Welcome to your retreat on a huge, all sports lake in Traverse City, MI. (Lake Leelanau) The main home has 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths and an optional sleeping area with Murphy Bed. This house has a full kitchen, large family room and amazing sunroom with wet bar that opens up to the lake! The home has a large deck with seating, a dock, and fire pit.
This house has a great location, close to downtown Traverse City and many wineries. We are also very close to the TART biking and hiking trail that runs up and down the peninsula. Enjoy a bike ride, go on a wine tour, eat at great restaurants in downtown Traverse City or Sutton's Bay and don't forget to watch the beautiful sunset from the deck or sunroom as you enjoy your favorite beverage! Home has everything you need including linens, towels, beach towels, full kitchen, and washer and dryer.

Gorgeous Lakeside Retreat

This house was the perfect northern Michigan getaway for a weekend with friends at the lake. The location is great and the house was very comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed out stay.

Lake Leleenau Perfection

We had the most incredible week stay with my family. We had 10ppl total… my husband and I and our three children, their aunt/uncle/cousin and my in-laws. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The location was picture perfect and the house was nicely updated With a well stocked kitchen. Great swimming area off the dock and the mooring ball was perfect to handle our boat. Nine minutes to.Traverse and a 12 min drive to Suttons Bay. We really hope to come back to this location. It was a 10/10!!!

Great week on Lake Leelanau

Enjoyed ready access to the lake from this nice home. Worked well for the teen / early 20 year olds with us. Deck with grill was terrific for lunch and the inside table was great for evening games. Plenty of tvs for everyone to be happy and bathrooms were better than most cottages are! We had a terrific time!

Great space for large group

The property was very nice and large enough to be comfortable for 12 people. House is very clean, updated, and has almost anything you could need as far as cups, plates, cooking utensils, games, etc. Dock was easy to pull boat up to for loading and unloading, but nowhere to tie up other than mooring ball, even for a short amount of time. So, is a minor inconvenience. Overall, my group really enjoyed the property and would consider staying again.

We visited for a girls weekend and the absolute best time staying here! The house was super clean and well maintained. The garage was perfect hang out area and up stairs deck was large enough to fit our group of 10. Everyone also raved about the beds!! Sarah was easy to get ahold of and very responsive as well. We had amazing time, highly recommend and hope to be back next summer!

Family vacation

This house met our family needs from ages 1-69. The setting is very relaxing and quiet. The location was convenient for exploring Old Mission Peninsula, Sleeping Bear Dunes, and downtown Traverse City. Lake Leelanau was perfect for water activities. Would love to return.

Great stay, Great house

This house is awesome. Everything looks new and fresh. It was pretty spacious and had everything to full full our needs. Great Lake view and the downstairs area that opens up to the back yard is awesome, kind of like a bachelor room. I would stay there again.

Newly remodeled retreat

We had an amazing time and definitely will be back! Wonderful location! Clean, very nice home. Owners have thought of absolutely everything you may need in advance. We will be back very soon and rent the small cottage next door with extended family.

Ladies Wine Weekend

Property was amazing! Beautiful and comfortable home with wonderful view, great beds, fully stocked kitchen. Wonderful location for reaching all of the wineries on the Leelanau side. We would definitely recommend.

Spend money elsewhere. This property not worth it.

Outside property is great on the lake but really needed some TLC. Lawn wasn’t cut and the grass was very high. There was dog poop everywhere (and no dogs allowed…hmmm). The inside property was old, hot water worked half the time for showers amd the downstairs toilet was clogged most of the trip. Windows filthy and ants everywhere. For the $$$ I would recommend staying someplace else.

Really Good Getaway Place

The only reason I didn't give this rental 5 stars was communication issues with the home owner. I think we were the first renters of the season, so it needed another once over by the cleaning crew. But if you've spent time on home rental websites, you know in N.MI there are really only 2 kinds of homes - "Your family's old cabin" in a great location but badly in need of renovation or something out of the Hamptons. There aren't a lot of somewhat reasonably priced, lovely, well appointed homes - well, this is that home. The location is perfectly situated 30 min from TC, an hour from Sleeping Bear, &1 mile off the fantastic super kid friendly 17 mile beautifully paved TART Bike Trail (small children may need to walk their bike to the trail). We had River Outfitters deliver a kayak and paddle board for a week rental, which we used every morning (in wet suits, because the water is still very chilly in late June). The lake is clean, gorgeous and surprisingly quiet. Stunning sunsets - and neighbors who invited my 10 yr animal obsessed son to come see his herd of Bison. *** We were only a family of 4, because our friends finally had a chance to head overseas to see family after the Pandemic - so for us, the space was great. Just note, if you're going to share with another family (extended or friends), while there are lots of beds, they are in tight spaces, not a lot of privacy. But if the weather is decent it won't matter... really, it's a great location, very nice house. And really, what's better than being *right on a lake* in MI?? Go July 4th or later if you want to get into the water.

A perfect place for a family getaway

The house was just what we needed. We had 3 kids ranging in age from 3-11 and needed a place we could get the young ones to bed and then hang out and have fun without being far away! The walkout garage door room was perfect for rainy evenings sitting and watching the rain and relaxing and the fire pit outside was perfect to roast marshmallows with. The water is shallow enough at the dock stairs that our 8 year old could easily swim around in the sandy bottom area. Beds were the most comfortable we’ve encountered in a rental place probably ever, and we do a lot of rentals. Kitchen has everything you need including griddle and air fryer, mini fridge and wine fridge in the garage room for adult beverages was very handy as well. Kayaks and Lilly pad for the water were a surprise treat for us and there were plenty of life jackets in all sizes to accommodate everyone we spent 7 days and had an amazing time even when in rained thanks to a large amount of bird games and access to the roku tv to watch a movie! Will book again!!

Great Family Getaway

We traveled with 4 adults and 4 children. House was well appointed and held us all comfortably. Cooked several big meals in the kitchen. Deck, patio and yard are lovely. The "garage" room is excellent and we put the bar to good use. We also rented a boat and kept it at their mooring for the week, which was great.

House on Lake Leelanau

This property is fantastic. We have been renting in the Leelanau Peninsula for 15 years+ . We have stayed in many homes and this home is definitely in the top 5. Our only problem was the bedroom count but we have now realized we can solve that issue by renting the guest house next door. The home was impeccable and very very very clean. If we had to contact the owner our response was alost immediate. Sarah was very helpful and always on point with her responses. We enjoyed our stay and will defintely be back!
