This ground floor "bottom" unit dream house built with growing families in mind. Very comfortable queen sized beds and bunk beds This 3 bedroom luxury home sleeps 8 comfortably. Includes Wireless Internet access, flat screen TV, Cable Programming. The ā€œlowerā€ beach level home is a 1200 sq. ft. 3-bedroom with 2-bathrooms with occupancy limit of 8 and offers exclusive use of the beach deck. Sunset Beach sits within a green belt of non-metered overnight public.

Sunset Beach is the most northern portion of Huntington Beach and is a wonderful one-mile long ā€œsmall townā€, with year around events, it is close to many Southern California attractions - but nestled away on a beautiful un-crowded white sandy beach. Its name gives away our secret of breath taking sunsets and views of Catalina Island from these dream homes. Each home is approximately 6 miles from the Huntington Beach pier and just over 1 mile from the Seal Beach pier.

Sunset Beach is a beautiful, cozy beachfront community. It is located just northwest of Huntington Beach (Surf City) in Orange County, California. The two best features of Sunset beach is the fact that it is one of the widest beaches in southern California and the Green Belt that runs parallel to the beach from the northern edge of town to the southern edge of town. The Sunset Beach Green belt is great for walking, exercising or just sitting and enjoying the amazing ocean view. Since the beach is so wide and there are no beach vendors or buildings the sunset looks amazing. Sunset Beach is truly one of Californiaā€™s gems. Typical local entertainment includes romantic beach walks, swimming, surfing, surf-fishing, bicycle riding, sunbathing, reading, relaxing, great restaurants, and just about any other fun activity that one can dream up.

Sunset Beach sits within a green belt of non-metered overnight public parking. There is typically parking all around the home at all times of the year. You can see aerial view of parking by mapping address 16525 S Pacific Ave. Sunset Beach, CA.

The building consists of two individual units which rent separately. The ā€œlowerā€ beach level home is a 1200 sq. ft. 3-bedroom with 2-bathrooms with occupancy limit of 8 and offers exclusive use of the beach deck. The ā€œupperā€ home consists of upper floors 2 & 3, occupancy limit of 12 with 5-bedrooms, 4.5-bathrooms at 3800 sq. ft. and a 3rd floor deck with outdoor fireplace. The garage is attached to the ā€œupperā€ home and is for the exclusive use of the ā€œupperā€ home. Upper home can be found at https://www.vrbo.com/254059ha. Each home has entrances on opposite sides of the building, each home has their own paths to the beach, and their own outdoor showers. The homes do not share any amenities.

We really enjoyed our vacation on the beach. The home had everything that we needed and it was so nice to be able to walk out on the deck and then right into the sand. Our 3 year old granddaughter really enjoyed playing in the sand and in the ocean. The host was very responsive to my questions. We will definitely be back!!

The house is fantastic!The host was kind to let us check in a few hours early which was so helpful as our kids were sick and miserable.The house is right on a gorgeous beach that you can walk out to right from the back of the house. The house could use a few minor updates but it does not take away from the incredible location. It was also impeccably clean. We would definitely stay again!

Lovely view of the sunset. Easy to use kitchen. Good sleeping arrangements. Wish we could have used beach chairs but they were not availableā€¦next time Iā€™ll ask for them to be accessible for our beach days.

Great beach house

Was here during Memorial Day weekend and had minimal people on the beach. The sand was well maintained. Kids loved the waves. Condo was very clean and parking was easy. Would definitely re book

Nice house located right on the water. Close to lots of great areas and plenty of things to do.

Wonderful stay!

My family had a great stay at this home in Sunset Beach. It had all of the amenities that we expected and was a lovely place to stay as part of our trip to Southern California. After spending a few days in a hotel in San Diego, it was very nice to have a proper home with a kitchen and more space. During our stay we enjoyed time on the beach and took a day trip to Disneyland. Everything was very convenient and just as needed!

Toes in the sand

Best part of every day was opening the glass sliders and letting in the ocean breeze. Patio is fabulous, steps to the ocean. Wonderful vacation spot. Hope to stay here again next year. in a great home and neighborhood.

Great location

We enjoyed the house and the beach location. Parking was not an issue. The house had everything we needed and the beds were comfortable, not too soft like many rentals. Showers were hot and had really good water pressure. Internet was reliable and the heat worked quickly. My main suggestion for improvement would be better cutting board and better knives. They were very dull.

Loved our stay on sunset beach! Thank you so much. Had 4 large teen age boys. Didnā€™t realize the bunk beds were so tiny- kinda toddler size. Couldnā€™t really tell that from the pic, but we made do. Would bring an extra air mattress if we booked again. Lovely property

Great location!

We had such a great trip! House is in the perfect location. Walk right out to the beach. Sunset beach is more low key/less crowded than mainstream Huntington Beach which we enjoyed. But itā€™s just a short drive to Huntington is you want to enjoy the beaches and restaurants down there. House was relatively quiet - there is a separate rental above which can be a bit noisy when folks are moving around but it wasnā€™t bad. I would definitely recommend this place!

A real gem ā€” One of the best SoCal on-the-beach homes

This place is great, and we already booked our third consecutive annual stay. Everything is lovely, but the patio on the actual sand is par none. Most beaches I am aware of in SoCal donā€™t have the homes on the sand, but often there is a small path in between (E.g. the Strand in the South Bay). Owners/management are great, too. A real gem...

Right. On. The. Sand. Exactly what we needed: roll out of bed, grab a cup of coffee on the way out the door to the deck and the sand. Walking distance to local bars, brewery, Starbucks, restaurants.

More than I Expected

What a great surprise! The house looked beautiful in the pictures but to see it in person is a whole different perspective. Just beautiful, and roomy and inviting. This home has all the amenities I wanted, there was nothing I needed while I was there that wasn't furnished. I'll definitely be staying again, but next time it will be for a longer period of time.

Great Place but need to fix the amenities

Place was clean and nice but a lot of things did not work, The outdoor grill did not work, The umbrellas for the table outside was broken, vacuum did not work the dishwasher was broken. I would stay there again but they really need to fix the amenities.
