Renovated Cabin by the Lake!

Thank you Jennifer ~ We value your feedback and are so happy you found Redwood Cabin to suit your needs. It's a wonderful space ~ and the lake!!!

Thank you for your review. I’m sorry to hear the cabin didn’t meet your expectations. I do want to clarify that the game room you mentioned has never been part of this listing — the photos and description have always accurately reflected the property exactly as it is. A week before your arrival, you reached out with concerns about the stairs and shared that you and your guests were 80 years old. I explained the layout, the number of stairs, and the alternate access point, noting that the stairs can be challenging. This information is clearly shown in the listing photos and is repeatedly mentioned in many of our long‑standing 5‑star reviews, which highlight both the layout and the rustic nature of the cabin. It sounds like the cabin’s lakeside setting and multi‑level design may not have been the best match for your group’s accessibility needs and seating preferences. The listing has always been transparent about its size, layout, and features so guests can make an informed decision before booking. While I wish your stay had been a better fit, I appreciate you sharing your feedback.

Thanks so much for submitting a review for Redwood Cabin. We loved having you stay...such a lovely couple! It sounds like the cottage met all of your needs perfectly. We have construction beginning at any moment for an addition to this quaint lake cottage. We will add one extra bedroom, enlarge the existing two bedrooms, and add a bath as well as remodel the kitchen in time. It will be fun to watch the transition unfold! Thanks for staying with us and we look forward to having you back!
