“Wow! We were looking for a beautiful secluded, private house and this place did not disappoint! The scenery was outstanding! If you're an early bird, the sunrises are simply surreal. The hiking from the backyard was fabulous, straight in to the national park. We mainly stayed at the house, only venturing out a few times, because we didn't want to leave our serene oasis in the desert. We cooked most meals at the house. I was very impressed that all the extras were provided, baggies, food wrap, chip clips, spices, coffee, olive oil, honey, sugar, teas, etc. They even provided clothes washing detergent, plenty of paper towels and trash bags. The kitchen was well stocked, all we had to do was get the food items. I have stayed at some Airbnb's that only provided a few things, and you had to go buy a whole container of something you only needed two out of the whole box. The town is not the attraction here, the house and setting is! If you need to recharge yourself this is the place!” —Cara

Guest access:
✹ GENERAL: Guests can enjoy private access to the entire 8-acre estate.
✹ PARKING: Free parking is available for two vehicles in the covered garage. Additional vehicles may be parked in the uncovered driveway. We also have 2 free EV chargers for your convenience.
✹ WORK FROM HOME: There is free, high-speed wifi available throughout the home, plus a designated workspace in the primary bedroom and a comfortable laptop-friendly space in the kitchen.
✹ PETS: Well-behaved pets are welcome.
✹ FILM AND COMMERCIAL PRODUCTION: available on request. Please inquire about rates and availability.

Other Things to Note:
✹ Personalized host greeting to help you access the property and get settled.
✹ Heating for the hot tub and fire pit are included in your booking fee.
✹ Pool heating is available during the cooler season. Please advise us in advance of your arrival if you’d like to make use of it. A supplemental fee of $200 per day is charged, due to high fuel costs in this area.
✹ SkyHouse benefits from a unique location, which grants you walk-on access to miles of stunning hiking trails and mountains in the Desert View Conservation Area of Joshua Tree National Park, completely free of charge.
✹ Guests will be required to sign and agree to our house rules, verify their identity, pay our refundable security deposit, and schedule a phone call with our manager. All steps must be completed in full before check-in.
✹ The High Desert occasionally has power outages due to its rural nature. We are not responsible for any outages of Southern California Edison or any inconvenience such outage may cause. We will notify you of any planned outages and if requested will attempt to accommodate you elsewhere in the event of a planned outage lasting more than 4 hours. But we do not provide refunds or discounts for power outages that are unplanned.
✹ 2 security cameras are positioned on the exterior of the property, for your peace of mind and as required by our insurance. Rest assured, the feed is erased weekly.
