Central air conditioning will keep you comfortable this summer in this well cared for two story cape home located just .6 mile to Glendon Road Beach. Eat in kitchen and a separate dining room. Hardwood floors and a living room featuring a sea captain's motif. Screened porch and deck overlook a wooded and private back yard. Additional amenities include 2 TV's, cable, WIFI, dishwasher, keurig coffee maker, washer, dryer and microwave. A gas grill and picnic table are provided for your barbeque needs.

Walking distance to seasonal favorites, including the Dog House, Chapins Fish and Chips beach bar, Bandera's, Southside Cantina, What's the Scoop ice cream, Cleat and Anchor, One Stop and the Sailing Cow! There is no shortage of options at this location!

Vacation house stay

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very disappointed upon arrival when numerous branches were scattered in the driveway and a dead rabbit was in the yard. We were told that the tree was going to be cut down...that never happened. They came and removed the branches and cut one branch off the tree. Rugs in the house really need to be cleaned.This is the third year staying here and although they did address concerns regarding the deck, the overall cleanliness is concerning. Ant traps that were put in place last year are still there and as mentioned, the rugs are in tough shape.

Vacation stay at 87 Captain Chase Rd

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A bit disappointed this year for a couple of reasons. First, we had this property last year and when we left, I reported some major safety concerns, one in particular was a major fall risk when the deck in the back yard got wet. Sadly, we did not see any improvement with this situation this year, also experiencing an extremely slippery deck when it rained resulting in a couple of "near falls" for our family.In addition to this problem, upon arrival this year we experienced a significant amount of large black carpenter ants in every room of the house. Thankfully, someone at Martha Murray gave us some ant traps which helped tremendously, but it wasn't a good way to start the vacation.Given the fact that our issues regarding the deck were not taken care of, I would believe that the ants could still be a problem if we rented this house next year. As a result, we wish to find another house for next year that will meet our needs for 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, laundry, air conditioned and an outside shower. Also, I would be wanting to book the first 2 weeks of July.I look forward to hearing from you with some alternative choices for next year.Thank you.

The couch could be updated along with a smart tv. The porch is my favorite place to curl up with a book. We didn’t really use the deck because of all the pine needles and cones that kept falling from the trees. Microwave didn’t work when we got there and when I called the office Tracey came right down and tried a few different things but it didn’t work so she left and brought us a microwave to use for the week. I hope to rent this house every time we visit for a week!!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great! Loved the house. There were however some safety concerns, which I had described to someone already. These included a very slippery deck when raining, a non-secure block of wood in the outdoor shower and rugs in the small bathroom that when wet, were also slippery.Everything else about the house was great!
