House in Traverse City on all sports lake!

Thank you for your feedback and for choosing our home for your bachelorette getaway. We are glad to hear that check-in was easy and that your group was able to enjoy time at Lake Leelanau. We are, however, sorry that your experience was impacted by the seasonal insects that can occasionally occur in Northern Michigan, particularly on waterfront properties during certain times of the year. Our home has been extensively renovated and is professionally cleaned and maintained between every stay. We take guest concerns seriously and have continued to evaluate and address any opportunities to further minimize insects entering the home. While lakefront properties can experience periods of increased insect activity, we understand that your experience did not meet your expectations. I am very sorry you feel this way. With being on a lake and having a holding tank, sometimes toilets clog. I sent someone out to fix the problem right away. The lawn gets cut on Wednesdays unless it rains and has never been an issue in the past. As for the dog poop, you are correct we do not allow dogs because of this issue in the past so I am sorry you had to deal with this. I am not on property everyday so I cannot make sure other dogs are not on the property at all times. We have only ever had great reviews in the past so I am sorry you had a bad experience.
