Thank you, David! It was a pleasure hosting you at Tranquil Vista for your weekend getaway.

Thank you, James! We really appreciate you choosing Tranquil Vista for your weekend getaway! One of the things we love about our location is being close enough to downtown to enjoy everything the city has to offer, while still having a comfortable place to come back to and unwind. And of course, a little friendly competition around the pool table is always a fun way to spend an evening! It sounds like you had a great mix of exploring the area and relaxing with friends. Thanks again for being wonderful guests. We'd love to welcome you back anytime!

Thank you, Laurie! Getting everyone together for a wedding is such a special occasion, and we love knowing Tranquil Vista was part of those memories. With a group of 14, it's wonderful to hear that everyone had plenty of room to relax and spend time together. Between swimming in the pool, soaking in the hot tub, and playing games, it sounds like there was never a dull moment! Our team puts a lot of care into preparing and stocking the home with the essentials so guests can settle right in and enjoy that "home away from home" feeling. We really appreciate your kind words and for choosing to stay with us. We'd love to welcome your family back anytime!

Thank you, Stephen! We really appreciate you choosing Tranquil Vista for your bachelor weekend! With so many great golf courses in and around Dorr, we love welcoming groups who come to the area for golf trips. We've always felt our home is a great fit for a day on the course followed by an evening of grilling, relaxing in the hot tub, and enjoying time together. We also appreciate you mentioning the nearby neighbors. We're fortunate to be part of a peaceful neighborhood, and we want our guests to enjoy themselves while being respectful of those around us. There's certainly plenty of room to have fun without turning it into a loud party! Thanks so much for being wonderful guests. We'd love to welcome you back anytime!

Thank you, Kelly! Your review gave us such a good laugh, especially the "tippy toes in the kitchen while the grandkids cheered you on" comment! 😂 We love that it became another fun family memory! With a big family and lots of little ones, we know how important it is to have enough space for everyone to spread out, while still having plenty of opportunities to enjoy each other's company. We put a lot of thought into making our home a place where all ages can feel comfortable and have something fun to do, even when Mother Nature doesn't cooperate! It's too bad the rain put a damper on your pizza oven and bonfire plans, but it sounds like your crew found plenty of other ways to keep busy! We really enjoyed hosting your family and appreciate your kind words about our team. Hopefully next time the weather cooperates and you can check a few more things off your list! We'd love to welcome you all back anytime!

Thank you, Julia! It truly means a lot that you chose Tranquil Vista for such a meaningful occasion like your daughter’s wedding. Hosting your group of 12 adults and 3 kids, we’re delighted to hear the home provided plenty of space for everyone to relax and feel comfortable. Thank you, Dan! It was a pleasure hosting your group at Tranquil Vista. For multi-generational getaways like yours, it's always rewarding to hear that different parts of the home could be enjoyed at the same time—from kids making memories in their own spaces to adults relaxing poolside, gathering on the deck, or sharing meals together. It's also great to hear the kitchen was well-equipped for your group's needs, helping make those shared moments even easier. Our team puts a great deal of care into preparing each home to feel like a true home away from home, and we appreciate your recognition of the details that helped make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Thanks Jamie! We get a lot of compliments on the comfort of the beds. A good night's sleep and a good cup of coffee in the morning, are essentials for me to start my day off right. Glad you were able to utilize the kitchen and make some meals with your group.

Thanks, Kim! We love repeat guests - there's no better way to show our efforts are appreciated. Some people that don't realize how centrally located it is are concerned about if there will be enough to do in the area. As you know, many guests choose to stay at the house because there's so much to do! I hope your family keeps coming back year after year!

Happy New Year!

Nicole, we're sorry your experience wasn't 5-stars. Yes, our home is located in a residential neighborhood, but we've only received one other complaint in 5+ years and with over 100 rentals. Blasting music outdoors on a Monday night past quiet hours understandably disturbed the neighbors. Unfortunately, the NoiseAware sensors recommended by Airbnb malfunctioned afterward, which is why we initially contacted you. Once we realized it was a system issue, our property manager and owner felt the right thing to do was reach out directly, apologize, and assure you everything was fine. Guest communication is very important to us. We even assured you that you would still get a 5-star review as a guest since you mentioned your rating was a concern. The detached garage serves as a storage facility, apartment, and former workshop. The "facility manager" has no view of the pool from his apartment. His job is seasonal, and he is pretty much gone during the summer and fall. He only spends a substantial amount of time on the property in the winter. We clearly disclose this in the listing and reiterate it in the welcome email we send a week before check-in. We always strive to provide the perfect "home away from home" experience and have built an excellent track record with all of our guests. As hosts, we ensure transparency by doing our part and clearly outlining all rules in our listings, rental agreements, and welcome emails to prevent issues like this from happening.

Adriana, it was a pleasure to host you and your loved ones at Tranquil Vista. We're thrilled you enjoyed our home to the fullest and hope you'll return soon. If you loved the hot tub during the Winter, you'll absolutely love the pool for the Summer!
