This home features gourmet kitchen with stainless Monogram appliances, reverse osmosis water system, private patio with gas BBQ. Listen to the sounds of the nearby crashing surf.
Relax or enjoy an El-fresco meal up on the expansive roof deck dining table with seating for 6 , sectional sofa, fire table and speaker system. In the living room, sit back and relax while watching a movie on the 65" TV or listen to your favorite movie, sports or music on the surround sound entertainment system.

This is the second time we’ve stayed here and we would definitely do it again. The price is reasonable and the place has many benefits. Four bedrooms all with their own bathrooms make it great for couples / adult kids with their partners allowing for enough privacy yet with ample common areas to gather. The upstairs bedroom made for a great office so I could work remotely over the month. Location is great for easy walks to the beach, Hotel Del Coronado and restaurants in the vicinity, and about a mile from the Coronado Ferry Landing and surrounding restaurants. We loved walking everywhere. The large sliding glass doors and windows open up so you can enjoy the beautiful Coronado weather. The rooftop has couch seating and a table for eating plus a large umbrella to block the sun if you want. It’s very pleasant up top. Ed is very responsive to inquiries. We locked ourselves out of one of the bathrooms by mistake and he came by and opened it up. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our time here and plan to return.

The rooftop is comfortable and relaxing
The sunsets off the balcony/patio are colorful

A Month in Coronado!

Spacious light filled, every bedroom had a bath, big kitchen and living room area with open window wall to bring the outside in – plenty of storage and parking-great kitchenette and laundry downstairs. Easy in and out and would definitely do again.

Great location with plenty of room & outdoor space

I spent the month of December on Coronado at Ed's place. His communication was clear and helpful throughout including timely responses when questions arose. The multiple bedrooms allowed for several adults/couples to stay comfortably, each having their own bedroom and private bathroom. I used the upstairs bedroom as an office for remote work during the month, which worked great. The large windows & sliding glass doors allowed us to open up the main living area to the outdoors and enjoy the sunshine and warm weather during the day. We used the balcony frequently to sit outside, have a drink or just relax. We enjoyed the games provided (Clue, Scabble, Monopoly). The location was great...0.3 mile walk to the beach, about 1/2 mile walk to most restaurants and shops, and about 1 mile to the Ferry Landing. Easy walk to Hotel Del Coronado to enjoy their holiday festivities, but far enough away too to avoid the many visitors in town when looking for peace and quiet. I loved walking everywhere while in town. Everyone seemed so friendly. Great place to visit and stay, especially for the price.

California Dreamin'

This place is unbelievable and our stay couldn't have been better! Plenty of room for everyone in this bright and breezy beauty! The kitchen is well appointed and the beds are comfortable. The house was spotless on arrival and we immediately felt right at home. Highly recommend this property for your stay in Coronado! Close to everything but you may never want to leave the house!

Fabulous

Great host, great home and location. The property is as described and very convenient to the beach and Orange Ave (both are a 5 minute walk). Clean and well-appointed throughout with comfortable beds and the welcome luxury of ensuite baths for each bedroom. Idyllic main floor on a warm day with the windows and patio doors open. The host is professional, friendly and responsive. Thanks Ed! We would return in a heartbeat.

Sibling Get Away

Wonderful holiday with 4 siblings enjoying this lovely home. Some of us have been coming to Coronado to escape the Canadian west coast rain for 7-8 years and this was the best accommodation to date. Each well appointed bedroom had an adjoining bathroom and were situated to provide privacy. The kitchen had everything we needed as we tended to eat in most days. The appliances were wonderful including the new fridge shortly after we arrived. The location is perfect--a short walk to shopping on Orange Ave and the beach.

Simply Beautiful!

This home came exactly as advertised! Over the past 20 years we have been coming to Coronado and have stayed in numerous places. I have to say Ed's home is at the top of all the places we have stayed. Its location is perfect for walking to the shopping on Orange and just a short walk to the beach and Del. I love to cook (even on vacation) and the kitchen has everything needed to prepare any meal. the patio just off the great room was perfect for cocktails and the upstairs deck with firepit was the perfect ending to the day with views of the San Diego skyline, sunsets and the bridge. Ed, our host, was available when requested and was very attentive. Take my word (I know you don't even know me) this home is perfect for a stay in Coronado. Like Arnold said....I'll be back!

This is a perfect beach house. Well stocked & well maintained. Great location with short walk to beach or the heart of Coronado. We had an amazing vacation with our family & friends. We would definitely rent here again.

Great stay in a beautiful house. Ed's house is close to everything, in a very quiet neighborhood. We did not need a car, walked everywhere. Friendly owner who was right there after we asked a question about the tv.

California Contemporary Coronado

My wife and I just finished our incredible stay at this home in Coronado. Every aspect of the stay was outstanding. The home is large and spacious, impeccably clean, and with all very new amenities. The location is great with easy access to town and the beach. The owner, Ed Evans, was always easy to reach and helped us through a personal insurance issue. All in all, this is the best VRBO rental bargain for location, size, and intangibles on Coronado Island.

Great location! Nice having 4 full baths!

Loved the house. Only complaint is my family loves to grill and bake and there were no steak knives or caserole dishes. The 2 knives that were there were very dull. Also, even tho the house is pet friendly there was no yard.

What a perfect place to enjoy beautiful Coronado! We had 6 adults— our 2 children and their spouses, and the house offered lots of privacy and en suite bathrooms. Open floor plan, well appointed and a great place to entertain. Our favorite spaces were the side patio and roof deck. This tri-plex feels like being in a tree house. The roof deck is the perfect place to take a nap under the umbrella or to watch a sunset. Great location and easy access to the market, beach and restaurants. Ed is a super host- helpful, friendly and very accommodating. It was a pleasure working with him. This really is a special property and I give it my highest recommendation!

Nice house but..

This house is plenty big and has some great features however a few things to note: 1. Early morning traffic on ninth and olive before 7 am woke us in the master bedroom every weekday morning. 2. Owner has an office in the house that has a separate entrance but that he does work out of during the week. 3. This house is considered a single family home however there is another unit, owned by a separate family, as part of the overall house. These units share walls. 4. Unfortunately this other owner decided to start a remodel during the last two weeks of our stay. This was a huge inconvenience due to ongoing pounding, drilling and metal work occurring throughout the week. We were unable to enjoy the rooftop during the day and had a hard time getting away from the noise. We requested a partial refund and our owner said no. This did not instill goodwill with us as renters.

This beautiful modern home is perfectly located. We could easily walk to the beach, restaurants and shopping. We loved the rooftop deck and gas fire pit. And the beds are very comfortable. Will definitely stay here again in the future.

Even though he was on vacation he responded promptly to any small problems with the TV etc. overall property is a great property for young family. STAIR is difficult for me because I was over 80 at the time.

Great location and great home.

Close to everything from the perspective of adults and teenagers. We had everything we needed and lots of space for a family of 5. Roof deck and hot tub are awesome bonuses.

Best location on Coronado Island

My husband and I have rented several homes through VRBO. This beautiful Coronado Island home is one of our favorites. The location on the island is ideal...walking distance to the beach and Orange Avenue shopping. Our host was super helpful and informative. The property is truly lovely...spacious, full of sunlight and comfortably furnished. I highly recommend this property.

Excellent stay in Coronado

Our family of four had an excellent stay at this home in Coronado. The location is so nice, easy walk of a few blocks to the main strip of stores and restaurants along Orange Ave ("The Henry" was our favorite), just a few blocks to the lovely Coronado beach, and set in a gorgeous neighborhood which my wife and I spent hours strolling through, enjoying the wide spectrum of architecture along each street, all beautifully maintained. The house itself is beautiful and thoughtfully appointed. The beds are very comfortable, the closets and cabinets are spacious, the kitchen is well designed and a delight to work in, the 2nd floor doors and windows all open up to create a wonderfully seamless indoor/outdoor experience up among the branches of the olive trees, and the rooftop deck is a great place to spend time in the evening, watching the sun go down around an inviting fire table. The last thing I don't want to forget to mention: Ed was a spectacular host, giving us our space for full privacy, but was available when we had questions with a very quick response time. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and all wish that we could live there full time. ;) We will definitely be looking to return for a future stay!

High quality accommodations

This property met and exceeded the primary requirements for a great stay. Spotless, excellent bedding in all the bedrooms, and easy communications with the host. The house itself is exceptional, quality construction, unique design features, ( windows are exceptional), top of the line appliances and great safety features such as stair lighting. As stated, it is a tri- level, with the main living area at the top in addition to a great rooftop deck. This arrangement, and the high-ceilings provided us with a feeling of even larger space, and multiple areas for groups or solitude. The location is great. 3 blocks to main beach entrance, and 3 blocks to main area of Orange Avenue. Parking readily available in front of the house. We rarely used the car during our stay. Our visit involved family and friends ages 10 to 80, and all praised the setting. The beach gear was a nice feature and very much appreciated. As stated, Ed was easy to work with and responsive to our requests. We plan to return
