This 3BR/2.5BA Port Aransas Townhome, located in The Commons at Seashell Drive, is the perfect island getaway. The living room serves as the social heart of this two-story home, complete with a new 65” flat-screen Smart TV ( **Please note, must log in with your own account to access Roku.**) and comfortable seating for six in the form of a sofa, a love seat with pull out twin bed sleeper and colorful accent chairs. The open kitchen offers stainless steel appliances, sleek granite countertops, and vibrant turquoise cabinetry. It is fully equipped with a Keurig coffee maker, cookware and utensils for your culinary needs. Gather the group around the dining room table with seating for eight to enjoy a gourmet meal or game night. The home offers three bedrooms (all upstairs) and sleeps 7 total. The master bedroom (BR1) features a King-size bed and a 42” Roku-enabled Smart TV. The en-suite bathroom is a shower/tub combination. The second guest bedroom (BR2) boasts a queen-size bed and a 32” flat-screen Smart TV while the third bedroom (BR3) has a twin-over-twin bunk set with a 32' smart tv as well. These two guest rooms share a bathroom that has a shower only. You can enjoy a day outdoors without ever having to leave the complex by utilizing The Commons' large pool, picnic under a cabana after using one of the conveniently located grills, or just lounging in one of the hammocks. Guest amenities include complimentary Wi-Fi, a private washer/dryer, an outdoor shower and private seating area,and parking for two vehicles. The beach is just a 2-minute drive away. Approximately four blocks from the beach.

The house was great, just the ac unit was out, stayed there with temperature in lower 80’s. They did bring in some portable ac units for our last night. Not a happy camper, thought this place would have offered some sort of refund

Great property for a beach getaway!

We had a great time during our stay, the location was perfect for our needs. The pictures and description were exactly what we got and the community feel was welcoming and friendly. The kitchen had all we needed and the unit was clean and comfortable. We will be back!

Cute bright vacation house.

We had a great trip to the beach. My kids really enjoyed the pool each evening after being at the beach all day. We loved being able to bring our dog and he loved the beach days just as much as the kiddos. This house was decorated with fun bright colors and we enjoyed relaxing in the comfortable living room at night and watching movies. The location was so close to the beach and restaurants that we were able to take our golf cart (rented from the management company) everywhere. The pool area got a little festive at night but everyone was respectful about the 10pm quite time. Extra points for the thoughtful extras like the delivery of our golf cart when I didn’t have another adult driver. Would not hesitate to book this cute house again.

Cute Little Beach House

This little place was just perfect for our weekend getaway to Port Aransas for our family. Loved having three bedrooms and the decor was perfect, and the common areas were comfortable. Everything we needed was in the kitchen. Close to the beaches and Mustang Island State Park. Checkin was easy and my questions were answered promptly. Will definitely return.

Labor Day in Port A

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everyone staying at the commons was very nice. However, this area is more for people who are wanting to socialize and party as opposed to unwind and relax. Everyone was very respectful and music was down my midnight, etc. my only issue with noise was a group staying across from us who ended up in a screaming match on the front porch at 3AM that went well into the early morning 4:45AM. Thankfully it was only 1 night. The next night the family next to us must have been out because the dog barked well until 1Am. I will note I am a very light sleeper so may not have been a huge issue for others. There is an outdoor shower to wash off before you go inside. All furniture was in great condition. Everything was clean. Complaint on the shower and it leaking. Even with shower curtain in (we were extra cautious) it leaked. We cleaned everything up but definitely needs to be addressed. Love that this place was dog friendly and close access to the beach via Sandcastle or 1 beach access! Also close to town which was nice! We could have used more hangers! We did utilize the guest room closet to place our folded items that we couldn’t hang. I was disappointed in the grounds. We did not use the pool. Bring bug spray because they get bad outside at night. I will note we went over Labor Day weekend.

Great Family Get Away

This was a great place for a family getaway. The condo and the complex were clean and we loved the layout around the pool area. The grands could play outside and swim while being in our sight from the porch. Enjoyed it.

Great getaway!

Really loved staying here. It was the perfect place for a beach getaway. I appreciated that house was built for beach guests (cool concrete floors, outdoor shower, etc.). Would definitely book this place again.

Dissapointed in Paradise

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Spent a great deal of time searching for the perfect rental in Port Aransas. After booking a unit at the Commons with lots of natural night, cute decor and very good reviews, we were given a different unit at check in. The unit we were given was not clean, toilet seat was broken, shower leaked and we had to hang fly traps. The unit was also an inside townhome with few windows and dark furniture. When I questioned the rental company, I was told the owners of the unit I originally booked were staying there while their home was being built. The rental agency did not reach out to let me know so that I could have booked something different. They offered a 10% discount after I called them out on it, but they should have been proactive in letting me know. Everyone at the rental agency was very nice, but I don’t feel they handled this properly.

Life in Paradise makes renting easy and affordable. The condos are large and close to beach access. 802 was a beautiful unit.

Everything you need for a big family

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house was perfect for myself my two boys (6 and 8), my cousin and his three boys (6,8, and 12), and my Dad. There was plenty of room for everyone with the help of the sofa bed. Definitely very helpful that it had two full bathrooms upstairs and 1/2 bath downstairs. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots pans utensils plates cups mugs, Tupperware containers you name it. Less than 20 yards from the back patio to the pool, and even closer to a picnic table with bbq pit. If you have the space to bring one from home, I would just in case the place is packed and you have to wait. Also the grill is one of those Park/ Picnic area pits, so pretty small. All of the neighbors were great, music was playing everyone was having a great time, until some party poopers called the cops. You don’t even have to leave the neighborhood to get to the beach. It’s about three blocks down. Overall I really enjoyed this property it was very clean and had everything we needed to make our trip awesome! It did storm really bad, like really bad (May 15th) and the ceiling in the upstairs bedroom bathroom was leaking a bit, but not too bad. I would recommend anyone stay here, and even had several people reach out to me from my social media posts asking me about this property. One last thing, even though this property is located very close to the ferry, I would highly recommend going the longer route, both there and back home, the traffic for the ferry was ridiculous and took up more than one hour on the way home.
