Water frontage on Nancy Lake near Willow Alaska. Indoor plumbing with high end flooring and trim. This is the premier lake in the Matanuska Susitna (Mat-Su) Valley. Enjoy water skiing, swimming, kayaking, jet skiing, and fishing in the summer. In the winter enjoy snowmobiling, ice-skating, cross country skiing, ice fishing, and the northern lights. Awesome mountain views in addition to the lake view from the bluff overlooking the lake. Southern exposure keeps the property out of the shadows. It’s a 800 square-foot downstairs apartment with its own dedicated entrance. There are travertine floors, a double headed shower, and laundry room. Hair dryer available. Kitchenette area with a microwave, sink, George Foreman Grill, coffee maker, and mini refrigerator. There is one double bed, roll-top desk, love seat, double sink vanity, small table with chairs, and wardrobe. Extra queen mattress for the floor available on request for up to 2 extra guests . You have access to the upper deck, lower deck, outdoor grill, outdoor mini refrigerator, dock, pebble beach, porch swing, hot tub, fire pit (bring your own wood), and yard. Hot tub gets winterized in the fall and isn’t available till late spring. This is a great place to stay to check out the famous Iditarod dog sled race which starts in Willow Alaska. Go to Huston’s Founders Days in August just down the Parks Highway. Watch the start of the Iron Dog Snowmobile race in Big Lake Alaska. Do the canoeing portage trail system in the Nancy Lake Rec Area. Salmon fishing at Deshka Landing or Willow Creek. Visit Hatcher Pass via the Hatcher Pass Fishhook Road just down the Parks Highway. Visit Talkeetna for a day trip. Spend a few nights on your way to/from Denali or Fairbanks Alaska. Concrete stairs lead from the apartment down to the lake.
