Cute big bear cabin

We had a great weekend in Jennifer’s cabin! Cabin was cute and rustic with everything we needed. Location was great - 2 miles from mostly everything, but set away just enough to feel like you’re removed from the main strip. Nice views off the back deck.

Comfy cabin with great view

Cute, comfy home with a large deck, nicely decorated to add to that outdoor in the woods feel. So many "didn't realize I needed that" touches such as dog toys and other dog needs, bird seed for the jays, woodpeckers and other visiting birds. Although the place is well stocked, it is lacking in cookware for feeding more than 2 people. It needs a large fry pan and ceramic or glass pans for the oven and microwave. Many of the kitchen cupboards are locked. It would have been nice to have 1 cupboard space to hide food instead of leaving everything on the counter. Loved being on the deck and enjoyed the fire pit. There was no foosball. I was told it was damaged after I inquired. There is a washer/dryer available which is unusual for a short rental. The outside needs some TLC-especially paint. All in all, a nice place.

Great stay

We enjoyed the New Year 2022 with the family: great cabin for hosting a family with cheers and happiness . We had a great welcome with little goodies and surprises. Nice , cozy and very comfortable for 2-3 families . We loved the Christmas tree and the friendly squirrels running around.

Great cabin and host!

Lovely cabin with a swinging bench and a nice patio to stargaze and watch the sunset. Serenity Cabin is close to all the local activities, but you wouldn't even need to leave when there are so many fun board games, a Foosball table and basketball hoop above the door to provide endless hours of entertainment. Jennifer was very good with communicating and responding to any questions/issues we had. She gave great recommendations on things to do with a little one and the welcome/thank you gift was a very nice touch to start our trip. Hope to return in the winter someday!

QUICK TRIP TO PLAY IN THE SNOW

House had everything we needed and was well equipped for my family with kids ranging from middle school to kindergarten. All the kids loved the over the door basketball hoop, we used the grill and watched the sunset on the back balcony, watched a movie with the wood fireplace crackling, kids did a little sledding in the enclosed backyard. All in all it was a great trip, just wish it would have lasted another day. Thank you Jennifer for being a wonderful host.

Great Escape to Big Bear

This was one of our favorite properties we’ve stayed at. It was secluded from the city of Big Bear & full of nature which is just what we wanted. There were lots of cooking items and that was super helpful as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our time up there & Jennifer was awesome! She even communicated with us after an aftershock occurred! We would definitely stay there again!

Cozy, clean and comfortable

This house was perfect for our family getaway with 2 small kids. the 3 bedrooms worked perfect, and the layout of the house was nice. The house was clean, the heater worked perfect and the house had everything that we needed. We also had great communication with the person renting the house which seems to be hard to find these days.

Good size place with close proximity to the slopes.

There was plenty of space to accommodate all of us including our pooch. Water heated quickly and the heater kept the house toasty. The pack and plays were a nice touch. Would definitely come again.

Great place for a great price!

Had a great time at this cabin. Plenty of room for my family of five and our dogs. We had an issue at first with the heater not working, but called Jennifer and she called around immediately to find someone to come fix it. Jennifer was very pleasant and awesome to work with. I would definitely stay at this cabin again.

this cabin was so amazing! the location of it was so close to all of the fun activities to do, and its such a beautiful view from the balcony. the cabin stayed very warm and it has so much space. everything was awesome!

Best mini vacation

Absolutely lovely spacious cabin. Great availability to sledding and off-roading. Plenty of room for a family of five and then some. Clean and comforting! Well suited for a weekend getaway! Definitely going again! Family loved it!

Adorable relaxing retreat

This cabin was so cute! Came with a couple of girl friends and had a great time. From the moment we walked in we felt right at home :) Unlike a lot of places in Big Bear, the parking at this house was super easy and flat, which is great since I drive a compact. Once we got in the door all the thoughtful touches made our stay really feel like a vacation. The views from the deck were amazing, and there was nothing better then enjoying a glass of wine and watching the sunset over the back porch. They place was very clean and comfortable, and we had zero problems with check in and checkout. I know I will be staying there again on my next trip to big bear!

Peaceful and serene nature setting

I went to Serentity Cabin to relax and recharge my inner self for a few days as a way to separate from normal every day stress. I was so entralled with the quiet and beautiful setting amoung the trees, the sounds of birds and watching the squirrels all in a serene nature setting. I was able to take several peaceful walks along the lake enjoying the ducks and other small animals on a paved path. It also allowed me to greet and interact with many others who were taking in the wonderful day. It met and exceeded my expectations and allowed me to become refreshed and face the everyday life in LA. I look forward to a return stay.

We will definitely stay here again!

Very comfortable with lots of extra amenities like board games, dvds,books, foosball and air hockey etc. The parking area is nice and flat which will be a huge bonus in the winter( no slope to try and drive up when it’s icy). The view from the back patio is outstanding and it was nice to sit and have our morning coffee while overlooking the gorgeous terrain. All the beds are comfortable even the pull out couch bed. This cabin is close enough to town to make it easy to hop down to the store for groceries but far enough away to be private and relaxing “ in the mountains “ feel. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip

Amazing Cabin Getaway

This cabin is perfectly located at the top of the beautiful moonridge neighborhood. The house was perfectly sized to fit our group. With spacious bedrooms, modern updates and fun touches that made the stay all the more enjoyable- foosball, games, and fun activities. There are wonderful hiking trails just a few streets over which made for great morning walks. And located within minutes of the big bear town center- an easy drive to stater bros or Vons to grab all our munchies and beverages. The deck is probably my favorite thing about this house with an amazing with of the treetops of big bear and a cool evening breeze- nothing tops this weekend retreat! While visiting we did a helicopter tour of big bear out of the airport- so fun! I highly recommend and will definitely be staying here again!!

Picturesque, A+ Location for any season, Spacious

We have stayed here 3 times now over the past two years and have only great things to say! The location is perfect for any season with only a 5 min ride to down town, the lake, or ski parking. We have also found great hiking trails one street away. The cabin itself is always clean, very spacious for the whole family including kids and their toys. The back patio is an added bonus for a safe outdoor kid play area and when the kids go to bed we love to light the fireplace to enjoy the romantic atmosphere the cabin offers. Best cabin in Big Bear!

We do our absolute best to provide visitor guides both on our guest website as well as in printed form. We also give directions and tips throughout the house as well during your stay. We also created a youtube channel for any questions during your stay or to watch beforehand. The cabin is also connected with a google home to help with music and to make it a bit more fun.
