Luxury Beachfront Home

Arrive in Sunset Beach and experience 4000’ of this lovely detached, traditional and luxury beachfront home! Located right on the sand with views of the gleaming waters of the Pacific Ocean and Catalina.

Upon entering the smart (electronic) home you will find a spacious open plan great room, with access to the beach deck. There are seating and dining areas plus a well equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances. Through the hall there is a guest bedroom with a queen bed and en-suite bathroom. Also a powder room.

On the 2nd floor there is a tv room with seating for 6 and a 62” LG television. The large master suite with king bed has a 55” Roku television. Both areas have views of the pacific. There is also a laundry room.

The third floor features 2 large bedrooms and a bathroom with views of the pacific and harbor.

Enjoy soft water with the whole house conditioning filter. For your convenience most lighting has Alexa voice control. There is further automation of lighting, heating and fans. Fiber optic internet provides speeds of up to 500 kbps up and down.

Disclosure: For the security of the property, There is a camera overlooking the beach deck and one camera facing towards the street

Very strict HB license! Maximum 8 people allowed on the property including outdoor areas and decks. (Select visitors allowed by prior arrangement.) No parties, no weddings, no events, no exceptions. Violation of this rule will lead to immediate cancellation with no refund.

Beach Friendly

Enjoyed all the wonderful things the location of this property provided. We spotted dolphins everyday of our stay and got to the point where we stopped picking up seashells on our beach walks.It may have just been that the ocean currents were in our favor during our stay, but we found some of the largest seashells we have ever found with the surging high tide coming in. A 9" shell and a 5" fully in tact sea snail shell were the prize finds, among many other shells and treasures.All of our family, including my 80 year old mom, commented on how they enjoyed their beds. The ants are as mentioned on all the communication from the property owner. We found the simple solution was to put everything that didn't go in fridge, in to gallon zip lock bags. That and making sure we thoroughly flushed the sink with water after rinsing the dishes. It is a BEACH property and as such, sand, dirt and creatures, like ants, will inevitably find their way in.Communication from the property manager was perfect. Gave us the information we needed and then let us enjoy our stay.Will definitely consider staying again if/when our plans take us to the beaches of CA.

Great location and place

The house is in a great location right on Sunset Beach. Restaurants, activities and interesting things (yachts at the marina) are a short walk away. Interacting with the property manager was easy. Why I gave the accuracy of the online listing a lower rating was due to the fact that there was a few small beach towels to use and a single beach chair. A few more bath towels would have been nice also. In addition, the rooftop deck was inaccessible and some of the stove burners do not work. The other item I rated lower was the cleanliness of the property due to the fact that the lower level floor would leave your feet and socks black when you walked on it. I recommend having slippers to use inside, but be prepared to have your slipper bottoms black at the end of your stay. Also, we followed the directions of eating food only at the table and kitchen counter (which we cleaned up right after eating), but we had to deal with ants on the lower level floor and kitchen counters during our stay. The place did provide ant spray which we used to control the ants. Overall, a nice place with plenty of room to spread out and plenty of beds and baths. Cannot beat the location and views. Great neighborhood to walk down the beach or greenbelt path.

This is our family’s second trip to this property. The location is absolutely perfect! The house is exactly as described. The beds are very comfy, the kitchen is well supplied with everything you need, and having a washer and dryer was so nice to keep our towels and beach clothes laundered. Working with David was such a pleasure. He was always very responsive to anything I needed. We even had the opportunity to see a group of dolphins up close! I highly recommend this property.

No maintenance

We were overwhelmed with a musty smell upon arrival. We encountered many items in the home that didn’t work and were just neglected over the years. I am a contractor, and everything I know leads to the presence of mold in the house Big time. Lights were blown out, 2 fans shorted out in my daughter’s room and there were ants everywhere. I have many photos of the water damaged walls and baseboard.. this place is way overpriced for the shape of the house. The location is amazing so we just dealt with it. I would be remiss if I didn’t say something for my future VRBO travelers. This home has clearly been a cash cow for many years for the owner with no money put back into the home.

Wonderful Beach Getaway

This was our first time staying in Sunset Beach and it was fantastic. The accommodations were exactly as shown on the website. On-site support to get into the property and answer questions was wonderful and always just a text away. The owner was responsive and all of the furniture and applicances were in great shape. Would gladly stay here again.

Great house in a great location!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property on Sunset Beach. There's nothing like stepping off your patio directly onto the beach. My kids had a blast building sand castles and boogie boarding. The house is nicely equipped and appointed. I loved listening to the waves crash and feeling the ocean breeze from both the master bedroom and while napping on the couch with the sliding doors wide open. Two fun diners are a block away and more restaurants are a short walk across the PCH, along with a nice natural grocery store, Mother's Market. Nicholas was great to work with and was kind enough to mail my watch back to me when I forgot it on the counter. We'd definitely return!

Amazing home in a great location

Our goal was beach and relaxation. This house offers that in a way that isn’t achievable with most places. The property is amazing. Sunset beach is a gem. Slower than Huntington or other hot spots. It’s quiet and peaceful. Some great little restaurants and diners within walking distance. The house is huuuge. Much bigger than the pictures let on. Do not hesitate to rent this property. There were not ants or bugs. The kitchen is fully stocked. Couldn’t have asked for more. Nicholas is also an amazing host. Thank you for everything!

Quality Stay

Overall a quality stay. Communication with Nicholas prior to check in, at check in, and throughout stay was great. He was available and willing to accommodate all requests and was timely. Location of home is fantastic. Direct beach access (to a nice beach), and easy to get to/from home via vehicle. The home is above average and has everything we needed. Overall a good stay - if paying for beach access and location - worth it. If paying for the home, probably over-priced. Overall positive review.

Buyer Beware!

The location is amazing, the place has a lot of potential, however the so called property manager was difficult and non accommodating. Home is infested with ants, every level, every room, even bathrooms. Food left in refrigerator from previous guests, no outside lighting on the deck so unable to enjoy this part after sunset. Cannot control the temperature of home and it was hot, no screens on any windows and main level br has trash cans on side of home, exactly where the only non screen window is. You stay in that room you smell trash the entire time. Jetted tub pictures but doesn't work. Furniture outdated. Kitchen is the best part however the home rule book says to avoid ants don't bring food in or outside the home! No remote for upstairs tv and master tv has a grainy picture and barely watchable. For the money it's not worth it. Property manager wouldn't even respond to any requests to resolve ANY issues. It could be an amazing place, the beach was beautiful and area bars and restaurants were in walking distance.

Loved the view and location. However house had many issues. Many electrical issues with an issues of ants. Hot tub did not work and switches in restrooms did not work. Other then that it was an enjoyable trip.
