This cozy studio in Caye Caulker is perfect for a solo traveler or a couple who want to spend their time relaxing. Hosts were kind and responsive. However the electricity was going in and out our entire stay, so we didn't have consistent AC and couldn't safely refrigerate food. And water pressure from shower was very low and only hot for about a minute. It seemed like the electric issue was something on the block, but made our stay a little uncomfortable none the less. We still enjoyed ourselves though.

Quaint Stay

The Internet worked well for checking emails and teleconferencing throughout the day as needed. The kitchenette is well stocked for basic use. I used the bikes and hammock daily. Moderate noise throughout the day and evening with traffic outside and temporary construction on property. Overall great stay and would book again!

Great Place And Great Price

Let me tell you, DV Casa was a great place to stay during my visit to Belize. The staff made sure that I had everything I needed and although there was a hammock right outside my door, I had no time to use it. I was busy enjoying the island of Caye Caulker. I felt very secure staying in this fenced in compound with 3 other Cabanas. My friend occupied the connecting one to mine. Each unit comes with a refrigerator, desk or table, dishes, microwave, an iron, a hairdryer, ceiling fan and air conditioning etc., all the comforts of home. I slept very well when I wasn't out on a boat or eating the local delicacies. I could have stayed at an expensive hotel, but why would I when I got all the same necessities. I lived like a local while there which gave me the best experience all while saving tons of money.

Cute Cabana

This cabana has almost all the basics you would need. The location is fantastic, right across from a store for all your needs, bikes were in decent shape, AC worked, shower was hot. I'd stay here again. A few things that would be nice, some beach towels, the doors to the units are hard to open/close and need to be adjusted, having some lounge type chairs or a hammock on the ground would be great. Also, the yard is so large maybe some yard games to play (bocce, lawn darts etc) would be a lot of fun.

The cabana was perfect for me! In a quieter area of town but walking distance to everything. Check-in was easy (though I had trouble getting through the gate as it appears locked). The cabana is nicely decorated and the A/C was a bonus! The rental comes with a free service for helping book any trips you might want to go on which was super easy. It might be considered a bit small for two people with luggage but it was perfect for me.

Perfect home base for redwoods visit

This review was submitted before the home was managed by Vacasa. This is a lovely property; clean, comfortable, nicely equipped and well-decorated. It is small, but perfect for two adults and a teen. The cabin is very private and trees hide nearby homes. The cabin sits on a large lot with a beautiful, big yard. There is a distant ocean view from the front windows, and you can see the ocean by walking out to the end of the property. The cabin is convenient to Highway 101, but we heard no highway noise. Great location for our visit to Redwood National/State Parks, Humboldt State University, Trinidad and Arcata.
