Hedgebound Estate is perfect for your Cape Cod vacation, ideal for a family reunion, gathering of friends, corporate retreat or any special occasion. Our private estate is like no other on Cape Cod and is for those looking for an exceptional vacation destination.

Hedgebound is elegant, charming, and comfortable with incredible detail. The estate is on 2 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds, it offers 8,000 square ft of living space, ample room to stretch out, relax and enjoy.

It has been carefully renovated and updated, combining the warmth and charm of Cape Cod with luxury living.

The kitchen boasts hand-built cabinets, soapstone countertops, massive cook's island with hands-free faucet, six-burner gas Viking stove. Sub-Zero refrigerator and two dishwashers. There is also another full kitchen at one wing of the home, perfect for the caterers as you entertain and enjoy your vacation.

A grand living room and dining room offer a wonderful open floor plan perfect for entertaining. Open and intimate are the cornerstones of design to this wonderful estate.

There are two three season porches which provide the perfect spot to enjoy the spectacular grounds. The home has a built-in sound system. The basement has a large entertainment room/family room with a large screen TV as well as a 750-bottle wine closet. Along with an expanded game area which includes a foosball table and air hockey.

The elegant master suite has double sinks, open double shower, skylights and motorized awning windows. Six of the bedrooms are located in the main house

The carriage house, located in the courtyard, offers convenient and spacious quarters for family and friends. It has a wonderful apartment on the 2nd level with two bedrooms, living room, full bath and partial kitchen.

You'll find yourself enveloped in a Garden of Eden with majestic stone walls, rock gardens, bubbling waterscapes, and endless variety of plants. The central location of the property allows you easy access to both bay and ocean beaches. Truro, much of which is designated National Seashore, is a beautiful and unspoiled destination.

A large beautiful heated pool and hot tub were built on the grounds. There will also be a propane fire pit to enjoy the beautiful evenings.

Truro beaches are amazing, pristine and expansive. Enjoy the ocean beaches with your boogie board or skim board or try the bay side beaches which offer a smooth surf for our younger guest

There is a media and game area, enjoy air hockey and Foosball table along with access to Wii. After a great day at the beach it's a fun way to relax!

Hedgebound of Cape Cod offers the perfect spot for family vacations, reunions, an intimate wedding or corporate retreat.

Hedgebound is available as a vacation rental year round.

During peak season we are weekly, Sunday to Sunday. During shoulder seasons we can accommodate shorter stays.

Please note, we do have limited reviews on this site because most of guests book direct. We offer a 5 star experience and strive to provide our guests with a wonderful and memorable vacation.

Cape Cod Escapades

Hedgebound is absolutely stunning! Every room was well appointed, and the Primary Suite was nicknamed "The Princess Room" because my little granddaughters loved playing there and pretending they were princesses (and my grandsons were the princes). I can see why they thought that! The room was huge, with an equally impressive bathroom and closet! The kitchen is magnificent with a 6 burner Viking stove, large island, butler's pantry with another refridgerator and plenty of dishes, appliances, silverware, and plasticware for the kiddies! And the pool - oh my! Kids wanted to swim for hours every day, which made bedtime a breeze for the parents! Plus we had air hockey tournaments daily in the basement. We had enough dining spaces for all 17 of us at once - although we kept the kids at their own table, which they preferred. Honestly I cannot rave enough about how wonderful this home was! This is the stuff memories are made of!

Perfect Days in Cape Cod

The house is amazing and HUGE. Everything one would need to feel at home Hedgebound delivers. Truro area on the Cape is so quiet and peaceful with 20 min access to P-Town and Welfleet. The value of being at Hedgebound will make your vacation so much more enjoyable. Hedgebound is partially an older home with classic and charming appointments. It’s also has new additions that feel seamless. Photos supplied are accurate.

Amazing vacation home - highly recommend!

The Hedgebound Estate is the perfect vacation home if you're with a group and looking for something upscale on the outer cape. Tons of space, excellent amenities, a gorgeous space and Anna was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. I'd been traveling with a group of 30 and 40-something year-olds from NYC but this could equally suit older crowds and / or families too, and the location is unbeatable. Will certainly be back again soon - thanks again Anna!

Great Property and great property manager

Fantastic property in beautiful setting. If you want rural cape cod with access to national seashore, this the place. The house is of the 1800’s vintage, but the owners have done a great job with modern amenities, such as the updated kitchen, pool, Game room, master suite, etc. Also, spent lots of time in back screened in porch. Property management is very responsive. All in all, a great place to spend the day or use as base time explore the Cape!

Truly Lovely Property!!!

My family and I stayed at this lovely property for a week in mid-June. The house was big and beautiful and clean. The outside was filled with flowers and various places to sit and enjoy the property. My young kids LOVED playing in the pool! And the owner was so kind to keep it at a Nice temperature even on the cooler days. My husband and I enjoyed the screened porch all throughout the day and evening. A lovely addition. Anna was extremely responsive and easy to communicate with. We would absolutely recommend this home to other families!!!

Outstanding property

We used Hedgebound as the base for our 21 member family during a family wedding in Provincetown. The house has 8 bedrooms and an enclosed porch that can ( and did) serve as a ninth bedroom. The old house, shown to the left in the website phone dates to pre-1900 and contains 5 of the bedrooms. The newer part of the house which consists of the dining room, very large well equipped kitchen, master bedroom suite, downstairs game room and enclosed porch was built in the late 2000s. There are two additional bedrooms in the guesthouse. Architecturally, the addition is so well done that until it pointed out, you really aren't aware of the fact that it is an addition. There is an on site manager who provided quick and unobtrusive assistance for the few times we needed any help. The property is very clean and well maintained. There is a playhouse in the large garden behind the house that was a favorite for our 3 yo granddaughter. We were very delighted with Hedgebound. Hedgebound was all we had hoped for and then some.

Awesome Home to Visit

My family and I visited Hedgebound this past weekend (March 17-20) and had an amazing time. There was a total of 20 of us and all fit with plenty of extra room. The home is perfectly laid out for a large family gathering featuring an open layout with an amazing kitchen, sitting area and dining room all connected in the main area of the home. I was able to cook for the group while still being connected to everyone as they sat at the 10’x5’ island and in the adjoining sitting area with a gas fired fireplace. The six burner Viking and huge pantry were great to work with. The kitchen was well stocked with all tools/accessories that were needed to prepare a meal for a large group. We brought an extra plastic banquet table and used the tables there to create a dinner table for 20 – AWESOME. The two dishwashers and two sinks made for easy cleaning! All the beds were super comfortable and linens were included with plenty of extra blankets and pillows. The home is meticulously kept and the grounds are beautiful (even during our March visit). A special shout out to the great caretakers – Steven and Judy. They were there when we needed them, but gave us plenty of privacy. Anna the owner was super easy to work with too. Hedgebound is close to beaches and all the action of P-Town. You DEFINITELY want to visit here – you will love it!

Perfect Wedding on the Perfect Property!

We hosted our wedding ceremony and reception on the property during our four night stay in June of 2013 and I am happy to say we literally had the perfect wedding. This review is centered around those looking at it as a potential wedding venue. For those looking to rent the property for a family vacation or group gathering, I would highly recommend it. Many of the comments below apply to either case. Highlights: - Grounds are beautiful and well kept with a large diversity of flowers and plants. Back garden slopes downhill into the lawn and makes for a very picturesque background for a wedding - The house is charming with modern conveniences. Between the main and guest house, our entire wedding party was able to stay comfortably - We had our ceremony and cocktail hour in the front and reception in the back, we had perfect weather and this plan worked great! - Kitchen area was the main attraction for us, it’s a large open room with a living and dining area and opens up to an enclosed porch. Great room for gathering in - We thought the location was great. It's about 10 miles from Provincetown and near some really great beaches. We booked a block of rooms at a hotel in Ptown and arranged a bus to shuttle guests back and forth. Winds up being an added expense, but made life easy and enjoyable for our guests who loved the whole experience - Owner was flexible with walk throughs and is quick responding to questions Planning Tips: - Parking will be a bit of a challenge. We worked with the local school district to secure parking for the day and they were great - You will need a bathroom trailer on the driveway, which is a short walk slightly uphill from the backyard. Probably only an issue for elderly, but something to keep in mind - Neighbors don't seem to respond well to weddings in the neighborhood. The owners hired a police detail to be proactive, which turned out to be a good idea and all went well - The properties day of wedding cooridinator did a great job for us, just make sure you understand your contract in advance of the event - The owners, understandably, do not want vendors driving all over the backyard, so it's a bit of a logistical challenge to deliver equipment. Our vendors made it all work, my advice is to conduct walkthroughs so they are prepared Hedgebound is a special property that I would highly recommend to those looking for a family vacation or small wedding in the Outer Cape area. Perfect Week for Our Perfect Wedding

We did quite an extensive search trying to find the right place on the Cape where we could have the wedding we wanted - casual elegance, beautiful setting, a place where friends and family could be together, elegant, not stuffy and initmate, we did not want a triple digit guest list. It was tough finding a property which was beautiful and well maintained. Several looked okay but during our visit you could tell they had quite a bit of use and were getting run down. We felt very lucky when we found Hedgebound. We rented the space for the week and had our bridal party join us. We had a very small, low-key rehearsal on Friday night. On Saturday we had a beautiful dinner on the deck overlooking the gardens. It was simple, elegant and everyone had a perfect evening. Hedgebound is a very special place and after our extensive search I'm pretty sure there is no other place like it on the Cape.

Hedgebound pf Cape Code

Cape Cod is a beautful place to visit and this is the ideal location for a family reunion, wedding or girls' getaway. The home and grounds have everything that you would need for one of these events! From a large sloped backyard with beautiful views to a picturesque front yard (especially in the Spring when I was there with all the flowers blooming). The living facilities are unique in their historical character and their modern conveniences. It seems like our every need was thought of and taken care of. The surrounding area provided us with great recreational opportunities - the ocean front to the bay were just minutes away. It was so convenient to get around by car, bicycle or walking. We enjoyed the bicycling and walking on the less travelled roads.

Hedgebound at Cape Cod

This is a beautiful property and exclusive area of the Cape. I loved the privacy of the secluded estate - and yet we were not far from great restaurants and shopping. Great place for a family gathering. Plenty of activities to do to keep all ages happy! We had teenagers and grandparents - so when the weather wasn't perfect - we had fun in the house with the downstairs gameroom. The main house has plenty of room to "spread out' and allow privacy yet large dining room to accomodate family meals. In the past we've rented several places to accomodate everyone - this one location does it all. We'll be back next year.

Fantasy Wedding Week

Hedgebound is a luxurious and majestic property that provided the setting for our small wedding. We got married in the gardens and spent the week enjoying the home. There are so many amenities to the property - our guests were very comfortable and impressed with everything the home offers. We particularly enjoyed having breakfast on the porch looking down into the garden. It was helpful to have the plenty of space for our families to spread out. For our wedding we were able to accommodate our caterers with the catering kitchen and store our wine in the wine cellar. Our nieces and nephews thoroughly enjoyed the play-house in the back garden and the play area in the family room downstairs. The beach is a five minute drive away and home convenient to everything Truro, Wellfleet and Provincetown have to offer.
