Location, location, location!!---We could walk to the beach, a
short walk to several eating establishments, a fabulous Marina area with all the amenities such as restaurants and shops, and fast accessibility to freeways for all the tourist highlights (Disneyland etc.) !!! The condominium complex is quiet, which we really appreciated. We didn't have time to use the pool, but it's there, a minute from the door, for kids and adults to enjoy. Because of the location, we extended our stay and as a result, met a lot of the neighbors who have become friends that we will stay in contact with---a bonus! Thank you! John & Sandy

'We stayed at this 2 bedroom 2 bath condo in Dana Point....What a pleasant surprise and how wonderful and updated it is. Very central to Dana Point and Pacific Coast Highway #1 and I 5, which can get you anywhere on the Coast. The pool and jacuzzi was highly used most days by us also, and everyone so friendly. At the condo, it is fully equipped with all necessities of 'HOME'. My hubby kept commenting, maybe we should just move in permanently, as it is all equipped. Clean is not the word, but very clean surely is! Again we will come back and enjoy this condo. Break from the heat

We had a wonderful break from the dastardly hot desert. The place is well situated, well equipped, and big enough to accommodate some visitors! The hosts were very responsive and considerate.

Comfortable Condo/ Walking path to beach

We were very comfortable with the furnishings, layout, amenities and location of the condo. The area has easy access to a park, biking/ walk path, and many restaurants and a grocery store within a mile. The host was accessible, responsive to our inquiries and was willing to accommodate our requests. We would be happy to come back to this property.

Fantastic Stay

This apartment is perfect. It is walking distance to the beach via a river walk. The kitchen is well stocked with everything needed for a long stay. The wifi works great if you work from home. The location is perfect distance between San Clemente and Laguna Beach, quick drive. There are smart TVs in the living room and bedroom. We were never too cold/hot- central heating if it is cold, and fans if hot. The showers had good water pressure and never got cold. Dee is very responsive if you have any questions. There were beach chairs and towels which were great for the beach. Parking was easy and the spot is close to the apartment. The patio gets great sun and wifi so it was nice to work outside. I highly recommend staying here!

Nice walk to beach

This cottage was clean , cheerful and well appointed. We both worked on WiFi and did fine. We walked to the beach everyday — you do have to enjoy walking — it is about 3/4 of a mile but very pleasant beach path. We were quite pleased.

Great beach condo

Dee was a very gracious host and addressed all our concerns quickly. She was very accommodating and understanding when we need to extend our stay not one, but three times due to a delay on our renovation project. The condo was vey clean and very nicely appointed . The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of cookware and utensils and she made sure that any issues were looked after expeditiously. Great hosts and I would highly recommend them and their lovely beach condo.

Great location and very clean condo

We really enjoyed our stay here. We loved the part and the trail. In fact, I walked three times every day around the park. It is only 10 minutes walk to the beach as well. The condo is very clean and very quite. The owner is also very nice to allow us to check in early in the morning.

Fantastic location to Dana Point amenities

The condo is in a gated community with nice swimming and hot tub; great walking/bike lane to Doheny State Park and Beach; we also had free access to the tennis and basketball courts next door at the community park; close to grocery store and many restaurants. The budget condo itself could do with some furniture/linen upgrades and general maintenance but is priced accordingly. Two assigned parking lots onsite. Washer/dryer in condo. Great communication with Owner. Unfortunately the nearby train with its horns can be heard late at night and early morning, as well garbage trucks and landscapers are bright and early. But overall, great stay and would recommend to other budget-conscious travellers wanting value for money.

Cozy and close to the beach

This condo has everything needed for a stay by the ocean. Near hiking trail, surfing beach, restaurants and freeway close. Very well appointed, with all the touches for a vacation.

Budget Condo in Great Location

Sunny condo 1/2 mile to the beach and near the harbor. It felt spacious for its size and has a some nice features—washer/dryer, nice TVs, plenty of towels and beach items, pool. The host was responsive. But, the condo felt neglected, with old mismatched furniture, sagging mattress, torn screens, and an odd collection of kitchenware. It is a budget grade condo in a good location.

Winter at Doheny

This location is awesome. Walk to the beach and harbor. Watching the surfers and whales was a daily treat. Close to San Diego and LA. , so day trips were easy to coordinate. Very comfortable and safe feeling the entire time I was here.

Fantastic

We walked to the beach on our first day. Also walked to Doheny Beach for the 4th of July fire works. Condo was very nice. Owner contacted us to make sure we were enjoying the stay. I will be recommending this condo to our friends too.

Great vacation .

We stayed in this condo. Had a good time with the family. Used the beach trail next to the condo to go to the beach and ride the bikes. Went for daily Harbor walks and visited the beach baby to ride our beach bord paddle. We are planning already our next trip to comeback soon. Everything in the conndo as described.

Great Location and Great Owner

Being able to walk to the harbor and the beach made this the perfect place for the young family we brought to town for work and vacation. The owner was immediately responsive and helpful working out logistics. The condo is clean and well stocked. Both bedrooms are of good size. This will always be our first choice.

My husband and I stayed the month of May to attend the Doheny Blues Festival. The location was perfect for a quiet get away. It had all the amenities of home. We were able to bike or walk to the beach and restaurants.

WA State travelers enjoyed getaway

Your condo was the perfect get-away for my husband and myself for the month of February. We used the walking path to the beach nearly everyday ... a great way to avoid traffic and get some exercise. The condo had everything we needed. The enclosed porch allowed us to get some private sun rays, or enjoy a beverage in the shade. The location was ideal for visiting various attractions in Orange County and San Diego, as well as many interesting coastal towns. Costco, grocery stores and restaurants were only a few minutes drive (or walk, if so inclined). We would definitely recommend it to others.

AN UNBEATABLE DEAL

The property is cozy and its location is definitely distinctive. It got all we need for a relaxing and worrisome free vacation. Fully equipped with all you need to feel like at home. Owners are very helpful and saved no efforts in making our stay a memorable one. The area is one of the nicest in Southern California, lots of restaurants, shops and wonderful breezy weather . Dana point harbor and Doheny beach are within walking distance. We all loved this property and plan to revisit .

Cockroach Infestation Not Worth Savings

The property is a nice enough property, but in our stay here is was infested with cockroaches. It had to be fumigated while we were there - and even that did not get rid of the infestation. We contacted the owners who did not satisfactorily resolve the issue. The price is a touch cheaper than other condo's in Dana Point, but not worth it. I would not recommend this property unless you want some extra protein crawling over all your meals and your kids!

We always wanted to be by the beach and the Dana Point Harbor. Doheny Beach State Park has volley ball, BBQ, picnic table, bike rentals so we can enjoy with our family and friends. Dana Point community center next door with activities for the whole family.

We can walk to the beach by using the beach trail next to our condo or just exercise steps from our condo we have the Creek Side Exercise Park, Community Center, Denys, Albertsons,and Costco, and much more. We walk to the Farmers Market on Saturdays.
