is literally two properties over from the St. Mary's Strip which offers tons of restaurants, nightlife and is exactly 1 mile from The Pearl! Enjoy 1,846 sq. ft. of living space and an expansive covered front porch along with multiple areas to entertain in the backyard. This home has never been rented, very well maintained and is ready for its guests to enjoy! Unpack and enjoy SA..Literally! Minutes from the Riverwalk, Alamodome & so much more! Please note: our home is located in one of the streets off of Hwy 281 South and off the St. Mary's strip that attracts a very large crowd on weekends. Road noise can be heard from inside the homes and sometimes noise from the St. Mary's strip. Although, you're in the middle of everything so it kind go goes with the territory of being in the middle of it all!

Great location

Super close to the Pearl District and the airport (via uber). House is good, but it is close to the freeway so there is traffic noise perfect for 5 people.

Great stay in awesome location!

I had three friends come in from out of town for a golf trip. We were looking for a nice place with enough full size beds so everyone could sleep comfortably that was centrally located. This place checks all those boxes and was a great place to stay. The house is renovated, well decorated, and so clean. We were comfortable as soon as we arrived and had great communication with John, the host. The house is walking distance from a lot of restaurants and bars, and only a 5 minute drive to the Pearl which was perfect for us. Highly recommend for your trip to SA!

Only complaint is the noise level next to the highway. House was spotless and comfortable. Close to the Pearl and Riverwalk.

Almost great location...

We had previously stayed at a property on the other side of St Mary. Unfortunately, we didn't realize this was right next to freeway and the convenience to Tycoon Flats was impacted by the drunk partiers knocking on our door at 1am. We also had some issues with both showers and the owner was not responsive for more than an entire day. Our first thought was to contact via Vrbo app, then I received a text saying I should have called him directly.

San Antonio Getaway

Very nice rental property in the Tobin Hill neighborhood. Lots of cool restaurants and food trucks within walking distance. Good communication with our host, John. Only downside would be the road noise from the freeway.

Great House and Host

We loved our stay at this property. The house is so well done and inviting for a big family. The big dining table was definitely the gathering spot. I can’t say enough about our host. Definitely recommend this house for location, comfort and value.

Convenient Location

This property was great. Very clean and beautifully decorated. Convenient location. It had every thing we needed. John was great. He checked in to see if we needed anything throughout our stay.

Excellent Rental

This house was perfect for a girl’s trip to celebrate a retirement! John is very accommodating and took time to make sure we had everything we needed each day that we were there. The house is extremely clean, attractive, updated and functional. Wonderful all around!

Excellent All Around Rental

Renting this house was a pleasant experience start to finish. John was the most responsive and accommodating host you could ever ask for. He met our every need and responded instantly to any email or text message. He also gave excellent advice on where to go and eat. The house was immaculate and so beautifully decorated. It felt so special walking into such a gorgeous living area all decorated for the holidays. The location was fabulous, within minutes of Riverwalk and The Pearl and walking to distance to cute coffee houses and restaurants. Our personal favorite was Summer moon for a morning walk to get really good coffee. The highway noise was a little disturbing at night while sleeping, but not enough to deter us from a repeat visit. All around an excellent stay and can't say great enough things about John.

Little Blue House

We had everything we could need for a Thanksgiving Friendsgiving. It was our first time celebrating away from family, but it still felt like home here. This home reminded me of me and my husband first house that we spent a few years of our marriage. It was so close to everything we had planned to do during our stay with our kids. I can’t wait to plan our next trip to San Antonio to stay at the Little Blue House. My daughter is already asking about when we can go again. John was a great host and was very responsive during our stay.

The BEST. Stayed here to celebrate a bachelorette party in San Antonio. Place was immaculate and the owner John was very accommodating. Close to everything and really cool if you want to walk instead of driving to bars and restaurants. John is a smart man. He prices the place to beat other spots. He could easily charge a lot more and the place is so nice it would be well worth it. My girls and I had the best time ever. Thanks John for everything. Say hello to your assistants who helped. Keep up the good work.

Weekend trip

Took a girls trip for the weekend it was perfect! Close to all the bars, short ride to downtown and the market. The house was super clean and very updated, beds were comfortable, with 8 of us in the house we really enjoyed our stay

Great Space & Location

We took our family here to spend the weekend checking out San Antonio. We weren't sure what we were doing so we stayed near most of the fun. The Host was very attentive and made sure to call and made sure we had everything we needed for the stay. The house was very clean and had great amenities. My kids won't stop talking about the AWESOME Shower! lol Rooms are comfy and lots of space. Décor is very nice and updated. Location the location is great! 15 minutes from the San Antonio Zoo, Downtown, the Pearl Brewery and so many locations to eat!!! If you go in a big group though, beware that these are smaller restaurants that gets pretty filled up on the weekends.

My family enjoyed our stay in this nice house. John, the owner, was hospitable. The description of the property mentions a major highway nearby. That was not an issue for us. It did not bother us at all. Off street parking was nice. The house was very comfortable.

BEAUTIFUL HOME!!!!

We went to San Antonio to see our son (Trinity student) and this home was very close to the university. It is so nice and updated inside but also very homey. We loved our stay and would definitely come back. We love to travel with our two Shih Tzu dogs and his home doesn't allow pets; so that would be the only reason we would not return to his home. You will absolutely LOVE staying here!! The Overview of his home does mention that the house is in a very popular area with bars and restaurants and it can get noisy at night. This is a very honest and accurate statement. It does get noisy at night but we knew to expect that. GREAT home and host!!!

We had a great time! This home is in an excellent location, very close to local bars and restaurants!! The house is close to downtown and The Pearl, which lends a lot of opportunity to explore different parts of downtown San Antonio. The house was clean and beautifully remodeled and slept 9 comfortably!! The owner had just replaced two of the beds upstairs with new mattresses which was awesome. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook meals. Overall we had a fantastic experience!!

Great House, Great Location!

The house was very clean, and modern inside. It was also larger than we expected. The area is convent to all the amenities including a great restaurant and bar scene. The owner was kind, informed is of local spots and always responded to our communications. We will try to rent here again!
