The mountains are calling and we have the place for you. Come enjoy this beautiful remodeled home with hot tub in the Ashe Lake Community of West Jefferson, NC. Our 3 bedroom home features 2 king beds & 1 queen, two full baths with stand-up showers, a well- stocked kitchen, 2 gas fireplaces, amazing outdoor living areas, & firepit. Enjoy great shopping in town along with many dining options, a brewery, take a drive on the Blue Ridge Pkwy, hike any of the numerous nearby trails, or simply relax! Our remodeled mountain cabin has amazing long range sunrise views from the front of the house and our outdoor living areas. Access to the house is via the main front door which is up a set of wooden stairs leading to our massive porch/outdoor living area and separate elevated hot tub area. Once inside, you’ll find a large living area, kitchen, dining, master bedroom with a king sized bed, and large walk in shower with double shower head all on the main floor. Down a set of cast iron spiral stairs is a mud room entry, a laundry area, full bath, and two more bedrooms, one with a king bed and gas fireplace and the 3rd bedroom has a comfortable queen bed. There are French doors on this level that lead outside for easy access and bringing in luggage, etc. Outside you'll find comfortable chairs and a large charming swing and outdoor covered area for additional outdoor space. A short walk up a path brings you to the cozy outdoor firepit with plenty of seating for smores and drinks by the fire. Please note, during the winter in snow or icy conditions, 4WD or AWD is a must to make it up and down the mountain roads to the cabin. All other seasons and times of year, any vehicle can make it up to the cabin easily. **We host many trips for guests attending weddings in the area and for larger groups, we have another cabin on the same mountain just minutes apart, link to our bio page for our other listing called 'Knotty By Nature' We are nestled near the top of the mountain in the Ashe Lake Community, the only lake in Ashe County just a few miles from historic West Jefferson. This quaint town is home to Christmas tree farms, shopping, rafting, the Ashe Cheese factory, the Church of the Frescos, scenic hiking trails, and many other wonderful adventures. Boone is only 30 minutes away and access to the Blue Ridge Parkway is only 10 minutes away from the cabin. Feel free to contact me via this site with any questions. Once you have reserved a trip, you will be able to text or call me with any questions you might have. We are nestled near the top of a mountain on Ashe Lake, the only lake in Ashe County just a few miles from historic West Jefferson. This quaint town is home to shopping, rafting, the Ashe Cheese factory, the Church of the Frescos, scenic hiking trails, and many other wonderful adventures. Boone is only 25 minutes away and access to the Blue Ridge Parkway is only 10 minutes away. Most of the year, 4WD or AWD is NOT necessary to get up to the house. However, if there is snow or ice, you MUST have 4WD or AWD to get up the final mountain road to the house, but easily done in any vehicle any other time other than snow or icy winter conditions. There is plenty of parking with 2 covered spots under the decking area which also has lights for evening arrivals as well as additional parking in the drive which can easily fit 4 large vehicles. Cell phone maps and GPS will get you to the house, however some cell carriers have spotty service going up the mountain on the final ascent, AT&T is an example, so make sure you have your directions before you head up that last leg. Verizon users will be ok the whole way. Again, please note, during the winter in snow or icy conditions, 4WD or AWD is a must to make it up and down the mountain roads to the cabin. All other seasons and times of year, any vehicle can make it up to the cabin easily.

We enjoyed our night here. There was an unfortunate situation with the neighborhood’s water supply the next morning (beyond the control of our hosts), and Jeremy was immediately responsive to our situation and made sure we were taken care of. Thank you!

Wonderful long weekend stay. Beautiful cabin, well appointed and beautiful view. Convenient to downtown West Jefferson. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Amazing view and extremely comfortable beds…

We loved staying here. It had amazing views and very convenient to locations we wanted to access. Would love to visit when we had a chance to enjoy longer. We were here for my daughter’s wedding. And they were gracious hosts.

Amazing Experience

We stayed for three nights and loved the experience. The sunrise and sunset was amazing and the view was breathtaking. The cabin was beautiful and we were able to relax.

Summer getaway

There were a few issues at check in but Jeremy took care of them promptly. Faster than I was expecting. The location is convenient to downtown and the property is welled cared for. We love staying at this cabin.

Great Wedding Weekend

Fantastic Getaway

The property was in great shape and perfect for rest and relaxation in the mountains. The kitchen was very nicely stocked and a great gas grill on the deck which made fixing meals easy. The owner/property manager was very responsive and easy to deal with. Overall a great experience.

Fantastic Place!

The deck is absolutely amazing - my favorite place and where I spent most of the vacation. The hot tub was sparkling clean and a welcomed relief for weary muscles. The owner was quick to respond to questions and the cabin is obviously well cared for and well stocked. The morning view of the mountains is breathtaking and exactly the “escape” we needed. Thank you for a wonderful vacation.

Beautiful cabin

This cabin was absolutely perfect for what we needed. We stay in West Jefferson a couple times a year and will try to stay in this one from here on out. Location to downtown West Jefferson and boone were great. Cabin was clean and fully stocked. Absolutely zero complaints.

Beautiful

The views of this property brought us here! Their deck is amazing. We could sit out there all day. The kids loved the hot tub. No matter where you sat on the deck or hot tub you had beautiful views.

West Jefferson is known for being a cozy Christmas town with local Christmas Tree farms and Christmas in July festival. Come enjoy our great mountain town and cozy cabin!
