Relax at Lil Moose Cottage at White Lake

Welcome to Lil Moose Cottage. This one story ranch style home was newly renovated in 2016. This house features wide plank pine floors, knotty pine walls, and ceiling fans in all rooms.

When you walk into the home you will be greeted with a large open eat in kitchen that flows right into the living room which has a floor to ceiling stacked stone gas fireplace with flat screen tv, Adirondack style furniture and plenty of light. You are sure to feel right at home. Cable and free WiFi are included.

The home is equipped with a washer and dryer located in the mud room. One full bathroom with a bathtub and linen closet. The kitchen has everything you will need to enjoy your stay, such as pots and pans, corkscrew, griddle and coffee pot, to name a few. There are two bedrooms, one with a queen sized bed and the other with two twin beds that can also be put together to form one king sized bed. The living room also has a queen sized sleeper sofa that is brand new. Both bedrooms have air conditioners and each room has its own thermostat with high efficiency electric baseboards.

Sit around the fire pit at night and take a stroll around the neighborhood. The Lil Moose Cottage is a short walk to the private White Lake and the White Lake Inn bar and restaurant. This house is ideally situated on a flat street and friendly neighborhood which is great for riding your bicycle, taking a run or going for a hike in the many marked trails. White water rafting, boat, kayak and canoe rentals are nearby. Play golf at one of the many courses. Talk a walk to the private soft sand White Lake beach and relax all day with a roped off swimming area. Just 5 minutes from Otter Lake, 10 minutes to Boonville and 15 minutes to Old Forge attractions including, water park, restaurants, museums, shopping, and much, much more.

Bring your bicycles, kayak, canoe, fishing and hiking gear. Experience a true Adirondack Vacation.

SNOWMOBILERS: This house is right next to two trail heads. One being the tracks and one to the trails. Located in White Lake/ Woodgate in between Old Forge and Boonville/ Tug Hill. Driveway is plenty big for your trailer. Tenant rents home from 12/1-4/1 for $4000 and pays utilities.

This home sleeps 6. Lil Moose Cottage has free Wi-Fi and cable is included.

Lil' Moose Cottage is the perfect place to stay near Old Forge! Nestled in a quaint community, it is beautifully updated, has adorable moose decor and is within walking distance to a private beach and tasty restaurant/bar. Moi was a delight to work with and was exceptionally responsive and attentive. Would highly recommend and look forward to returning!

Reunion

Four long time friends who graduated from Plattsburg State in 1966 in nursing had a wonderful time catching up.As 80 year olds we would recommend a non slip bath mat for the tub.We liked the decor with the moose theme. Sometimes we had trouble cooling the house down in the evening. Our host was very helpful.

Great vacation

My family and i had a wonderful stay in Mois place! It was the perfect cozy cottage for us! 4 adults 1 child. Close to the water, we all enjoyed! Quiet atmosphere. But close enough for the Attractions! Already looking into next years stay. Would definitely recommend.

This was are 2nd time booking the little moose cottage and I must say we had an even better time this trip around. This place is very clean and the neighborhood is very quiet. The kids loved the fact they where able to ride their scooters around the neigborhood while we relaxed on the deck. The private beach was perfect, and the whitelake inn had really good food and perfect for the kids. Thanks again, will be booking next year!!!!

A nice cozy place

This property was a quaint little place for me and my family to spend our vacation. It had everything that we needed. It was a comforting quiet place to enjoy our down time. The beach was a short walk away which was nice. Communication with the owner was quick and easy. It was a pleasure working with them. I would definitely recommend this place for your get away!

Amazing Rental

Our family rented this property as we wanted to be in the Adirondack area around Old Forge. This was so perfect as it was right near White Lake and and easy drive to Old Forge, Inlet and other wonderful towns in this area. We were able to take advantage of the lake, local hiking and kayaking and the activities in the quaint towns. The rental process was so easy and the house was amazing. Absolutely beautiful and immaculate and loved by the owners. Way beyond our expectations. It was well stocked with everything you need and directions and suggestions for things to do. The host family was so responsive and communicated from the time we booked thru our vacation I would highly recommend this property and would book this again in an instant. Thank you for a wonderful vacation spot.

Comfortable

Making arrangements to rent was easy. Moi reached out and stayed in touch in case we needed anything. It was well equipped. The neighborhood people were friendly. We enjoyed everything we just missed being closer to the water.

TOP NOTCH RENTAL

Lil' Moose Cottage is the cleanest rental my family has ever rented. The owners have given this house a lot of their love. This rental also knocked it out of the park with convenience in regard to location. We spent time in Old Forge and Inlet for fun and Boonville for our quick shopping needs. Access to the Private Beach area on White Lake is great!! Lots of days spent out and about exploring but a well enjoyed daily return to this Cottage for quiet and comfort. Thank you so much Moi!!! You are also top notch!

Adorable and clean cottage!!!

This cottage was perfect for our family. The cottage itself was tidy and cozy. My kids loved the short walk to a private beach where they played for hours each day. Old forge was just 20 minutes away where we did all of our hiking, shopping and eating. The property manager was sweet and helpful. Super easy check in and check out. Definitely recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a quiet getaway:)

Aamazing Vacation!

This place was spectacular. Myself, wife and three kids had a blast staying here. It was walking distance to an awsome restaurant/bar and 2 beaches. Beaches were groomed and private. The place was so clean and cozy. We will definitely be back again. Thanks for everything!

Perfect cottage near White Lake

Our family had a wonderful stay at Lil' Moose Cottage. The location was ideal, right down the street from White Lake where we had a private beach, and a great jumping off point to go deeper into the Adironacks. The cottage was clean, cute and very cozy. Moi was so helpful and friendly, we will definitely be back for another stay!
