Spend your Cape Cod vacation in sunshine and comfort at this lovely family home in Dennis! You'll have two expansive decks and a gas grill for summer barbecues with your loved ones, a wonderfully private location in a scenic bayside neighborhood, and easy walking access to beautiful sandy beaches!

What's nearby:
This home sits one block from the shores of Cape Cod Bay, within walking distance of the beach and everything else that Dennis has to offer. You'll be half a mile east of Mayflower Beach, just over a mile west of Corporation Beach, and less than two miles east of Chapin Memorial Beach. For those in search of in-town activities, the Cape Cod Museum of Art, the Cape Playhouse, the Dennis Public Market, and a variety of restaurants are all only one mile east.

Perfect for Friends

This house is perfect for a large friend group. The set up is perfect. The bathrooms were clean and the showers had great pressure. We loved sitting out on the deck and playing in the yard. Plenty of linens and towels were provided. The classic 70s style beach house is so fun! Easy walk to beach

Great location

10 min walk to beach. Great layout for two families (4 adults, 3 kids). Rustic furniture (old). What you see is what you get in the pics. Trash barrels had not been emptied when we got there on a Monday. Management took care of it right away.

Great for friend group

This house is set up perfectly for a group of friends or large family. Two bedrooms on the first floor and identical two bedrooms upstairs. Easy walk to beach. Furniture is old style, but we loved it. Clean amenities, beach towels, and a beach umbrella were all appreciated. Trash was very full when we arrived and the back door was wide open. Neither were deal breakers for us, but could be addressed in the future.

Clean and homey!

This house was immaculately clean, affordable in the scheme of cape rentals, and very much as advertised. As others have noted, the decor is very dated and somewhat worn - but serviceable. We found the kitchen well equipped and functional. The grill was a great amenity. The beautiful Mayflower Beach was about a 10 minute walk and would agree with others that it warrants a wagon, or drop off if you have lots of stuff. There didn't seem to be any outdoor furniture except a picnic table - so we did not use the decks or the yard much. This house worked well enough for our family of 4.

Great stay. Awesome location, 10 min walk to one of Cape Cod's best beaches. Was very clean. We realized on the 2nd night, the trash barrels had not been emptied. I contacted property management and the barrels were emptied the next day. Very responsive. The pictures are accurate. Older style and furnishings, but roomy and comfortable for 7 of us - 4 adults, a teen and 2 elementary school kids. Kitchen is stocked with enough if you're resourceful and can improvise. Overall, a fun place to stay if you don't care about luxury but value a clean, well loved space.

Spacious home with great set up for families

This house had everything we needed, including plenty of indoor and out space. The outside decks and shower are excellent, and the indoor table, too, allowed us to sit down together for meals. The set up is excellent with two bedrooms and a bathroom downstairs and another two bedrooms with a bathroom upstairs.

Lots of room, needs updating

This could be a great place but it’s furnished and decorated like a 70s cabin in the woods. The kitchen is very sparsely stocked. It worked for us but definitely didn’t spark any joy.

Cape Cod Wedding

The location of the home was perfect for us.RENTERS there is no air condition in this home. Not one ceiling fan or window unit.This very important fact should be called out in the listing. A separate company manages the property and when I called to inquire and ask for other option was told in an agreement they sent me AC is crossed out. Still waiting for that document.The area rugs are filthy. Our feet and any white socks worm would turn brown.Due to no AC and having windows open the humidity in the house was so high the furniture was damp to sit on.The outside deck needs to be power cleaned as it’s moldy. In addition, if we wanted to sit outside there are no chairs provided, I’ve rented with VRBO many times and have never been so disappointed in a property,

Lacking several “basics”

Toilet paper…. 2 rolls per bathroom for four adults is not enough. Tissues … tissues in any of the four bedrooms. Cable…need more than just “basic.” Sports channels a necessity. Dishwasher pods…only ONE pod for four adults for four nights? Pillows….need more for four adults. Pillows were somewhat “flat” too.

The screens on both the front door and back door are detached from the frame which allows bugs in. The bottom of the screen door in one of the upstairs bedrooms is missing which just leaves it open. The water pressure in the sink is very low which makes it hard to wash dishes, fill water bottles, etc. The deck should probably be power washed because there is a lot of green/algae on it that made it a bit slippery when we were walking with wet feet from the shower/beach. There was only one kitchen knife to use for chopping and it was really dull which made cooking as a group challenging. Additionally, the propane tank provided was empty when we got there so we had to buy a new one.

Great Location, Outdated furnishings, Overpriced

House was a great location, short walk to the beach. The house furnishings and decor is from the 1970’s. The refrigerator door had black mold, we had to clean it but was still there. The kitchen appliances were very old and not in good order. Yard was overgrown with trees which were growing into the house. The outside shower worked on occasion, but the hardware was all rusted out, so we didn’t use it. The mgt company was responsive to our texts, but didn’t really do anything. The trash was full when we checked in on Saturday and was never emptied all week. After many texts to the mgt team, they said the local team would handle it, but nothing was ever done. By Tuesday, there were maggots all over both trash bins, animals were getting in as they were so full the covers wouldn’t close. When we left Saturday the trash was still never emptied and we had to leave all our trash outside. I feel bad for the next people who came in, over two weeks of trash in the driveway. Overall, I feel the price we paid was just for the proximity to the beach, the house was an old, outdated, somewhat clean, place to stay. I would never pay that price for the house again, plenty of better properties in similar range to the beach.

Difficult check in

We did not receive lock box code until we’ll after we were supposed to check in. Communication was very difficult and delayed. The house was extremely hot once we did get inside.

Cape Cod Vacation

A great, well kept house with plenty of space. The owner was very responsive. There is plenty of space to park in front of the house. It is a short walk (less than 1/4 mile) to Cape Cod Bay. A quiet and peaceful neighborhood.

Functional house in a great location. Managerial quality control could improve. There were two burnt out lightbulbs which we replaced. The downstairs bathroom sink drain stopper was broken. Not enough TP in bathrooms for our length of stay. Kitchen sparsely equipped and disorganized.

Clean Property

The property was very clean and was well packed with beach chairs and everything needed for a mini vaca. Vacasa staff went over and beyond answering any questions we had before and during our stay.

Gem hidden away in the lovely trees

The location is excellent in close walking distance to the beach. Thr furnishings are fine and suited us perfectly. Clean linens and towels were appreciated, as were the beach chairs. Listening to the owls at night was fantastic. The house is dated and could do with some owner upkeep /TLC (i.e.: outside shower not working properly without hot water and pitiful water pressure; blocked bathtub drain etc.)

Great place for 3 couples to explore the Cape

The large 4 bedroom house had everything we needed - even swim towels. My sisters and spouses from VT and Oregon and my husband and I had a wonderful 2 days on the Cape and loved it. An added bonus was to watch the female turkey with her 3 chicks in the back yard! We recommend the Fin restaurant for an incredible meal. We played games in the evening at the house and all was terrific.

vacation too short

This house was so comfortable. Incredibly clean, well equipped, check in was easy, and property management was instantly available by phone. Wish we could have stayed longer.
