Relax in the Sierra Nevada mountains in this beautiful 3-bedroom, 2 1/2-bath Sugar Pine cabin rental! Only 3 miles from downtown Twain Harte. This home is over 3000 square feet and sleeps 11 people. It's perfect for your next family gathering with pool table, cocktail game table, two large living areas equipped with 55” surround sound entertainment, fully stocked gourmet kitchen, dining table seats 12 people easily, short walk to Sugar Pine lake (summer), wood stove and gas stoves for those chilly nights, outdoor gas fire pit, large deck for eating and entertaining the whole family. The basement can be a whole separate living area for more than one family with a queen size Murphy bed and a three tier bunk bed for the kids.

Between shooting pool and playing old school video games in the 800 square foot basement, relaxing on the shores of Sugar Pine Lake less than ½ mile away (Memorial Day-Labor Day), Skiing or snowboarding at Dodge Ridge, visiting downtown Twain Harte, golf courses, casinos nearby, there's entertainment for everyone!

When making your reservation request please indicate the number in your party. How many children and ages of children.

If you plan to use the three tiered twin bunk beds in the basement we do not provide linens or pillows for these. Please bring your own sleeping bag/linens and pillows. We do provide linens for all other beds.

You must sign the Sugar Pine Lake agreement in order to use the lake in the summer. There is a $250 dollar fine for any renters breaking these rules.
Sugar Pine Lake is only open for use Memorial Day-Labor Day. There will be a $250 fine to renters that try to access the lake in off season.

One of the best cabins we’ve stayed at. Super cozy and just perfect. Everyone enjoyed it, from playing old school arcade games, to playing pool, to simply relaxing in the livingroom. The kitchen had everything we needed and the window views were beautiful. Our kids already want to plan our next trip. Kelly is an amazing host, very friendly and quick with responding to messages! We will definitely be back!

Our stay was wonderful. Hosts were very welcoming and responsive. Ample parking for our cars. Easy access to the house - I liked that it was a keyless entry. The house was huge! Lots of different hangout/living and dining areas to support a large group of adults (we were a group of 6). The mudroom was also very convenient for storage and prepping for our activities throughout the weekend. Minus one star on cleanliness as the grill was pretty dirty and a few of the liners on the beds had not been washed between guests. FYI no central AC, but we got along fine with the provided fans and there is a window AC unit in the primary bedroom. The access to the private swimming area was a HUGE plus. We sent twice during our stay. We would definitely book again.

Great trip!

The house was perfect for our family. Very spacious, clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. Beautiful views from the window. Quiet neighborhood. My teens enjoyed the pool table and snowboarding close by. We definitely recommend.

Wonderful basecamp!

We come to the area every year and this has been the best home we've stayed at in the area! The place was spacious enough for four adults and 5 busy kids to spread out and now be on top of each other. The layout is great for a group or just a few. So refreshing to have a kitchen that has real pots and pans and cooking utensils. We love the little Sugarpine lake and spent many afternoons there. Great central location for exploring up or down the hill. Grocery store is just a short drive and is well stocked and has an awesome butcher counter and don't miss their great grab an go sushi. Kelly was easy to communicate with and responsive. Wish I was there right now!

Amazing Cabin

This place was amazing. Cliff and Kelly were very communicative leading up to our stay. Our family had 7 adults, 2 children, and an 8 month old baby. The house had everything we needed and we really enjoyed the whole experience. We love Pinecrest and visited the lake but it was also nice utilizing Sugar Pine lake and not having to make the trek up the mountain. We will definitely be staying here again. Loved the summer evenings on the balcony!

Mi Wuk cabin

We recently spent 6 days at Pine Lake Lodge. The cabin was fantastic ; large clean and in a great location . The check in and check out process was easy and host (Kelly) was very helpful and always answered any questions in a timely manner. Our two grandchildren enjoyed the property and nearby lake. We look forward to visiting PINE LAKE LODGE again.

Cabin Bliss

We absolutely love this cabin! It was gorgeous , clean, and had everything we needed. The only thing that would've made it better would be a hot tub (I always look for those in vacation homes). It was centrally located with Twain Harte just a short drive down the road and snow about 20 mins away. The decor was great 👍 and we love the big table for dinners as a family! Kelly was awesome and helped communicate any questions or concerns right away. We definitely want to come back here! Thank you!

The place is beautiful, clean, and had every gadget you could need in the kitchen. We enjoyed our stay and hope to stay again. There was a lot of fun outside the property for my kids and they spend a lot of time out in the snow.

Our 3rd year in a row at the Holiday House’

This is the third year we’ve come to Pine Lake Lodge and it never disappoints! The house is always fully equipped and the kids (two 7 year old girls) are always excited for the “Holiday House)! This has become a tradition for our two families and we all look forward to it every year!

Long weekend getaway

Absolutely loved this home! The owner, Kelly, was very helpful when booking and answered all my questions promptly. It was a great time for our whole family, all eleven of us. The home was beautifully furnished and the kitchen had every thing we needed to cook all the food we brought, even pans for cinnamon rolls. The property was perfect for the kids to do some sledding and we even had some deer come for a visit a few times. We will definitely return.

Thanksgiving 2023

Booking this cabin was an excellent decision! We were a bit apprehensive because it was Thanksgiving weekend and we hoped we wouldn’t forget to pack the kitchen utensils, roasters, etc. that we knew we’d need. To our amazement the kitchen was fully stocked! Also, everyone slept comfortably! Having the bunks in the basement were perfect for the little ones and their parents. Towels were well stocked, soaps, detergent, everything! Will highly recommended this place to friends.

Cliff and I live with our 4 kids in the bay area and wanted to have a place to get away from all the hustle and bustle. We purchased this cabin in 2018 to spend time in the mountains and on the lake. The area has so many things to explore from boating, fishing, swimming, skiing, hiking or just relaxing. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

This is a modern beautiful cabin in the woods but very convenient to amenities. Downtown Twain Harte is just down the road with great restaurants, shops, golf course. Pinecrest Lake and Dodge Ridge Ski resort are just a 25 minute drive away,

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

Our cabin sits right behind Sugar Pine Lake with wonderful views. During the summer months the lake is open for use. There is a beach and swim area with swim platforms. At the cabin, there is a large deck to enjoy the gas fire pit, BBQ and outdoor dining in the warmer months. This is a perfect cabin for multiple families as it has room to sleep plenty of adults and kids. It's a short walk to Alicia's Sugar Shack to get delicious a breakfast or lunch.
