BEACHES & CRITTERS: The beach size in Hawaii varies month to month due to heavy surf, strong currents and tides. Due to Maui’s rural atmosphere you may experience the occasional rooster, as well as harmless geckos. Geckos are friendly, eat insects, and are considered good luck in Hawaii. Please don’t kill them.

IMPORTANT: Although the HOA schedules regular professional pest control services, pests such as ants, roaches and rodents simply cannot be completely controlled in the tropics. Hawaii is located in a tropical climate, and insects, rodents and lizards flourish in this environment. If our guest spot more than the normal expected pests, we always make our best efforts to contact and work with the HOA to minimize your interactions with these pests. Any contact with such pests within or outside the unit does not constitute a breach of this Agreement or give Guest any right to any refund or rental adjustments.

Great resort property!

The property had great pools, decent food and amazing access to beach, restaurants, and walking paths. The room itself was underwhelming (older and not well-equipped). Kaanapali is awesome and Maui is heaven on earth. We paid less than some other places and overall we were happy.

Great Location

We snorkeled right in front of the hotel. It was awesome being able to snorkel and then get in the hot tub/pool. Hotel room for 3 adults and 2 kids comfortable.

Wonderful property

We had a fantastic time and enjoyed our stay at this wonderful property! The location is perfect. The photos depict the property perfectly. Our only concern once we arrived is that you cannot move the twin beds. We stayed with 4 adults and had planned to put the twins together. Great stay overall!

Fantastic Family Stay

You’ll be staying at a resort condo with 4 separate beds to accommodate everyone! He were a family of 5 that enjoyed our week stay and can’t wait to return! Thank you for renting your place out, it was perfect!

The property was beautiful! Nice garden area, pools and jacuzzis! The sandy beach was great.

We loved the property, we like to cook and it looked like several pans were missing. It would have been nice to have a non-stick frying pan as well. Overall the place was very nice.

Great spot for a family of 5

We had a great time. We are a family of 5, so finding a reasonable priced location for us can be tricky. This rental was perfect. We were given a corner unit on the 4th floor. It had 2 bedrooms and a second floor with another tv room and game area . The kitchen had everything we needed. Yes, the units are a little dated, but it was clean and a great location. We did find a few lights we not working in the unit, a sliding closet door did not move, and housekeeping delivered our care package a day late. But none of that would deter us staying here again. The grounds were great and the pools were in great shape. There is beach access, but it is different everyday based on the tides and it is a bit rocky in spots. But If you are going to paddle board or sit in a float, it is everything you need. We swam with the turtles everyday. The views from our room was also great. The balcony was nice to relax in the evening with the breeze. I would suggest some upgrades balcony furniture, but again it was fine for what we needed.

1st Time in Maui

The property and owner were extremely easy to work with. We appreciated the location with ease of travel to all conveniences. We knew the property was on the North end of Kaanapali Beach so the travel distances to other activities was not an issue. We would recommend for anyone who wants to be in a comfortable condo and does not like crowded beaches.

Long beach walkway was great. Pools are very nice. Hawaiian fried rice should be all day, not just breakfast. Excellent front desk customer service. BBQ Grills A . Shuffleboard was a bonus. Rental umbrellas need upgrade-useless for us in breezy conditions. Overall 5 star, great resort. Thanks.

Packing and moving

The place was not what we paid for when VRBO got involved they called property owner and cancelled out stay. They then got us a hotel for the night and supposed to have a place for the fest of our stay. But the next morning said they couldn’t help us. Afters hours on the phone they finally got us another hotel great place. We had to stay in car until late afternoon for 2 days We were then told nothing more they could do.

Amazing stay-very family friendly

I traveled in from Alaska with my 2 young daughters, and our traveling party including my mom and sister from New York. We all had an amazing time, and cannot say enough great things about our stay. It’s conveniently located within walking distance of a local grocery store and small restaurants. If you’re renting a car, you’re a quick drive away from Whalers Village and Front Street in Lahaina, both which offer great shopping and more food options. Even if you don’t have a car rental, the local bus stop is located on the street in front of the resort, still making nearby places fairly accessible. The resort amenities were great-there is several shops at the resort that provide convenience for items you may have forgotten (sunscreen, arm floaties for kids, etc). And the pools! There were two-one that was great for kids, and another that had a great view of the ocean. Check in and out was a breeze, and our rental unit was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. From our balcony, you could see the ocean! Morning coffee out there was a great way to start the day. Thank you Terry for the amazing stay. We hope to come back someday, and will let friends know where we stayed in Maui when they are looking. Thanks again!!!

It was fine.

We gave this place three starts for a few reasons. 1. Sleep: The twin beds are more like cots and were very uncomfortable to sleep in. The pillows were older and very flat; very uncomfortable. 2. Living space: size of the condo was nice and the kitchen was well equipped. However, the furniture was very dated and the couch was well worn. 3. There is no beach. The property has a beautiful ocean front view, but there is no beach. In addition, there is only about 400 yards to walk along the oceanfront path— you cannot get beyond the property along the ocean front. If you are a runner, the only place to run is along the street in front of the hotel. 4. People working there were very kind and helpful. 5. The kids loved the virgin pina coladas served by the pool. 6. The two pools were fine — standard hotel pools that were decorated nicely with local trees and flowers. 7. Proximity to activity is good— a 5 minute drive to Whaler’s Village, a 10 minute drive to Kapalua beach. As long as you have the appropriate expectations you will enjoy the condo.

Beautiful resort

Housekeeping to be desired. Would take dirty towels and not leave clean ones, didn't refill our coffee and creamers, didn't change sheets every 3 days like it said. Very nice when we called, resort was beautiful and very clean. Room only slept 6 booked room for 7 people wanted to charge us more for roll away bed. Disappointed with that.

Great Place to stay

It was a great resort to stay at. Has everything you would need for your stay and was great to be on the beach boardwalk. Grocery store across the road. Pool was a nice temperature and there were always chairs available. Beach out front was very small but a larger beach was a five minute walk away. The only downside was the configuration of beds in the unit for our family. Overall I would definitely stay again. Loved the hula lesson and activities offered by the resort and happy hour at the restaurant finished off the day. Expedia tours offered through the hotel were very good.
