Perfect spot for a weekend away from the city

We rented this property for a holiday weekend, and it was the perfect spot for relaxing away from crowds. We enjoyed the views, the full kitchen, and the access to the community amenities. Gwen is super helpful and easy to communicate with. We highly recommend this house as a family rental.

Fabulous Family Time

We loved this house & it provided a great layout that allowed our extended family to gather. Gwen was wonderful to work with & Holly Lake Ranch is really lovely. The location of the house is idyllic & provided an amazing retreat. We will be back!

Relaxing with a great view

The view from the house is amazing and we didn't lack for anything. The hospitality of the owner was one of the best experiences we have had. Our family enjoyed golf, the community pool, fishing and hiking. We were so relaxed. We will be back.

Relaxing family weekend

It was the perfect location for a family getaway. We really enjoyed relaxing on the back porch and watching the deer, swimming at the pool and in the lake, fishing, hiking, playing putt putt and shuffle board, and playing games at the house. We brought food and cooked all our meals at the house so didn't get a chance to check out any of the local restaurants but there were several in the area which looked tasty. We would definitely stay at the house and in that area again!

Much needed getaway

We had a wonderful time at this property. Very relaxing on the back deck and tons of deer to see. There is a sitting room with windows out to the back deck/golf course where I did my work. Close to all of the amenities. Our kids loved the beach area, canoes and paddle boats. We all played a round of golf and came home each evening to relax and cook dinner. Thank you!

Beautiful home on the golf course!

We booked this house to evacuate from Hurricane Ida. The property owner was very helpful and accommodating. The house was very spacious, and we enjoyed the many amenities. We spent time swimming, hiking, paddle boarding and horseback riding. But you really don’t even need to leave the house. We enjoyed grilling and watching the deer as we sat and relaxed on the back patio. Awesome property and will definitely visit again!

Quiet Lake Retreat with plenty of space for entertaining

We stayed at this property as part of a family reunion. Although we spent the bulk of the time at my sisters lake house, the younger adults came back to our house to visit after dinner. The house was very comfortable and relaxing. The property is nestled on the golf course but the deer and other wildlife would flock towards the property during sunrise (early morning) and again at sundown (evening) The host was amazing and very communicative. We will definately be back.

Wonderful Christmas memories

My family lives in Holly Lake Ranch but their homes are small. Several family members drove in from Burleson, Dallas & nearby areas for Christmas Day. This house has a perfect open floorplan for everyone to gather for lunch, opening gifts and football. We were delighted that there was a Christmas tree and other holiday decorations. The host provided everything we needed. We may come back next year! Thank you!

Luxury in Woods

This home is perfection. All the things you hope for & so much more. The view from every window along the back of the home has a perfect view of the golf course. The separate master is truly a retreat. Loved the additional two bedrooms had a hallway privacy door reducing noise from the great room. Chilled bottled water, K-Cups, snacks & logs for the fireplace were all unexpected surprises & so very welcoming. We have a new favorite home away from home. Thanks so much for sharing it with us!!

Peaceful Place To Stay

Holiday Weekend Reunion

We came from Ohio, Georgia, and Texas to spend Labor Day weekend together enjoying Holly Lake, the place our parents used to live. This home is beautiful, and offered everything you could need or want! The natural beauty of the area, great golf, and friendly people made for a perfect long weekend get away. It was made even more special to have the pool, shuffle board, miniature golf, etc available to us! When we return, we will definitely stay here again….the host was great, and her home is wonderful!

Place of Peace

We used the property for family during a funeral for my Mother. The place was peaceful and perfect. Gwen and Rowland were amazing with their communication and service. Would definitely stay here again in better circumstances.

Great stay for large group

great property great location

Holly Lake is a quaint neighborhood in east Texas. Filled with wonderful people and activities. Second time renting this spacious property. The house had everything we needed and more. Linens on the beds are very comfortable. Our family spent time on the outside deck where we enjoyed the beautiful scenery. Host was very responsive and welcoming. My family frequents Holly Lake and will be back to rent this property again.
