Fantastic, simple accommodations. The Wi-Fi is strong, and both bedrooms have their own AC units. One block off the main strip, right between the ferry terminal, and the Split! Note: the property is fenced in behind a gate, so look for the Vacasa sign.

Convenient location and communicative host

We had a great time staying at this property. It was simple and affordable. Lourdes answered everything we asked for, and gave great recommendations on the island . Everything from the taxi, to the check out process was done with ease.

Really great location! Lovely views of the ocean from the balcony. It is really hard to find a good place for a family of five but this did the trick. Location was great- within two blocks of three different grocery stores, the best breakfast place on the island (Errol’s), two banks and a million snorkeling outfitters. When traveling with kids, having a kitchen is essential for snacks and coffee/happy hours. It’s also close enough to the action that you can easily drop in for a desperate bathroom trip when you don’t want to cope with bar bathrooms. Only mild complaint is the street noise- you get a few hours of quiet between the drunk karaoke and dogs barking which might have been a problem if we had toddlers on strict sleeping regimens. Also we were there at NYE and full moon party at the split so could have been that. Overall, recommend it! Increasingly difficult to find affordable options for families on the island but this hit the mark! Thanks!!

Two nights in Caye Caulker

The room was as advertised, the only issue for us was the presence of persons always in the downstairs area. It would have be nice to have a more private entrance. Aside from that everything was as expected.

Only as a last resort.

The location was good. But the unit/building is an older cement building. Everything in the unit is old. From the sofa to the bed, to the kitchen stove to the toilet. Absolutely no upgrades or modern anything. The place was old but clean. One last comment, when coming down the stairs from the second floor there is a cement bulkhead that’s at about 5’11” and if you’re no conscious or aware of this danger you will hit your head on this obstruction right before you step on the last step. Very dangerous.

We enjoyed going on the roof top to look at the sunrise/sunsets over the sea. Location is a short walk to the beach.

Perfect Location on the Island

The location was perfectly situated on the island between the town and the beach area. It could use some updating and a little sprucing up but worked fine for us and had everything we needed. It was also a plus that there was air conditioning in the bedrooms and the shower had hot water. The sunrises were breathtaking from the rooftop area. We would stay again.
