This house was in the perfect location, it was clean, and had any sort of amenity we would have needed for our month long trip. We stayed as a family of four, with two kids and two dogs. Any issues we had were promptly taken care of. We also appreciated the bikes and beach chairs!

Instantly felt at home

We had the absolute pleasure of staying at Mark’s incredible Coronado beach house for nearly two months—and we truly didn’t want to leave. Our entire family, including our dog Pumpkin, felt instantly at home. The location couldn’t be better: central island, close to Spreckles park for the kids and within walking distance to Hotel Del and restaurants on both sides of the island. Everything we needed was walkable. The house is thoughtfully arranged to accommodate both relaxation and family fun. From cozy mornings on the patio to lively evenings in the spacious living area, every detail felt designed with comfort in mind. There were plenty of activities to keep our kids entertained, and just as many options for adults to unwind and recharge.What made it especially meaningful was that we stayed here during our home remodel, and this house turned what could’ve been a stressful time into a peaceful retreat. Mark was a gracious and responsive host, and the property exceeded our expectations in every way.Highly recommend for anyone looking for a longer stay or just a luxurious coastal escape—especially if you have a four-legged friend in tow!

Coronado Bliss

This is our second July at this property. The host is easy to work with and remedies issues immediately. The property is well located and well stocked for the stay. We hope to come back again soon.

Beach Cottage

We throughly loved our stay. The home is decorated with a beach theme with high end appliances. Mark was quick to respond to questions. He quickly sent items that needed replacing. He even changed his network provider when his current provider did not offer local stations. The home is located close to the beach, restaurants and grocery store. No need to drive anywhere. Highly recommend!

Wonderful refuge in the Emerald City

We spent a month at the cottage and made tons of great memories. The location is perfect and in the heart of the village. Easy access to the park, library, and not to far from the restaurants. The things we enjoyed most about the house were the location, the smell of fresh flowers from the yard, the office was a huge perk when we tried to work, and that we got to bring our dogs. we had a truly magical June there. Thanks so much!

Home Sweet Home

The house and location were ideal. I stayed a month at the house and had the best of both worlds by working remote and being able to enjoy some downtime in Coronado. This house was ideal for both work and play. It had a quaint studio for my work needs and a house that was comfortable, clean and ideal for making a home away from home. Cute little gated front yard for morning workouts and enjoying coffee along with a garage for storing bikes for quick jaunts to the store, beach or into town for a bite to eat. The location was also perfectly settled in a neighborhood that was in walking distance to Spreckles park to enjoy the Sunday concerts. Ideal home, location and owners were amazing to deal with through the stay. Highly recommend.

Great Place. Great Host

Our family spent a month at Mark's house. He was great throughout the process. The house is well situated near Speckles Park, perfect for our 2.5 year old. The house was clean and well stocked with all the necessities. Highly recommend staying here!

Amazing home!

This property is beautiful with everything you could need. My children and dogs loved the gorgeous front yard, as well as the third floor entertainment room. And Mark was great to communicate with throughout if we needed anything. We can't wait to return!

We love the location, as all sorts of shops and restaurants and a grocery store are in walking distance. The roof fire pit area is also such fun!

Perfect Coronado retreat

We loved this house and plan to return! Simultaneously cozy and spacious. We were a group of four staying here for a month while working and enjoying Coronado, and the house was perfect. It's on a beautiful street, and walking distance to everything. Mark was a great host: responsive and helpful.

Comfort and enjoyment

Enjoyed the property - it was exactly as advertised. Very comfortable and close to beach, bay and restaurants. Hardly used the car. Property was clean, well furnished with a very nice family viewing room on the top floor.

Nice home.

Ideal for a couple or a couple with 1 or 2 children. Probably not ideal if you want to do a lot of entertaining-just not enough space. Decor, appliances, internet, etc. were all great. Good location-centrally located. Well maintained.

Slice of heaven

Perfect COVID escape! The location was so amazing. It's like being in Mayberry USA. Every night a walk and most days we took the dogs to the dog beach nearby. You can walk everywhere for food, shopping, drinks and more. I wish that we didn't have to leave. It was so quiet and peaceful at night and super safe and everyone is out walking around or riding bikes in the evening. It's really lovely. Now I wish I lived in Coronado full time. Love love love

Exceptional

We had an exceptional summer here in beautiful Coronado! Getting away from the extreme heat in Arizona was the first treat, but being in a lovely home with an terrific owner to work with made our 3 months delightful! The house is in a great location, wonderful neighbors, and so very comfortable! 2020 is a crazy year and being on an island With people that support each other and all those who visit was heart warming! We will most definitely be back🥰🥰☀️

Such a Pleasant Stay

What a darling beach cottage that we had the pleasure of enjoying for the month of June. The owner was so kind and always available to answer questions or offer help. Upon arrival everything smelled so fresh and looked so clean. We enjoyed the beautiful, well appointed kitchen for meals. Each bedroom was perfect especially the master with luxurious soaking tub. My husband took full advantage of the awesome office each day to stay connected to his business back home. My boys loved the third floor game room where they enjoyed building their Legos and playing video games. My favorite part of the home was the cute little yard out front where my toddler could play as I sat at the outdoor table and watched. The neighbors were so kind and even shared some of their toys. We will definitely be back!!!

Adorable house in great location!

We had a wonderful vacation in Coronado. The house is exactly as the pictures show. My husband worked a lot while we were there and the office is a perfect place for him to set up all his papers and computers without getting in the way. The gas fireplace was a plus on chilly nights and mornings too! The beds were all very comfortable and the house was clean and updated. The owner was very responsive and answered all questions quickly. The neighbors were friendly too! A great location- we walked everywhere or rode bikes. Great vacation rental!

This experience has been wonderful!

This is an extremely well maintained home. I really enjoyed my time here and look forward to coming again. On the second floor there are three bedrooms and two bathrooms with perfect showers. The beds are extremely comfortable. There are large convenient closets in each room. There is a private theatre and game room on the third floor that's a great place for the kids of all ages! All the fixtures in the kitchen are new and the best. There is a gorgeous large island with seating as well as in the adjacent dining area, which has a table and chairs. Also, there are lovely paintings in all rooms of the house. The living room has a warm, cozy fireplace to enjoy and great furniture. The room has a large picture window, lots of beautiful shelves from floor to ceiling. The home is in a very quiet neighborhood in Coronado.

We currently live in the Sierra mountain range near Lake Tahoe but love to travel to Coronado when our home gets cold cold cold! We are from San Diego and still feel it is "America's Finest City". Well, finest big city anyway! And, of course, Coronado is the best part of San Diego.

Coronado Island is the BEST beach location in Southern California! There are no homeless people, very little crime, fabulous beaches, great shopping and restaurants. Really easy to get around whether you are walking, biking (4 bikes available) or driving (if you feel you must!). List property is in absolutely mint condition with wonderful upgrades. You will not feel like you are in a "rental"!
