Lake Gaston Waterfront home with boat dock, fire pit, and views

Views, Views, Views!!! We bought this house for the views, and we wanted to make sure they were the focal point of it all. This 2900 sq ft house has space for everyone set on a beautiful 1-acre waterfront lot, plenty of room for yard and lake activities.

Open concept great for multiple families with a separate kids’ space; fun and relaxation for everyone. Fireplaces are wood-burning. The downstairs’ open space has a living area, sleeping area, Ping-Pong table, bathroom, and walkout access to the lake. Downstairs has 2 sets of bunk beds, a separate single bed, and a queen sleeper sofa. All upstairs bedrooms have king beds to make sure everyone’s stay is comfortable. The owner’s suite has an on-suite bath. We care about comfort and know that not all vacation rentals invest in mattresses- we did!

The large sliding doors in the owner’s suite, guest bedroom, and the French doors in the main living area all provide vast views of Lake Gaston. Windows above the kitchen sink have made dish duty less of a chore. The kitchen window allows you to enjoy the water views even while filling the dishwasher or making your morning coffee. The kitchen is fully stocked with any gadget or dish you could need to prepare your favorite meals and a grill to make vacation meals with less mess and clean-up. Invite more to the indoor dining table extends to seat up to 10.

Nestled in a protected cove, you can take in the broad views of the main lake while safely enjoying the water away from busy boat traffic. The shore is a sanded beach with a gradual slope to allow everyone to take part in water fun, no matter their age. Use one of the kayaks, fish from the dock, float on a raft, or jump in the lake to cool off. The end of the dock offers 9ft deep water with access to 20' deep water just a few feet away. It’s all possible 20 feet from the house and within view from the back deck. Have a boat and/or Sea-Doo? No problem. You can store it at the boat dock while you stay. Bluebird Point boat ramp is less than a mile away for convenient watercraft access.

A large expansive deck is accessible from the owner’s suite and a guest room. Appreciate the screened in porch with outdoor seating and dining just through the french doors of the main living area. The entire space is interconnected so everyone can access the lake and outdoors. The deck’s stairs are protected by a dual latch gate to provide safety and ease of mind if little ones are exploring. The perfect lake house experience for all with plenty of parking in the U-shaped driveway.
