Take a swim in your own private 18-meter Swimming Pool, while your smaller children have a bath in the separate children's pool. Enjoy sitting outdoors in the shadow of the arches surrounding the villa or on the sunny terrace offering exceptional views of the Mediterranean Sea.

Your villa is located 400 meters from the shoreline in the quiet Timperosse area of the coastal village of Donnalucata. You can have lunch or dinner just 100 meters from your own doorsteps – at the much acclaimed seafood restaurant “Ristorante al Molo” offering outstanding local seafood dishes (open Tuesdays through Sundays). To the closest beach you will drive or walk 900 meters. The village’s harbour and its centre are 1.5 kilometres away. To fully exploit the attractions of the area, hiring a rental car is recommended.

The villa offers 3 air-conditioned bedrooms, one of them smaller and 3 bathrooms. The master bedroom comes with an integrated bathroom and double bed. The second bedroom has a large double bed. The third smaller bedroom has two single beds, which can be put together. In addition, you’ll find 2 foldable beds, which you unfold at night at your discretion to obtain a maximum of 8 sleeping places. To fit one folding bed in the two bigger bedrooms is possible but will fill them completely. Please note that the kitchen and living room area are not equipped with air conditioning.

Your living room area includes a satellite receiver and a 32-inch flat screen TV. You will find free unlimited Wi-Fi to access the internet. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a dishwasher, and you’ll also find a washing machine.

This villa is surrounded by a beautiful subtropical garden and offers a variety of attractive outdoor areas. However, I would like to also mention that while the view from the front side of the villa towards the sea is splendid, on the back side, it is somewhat affected by the sight of an abandoned construction site.

Donnalucata is located 38 kilometres from the newly built international airport of Comiso, served by Ryanair and Alitalia. You can reach Sicily’s main hub, Catania, served by direct flights from most of the important airports in Europe, by a 90-minutes drive.

Traumhaus auf riesigem Anwesen

Tolle Lage des Hauses, zahlreiche schöne Städte und Strände in der näheren Umgebung. Der riesige Pool mit Sprungbrett ist das Highlight des Hauses. Der Vermieter stellte uns viele wertvolle Tipps bzgl. Ausflüge, Strände und Restaurants zur Verfügung. Der Caretaker Emanuele versorgte uns bei derAnkunft mit einem netten Starterpaket (Brot, Milch, Butter, Wasser, Saft, Bier, etc...) Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden bei einem nächsten Sizilien-Urlaub wieder dort buchen.

Wonderful holiday experience

The villa is really wonderful. Great for a family stay with teenagers. So much space and so many facilities including pizza oven, barbeque, boules court not to mention the wonderful pool. The villa is set off a quiet road around 10 mins walk to the beach and about 15-20 mins stroll into the centre of Donnalucata. Check-in was easy with Emanuele there to meet us and show us round. The wifi was a little temperamental at times (important when you have 2 teenagers!) but pulling out the power plug for a few seconds and restarting (but not resetting) it worked every time. Overall this was a perfect holiday stay and we'd definitely recommend the villa. Donnalucata itself is lovely - fairly quiet, and mainly with Italian families on holiday, some nice restaurants (Mezzaparola was the best by far but you need to book in advance as its always full), the Blue Moon gelato shop (not to be missed) and a supermarket as well as the fresh fish stalls and evening market stalls.

Fint hus med stort bassengområde

Huset ligger rolig og fint til på et høydedrag litt opp fra Donnalucata. Rent og pent med alt man trenger på en ferie. Bassengområdet var fantastisk, med stort hovedbassenget, et barnebasseng og toalett og dusj. Flott utsikt mot havet fra terrasse og delvis bakkeplan. Badene er kanskje noe utdaterte, men fungerer fint. Vakker hage med blomstrende busker og frukttrær. Perfekt for barnefamilier! Vi kommer gjerne tilbake.

Fantastisch!

Wir haben 2 wunderschöne, ruhige und erholsame Wochen auf diesem tollen Grundstück mit Meerblick verbracht. Das Haus, besonders die Küche, ist bestens ausgestattet. In den Betten hatten wir sehr gut geschlafen, ohne Rückenschmerzen, die man sonst schon mal in einem Hotelbett bekommen kann. Bei schlechtem Wetter findet man immer eine Sitzgelegenheit auf der Terrasse, wo dann das Meeresrauschen zu hören ist... Als wir ankamen, wurden wir von Emanuele empfangen, der bereits Lebensmittel für den Start besorgt hatte. Kaffee, Tee, Milch, Brötchen, Marmelade, Butter, Gewürze, Olivenöl u.a. waren vorhanden. Besser geht's nicht! So konnte der Urlaub sofort beginnen. Bei Fragen waren Emanuele und Roman jederzeit erreichbar. Für den Rückflug mussten unsere Bordkarten 1-2 Tage vor dem Abflug ausgedruckt werden. Emanuele hatte sofort vorgeschlagen, dass er sie für uns ausdruckt. Ein toller Service! Donnalucata kann man zu Fuß schnell erreichen, wo man genügend Einkaufsmöglickeiten für Lebensmittel und auch verschiedene Restaurants findet. Im Hotel Aquamarina kann man übrigens auch sehr gut zu vernünftigen Preisen essen. Das Fischlokal neben dem Ferienhaus hatte dann später leider doch geschlossen (Ende Oktober). Wir können die Villa mit Garten, riesigem Pool und Grillplatz nur empfehlen. Sollten wir wieder auf Sizilien unseren Urlaub verbringen, dann in dieser Villa! Lieber Roman und lieber Emanuele, vielen Dank noch einmal für alles. Wir haben uns sehr, sehr wohl gefühlt.

Schönes Haus und Meeresnähe

Ein tolles großes Haus mit wunderschönem Grundstück und Pool. Vor Ort würden wir gut betreut. Zum Meer sind es fünf Minuten zu Fuß und Donnalucata ist ein hübscher Ort mit kleinen Restaurants und Strand. Das Haus benötigt jedoch eine komplette Grundreinigung und diverse Dinge müssen repariert werden...

The house and pool were wonderful. We highly recommend this villa.

The house was comfortable, with three bedrooms and three bathrooms. There were numerous seating areas outside, to enjoy the pool, eat our meals or watch the sunset. The grounds were also very nice. The kitchen was well equipped, and we ate many meals on the patio. Although the house is not on the ocean, the ocean can be seen from the house, and the crashing waves could be heard when the surf was up on our last day. It's possible to walk to restaurants and gelatarias, although a car is necessary to visit other Sicilian cities. Ragusa and Siracusa were easy day trips. The pool was HUGE, and there is a complete pool toilet and shower room, along with an outdoor shower. Pool toys were provided.

Fantastic villa & pool

Just returned from a 10 night stay and loved it! The pool and outside space is amazing and so well looked after. The whole family were in and out of the pool all day every day! We made use of the great bbq area and the kids enjoyed the boules court too! Inside the villa is very clean, large and a great space. Everything you need is included and we found it a great place to be! Emmanuelle was there when we arrived and showed us around and was on call whenever we needed him. He also gave some great tips on places to vsit! Thoroughly enjoyed our time here and are already planning another visit! Highly recommended!

Beautiful villa - peaceful location

The views of the Med are spectacular from the wrap around balcony and the facilities offered are pretty amazing. The pool area is fantastic; BBQ and pizza oven area a great bonus for at home catering, and spoilt for choices of outside eating spaces! Town is a short walk, very charming with a good selection of restaurants and essentials shops. Beach is amazing with gentle slope, clear water and no rocks so great for kids! Altogether a five star holiday!

Absolutely Amazing Villa Holiday

This is an amazing property to rent for a family or group holiday of up to 6 people. The impression on arrival is just magical dominated by the outdoor area with it's enormous pool, outdoor kitchen with BBQ and Pizza oven. There are even 2 sinks along side with plenty of work top space, seats and excellent lighting. There is an Olympic size boules court, parking for half a dozen cars.. an enormous pool.. a children's pool and a separate pool house with a fully fitted bathroom ( And I MEAN fully fitted!). Then the gardens are huge and very well maintained. The villa is obviously built to a very high standard and maintained in the same vein. All of the utensils and kitchen equipment is top notch ... Everything was just "RIGHT". Roman, the owner, was the ultimate professional, emails were answered very promptly right from the very first enquiry to the welcome email the day we arrived.

My family and I (5 people) just returned to Denmark after 2 wonderful weeks in the house of Roman

The house was even more fantastic as the pictures had shown us and both Roman and our daily contact Emanuele provided excellence service to us during our stay. As soon as small issues appeared or we just had some questions they were handled and solved in a professional way. For future guests at Sicilia we would recommend to rent a good car as the roads generally are in a very poor condition. And also be aware that there are only very few foreign tourists in the area and that most of the local Sicilians do not speak English. We found some great beaches near by and drove to many of the villages and bigger cities where we got some very nice experiences. We recommend to spend your next holiday in this beautiful house. Einfach traumhaft

Das Anwesen, Ferienhaus wäre maßlos untertrieben, bietet einfach alles was man sich wünschen kann. Highlight ist natürlich die Poolanlage, inclusive des herrlichen Grillplatzes und der Bocciabahn. Die Aussicht von den Terrassen des Hauses haben wir ebenfalls sehr genossen. Die Ausstattung des Hauses hat alle Wünsche erfüllt. Die Matratzen sind sehr komfortabel und haben für erholsamen Schlaf gesorgt. Emanuele und Herr Mezzasalma haben sich vor und während unseres Urlaubs bestens um uns gekümmert.. Ein perfekter Ort um abzuschalten. Vielen Dank, dass wir unseren Urlaub bei Ihnen verbringen durften Fam. Jungkunz und Freunde

The photos do not do it justice

The villa beat our expectations; the photographs on the website do not do it justice. It is very well equipped and there were things provided so that it was not necessary to buy things like condiments and cleaning products. It is walking distance from the town that has shops, restaurants and good beach. It is easy driving distance to fascinating towns like, Noto, Modica etc. and Montalbano filming locations like Punta Secca and Scicli. But the pool is so inviting one is tempted to stay at the villa and swim. We will be recommending it to our friends.

Wunderschönes und riesieges Anwesen, mit einem sehr großen Pool. Wir habe um absolut wohl gefühlt.

Wir waren 2 Wochen in diesen wunderschönen Anwesen. Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen. Es hat alles gepasst und es war alles wie beschrieben. Es gibt wirklich nichts auszusetzen eher im Gegenteil. Der Pool ist der Hammer ! So groß und so viel Platz für uns alleine. Jeden 2ten Tag wird dieser gereinigt sogar mit Bodenroboter. Nach einer Woche wurden sogar die Betten neu bezogen und die Zimmer und das Bad geputzt ! Was soll Man dazu sagen, einfach klasse Service. Wir hatten einmal ein Problem, dass sich das Eingangstor nicht mehr automatisch öffnete. Ein Anruf bei Emmanuel ( Betreuer vor Ort ) und 15min später war er da. Problem gelöst. Was will man mehr. Das Fischrestaurant oberhalb vom Haus können wir nur empfehlen. Wir können das Haus nur empfehlen, schön und ruhig gelegen, super Poolanlage, großzügige Terrasse zum sitzen und abends essen, alles schnell zu erreichen, Supermarkt, Bäckerei, Restaurant und Eisdiele. Wir möchten uns hiermit nochmals für wunderbaren und erholsamen Tagben bei Roman und Emmanuel bedanken und werden sicher wieder mal diese Villa buchen. Danke Familie Stöcklin und Bühler

A lovely, well appointed villa. Suited all including a lively 2 year old, who just loved the space.

The property is very comfortable and the pool and gardens are lovely. A safe place for little ones. The terraces had fantastic views all round. The pools are very enticing with lovely views. The welcome pack was well stocked with all sorts of things. We were well looked after by Emmanuel, who took us on a tour of his home town, which certainly helped us to find our way around. The village was just a short walk with some great restaurants, ice cream shops and bars. Will return in the future.

Highly recommended!

We had a great holiday in this fab house with balconies galore and wonderful outside spaces including the huge, clean pool. Superbly located to visit the gorgeous baroque towns of Noto, Modica, Ragusa, Scicli, although you do need a car. We visited Siracusa by train from Scicli - a very "Sicilian" experience i.e. disorganised. Siracusa, particularly Ortigia, is amazing Marina di Ragusa is only a few minutes from the house by car. It's a purpose built resort but very pleasant. Excellent all round.

Peace and relaxation in a fantastic setting

The villa is a great size (too big for just the 4 of us- will bring more family next time), comfy clean rooms and bathrooms, good air conditioning in the bedrooms, the rest of the villa was a nice cool haven from the sun too. The outside area is what make this place. The pool is lovely secluded, warm and clean. It's deep enough to swim properly and my 7 year old could just tiptoe on the bottom, with a deep area for the diving board. Whilst my little one would splash for hours on the steps or the little pool. The pool was cleaned regularly over night when we were there and the villa was cleaned and new linin mid stay, no one intruded. The bbq and pizza oven outdoor eating area was fantastic, we ate and cooked out here most nights, long relaxing dinners. The garden had fruit trees so we could have fresh figs and lemons straight from the trees. Amazing views of the town and sea. Nothing better than a coffee and book on the balcony in the morning sun watching the sea before the kids woke. Garden is well kept and beautiful. Kitchen well equipped we didn't want for anything. The surrounding area is very Sicilian, lovely for eating, having a drink with some food, or amazing galato or granitas, beach was gentle shelving for 50-75 meters out, so kids could stand happily and play. The beach space is great, you can easily play football or bat and ball and not worry anyone. No toilets on the beach but if you go to have a galato or coffee they are happy for you to use theirs. You can buy food in town and the market stalls or small supermarket or an easy 5 minute drive to a large supermarket with fantastic deli. Had great communication with the owner and the caretaker emmanuel, with recommendations of where to visit and clear directions to the villa. We drove from Catania, was less that 2 hours and was easy to find. Just take a deep beat with Sicilian driving! Lots of paces to visit locally. Would recommend highly.

Welcoming and comfortable

We stayed here in July, when it was even warmer than usual, as a family of 4 traveling with 2 young children. We were greeted by Emanuel who was very warm and welcoming and made us feel right at home and quickly responded to our text messages throughout our stay. The house is equipped with everything one might need. The house, yard, and pool area is well cared for and very clean, which I always find very important. We enjoyed the pool multiple times every day and enjoyed the outdoor areas where we were able to eat regardless of time of day. From here we were able to make several trips to nearby cities although it was quite hot to be sightseeing, e.g. Ragusa. There are several good restaurants in town and descent beaches in the area.

Great villa with a fantastic pool

We have just had a lovely week at Romans villa. Everything is as described with beautiful views of the sea from the terraces. The pool is huge and well maintained. The location of the villa is perfect to visit the nearby Ragusa and Scicli. We liked to go to Marina da Ragusa in the evening to visit the many restaurants and walk along the seafront. All in all it's a perfect place to spend a holiday
