Beautiful property with lots of amenities, games, boats, lakeside fire pit, dock- lake access. Great restaurants nearby. Fantastic.

The house is beautiful but the description and pictures hide how dangerous the path is to get down to the lake. Even the steep slope from parking to the front door was an issue with us. If you are traveling with elderly, physically impaired or young kids i would not recommend it. The grass outback for our dogs was not cut in a very long time and was impossible for them to go to the bathroom in it and us pick it up. Tried to reach out to the owner about these issues and was ignored. They could easily make the terrain safer. Also wanted to let him know 3 shelves in the fridge were broken and missing so traveling with a large group and storing in the fridge, good luck! For what you pay, you would expect a 5 star experience all around and we were sadly so disappointed.

Sorry we didn’t meet all your expectations. I did send somebody to cut the grass and they were asked not to cut it at that time. As far as the refrigerator shelves, 2 had just broke and they were re-ordered.

Came here with a group of guys for a fishing trip and had a great time. Awesome well kept house with great amenities especially the really nice pool table and plenty of canoes/paddles/life jackets. Had bad weather unfortunately but still had plenty of stuff to do inside the house with the space. Btw the neighbor is not a happy camper with the parking situation and is verbal about it

The house is great! The common areas on the main floor are huge with lots of space to gather even large groups. Downstairs was good with the game room and a couple of bedrooms.As others have said, there is NO hand soap in the bathrooms. Some of the consumables - dishwasher detergent, paper towels, etc. - were also a little low.We very much enjoyed our stay and we'd stay here again if we have the need or opportunity!

We had a great stay and truly enjoyed the peacefulness and quiet of the area. The cabin had an authentic, cozy cabin feel that made it easy to relax and unplug. Our family and friends all had a wonderful time, and the space was perfect for a calm getaway.We also loved the wildlife décor…especially the moose and deer on the walls. They were very lifelike and really added to the true cabin atmosphere.The only downside for us was the bedding. The mattresses felt very soft…almost like quicksand…and the pillows were pretty deflated, which unfortunately left us with some back discomfort.That said, overall it was a great experience, and with a small upgrade to the beds and pillows, this place would be close to perfect. We’d definitely consider staying again.

Beautiful house, beautiful view

Stayed here for a friends weekend. The house is beautiful, and the view of the lake from the deck is spectacular.

Cleqn beautiful perfect location . We loved it!

This house was amazing! Everything was taken care of: towels , cups , cooking pots and pans . The view was incredible and it held 12 people comfortably . We had so much fun!!!

Overall is a good place to stay

everything is above expectation except the hot water is not stable, sometime it become cold water when taking shower, otherwise we do enjoy it.

Can’t wait to return to Lake Wallenpaupack Lodge

Can’t wait to return To this beautiful weight from home. We had a great time and were very comfortable. It is truly A Lake Wallenpaupack lodge. It is advertised as four bedrooms however the one bedroom is a separated double with Seperate Entrances and an adjoining door.

BEAUTIFUL HOUSE!!!

We had a fantastic time at this beautiful home on Lake Wallenpaupack!! The house is simply amazing!! Plenty of space with an amazing kitchen and gigantic livingroom that we could all hang out in. Views are spectacular!! The owner was very accommodating and was excellent in communicating with me. We will definitely be back!! Thank you for sharing your home with us!!

Great spot for a family vacation

There were 7 adults and 3 children. The place was very accommodating for our group. Nice large kitchen and table for meals. Plenty of space and areas to relax. The dock was in good condition and fairly easy to get to. The location is convenient for having a boat and swimming as there is less boat traffic. It may be a little challenging for some as there is only a rough path down to the dock/water. We did not have trouble parking three cars and a trailer (for 16-foot boat).

A few of my friends and I rented this home for Labor Day weekend. Home was beautiful and very spacious for the 12 of us that stayed. From the large living room upstairs too all the late night games of pool downstairs it was perfect. The dock is great size we were able go fit both our 24 ft boats as well at 4 jet skis all on the dock. Only 2 downsides are the walk from the home to the dock is a pretty steep incline that can be challenging for some. And the road coming into the property is very steep and full of bumps that a small car will definitely struggle with. We all had lifted trucks and it was still a challenge. But overall home is beautiful and could not recommend it enough

Fabulous stay with Grown Children

We really enjoyed our stay. My husband and three grown children vacation together. Family time is precious but having privacy is also important. This home provides both. We had lots of fun in the dock and the deck! John was very attentive and was also very patient with my questions. Dont forget to venture to some of the wineries, Hawley, and promised land State Park.

BEST WINTER GETAWAY EVER!!!

We just returned from this Awesome house. We stayed last year also and enjoyed it so much we rented it 5 weeks straight to go skiing, snow tubing, snowmobiling, and relax with family and friends. The house was always clean throughout our stay. The custom kitchen was fun to cook in. Their was plenty of firewood and the road was plowed every time it snowed. We frequented Skytop Lodge every Sunday for the fabulous brunch buffet 6 miles from the house. John was great and always at our service.

Beautiful location on the lake. The house was ample and spacious for our large family. One small concern was addressed immediately. The host was very easy to contact and quick to respond. Make sure you review the listing prior to booking for provisions that you will need to supply and for parking details. We had a Bald Eagle in the tree out back, and deer in the side yard. Enjoyable stay!

Family vacation

Not enough parking, outdoor has potential but much of the outside area was not mowed. Sewage was overflowing and smelled bad outdoors. Home was very nice and roomy. Hooks for towels in bathrooms would be nice. Trash can liners would have been helpful.

40 degrees in June

Great place. Very clean inside and well kept. Didn't use boats because there were no pa tags on them, didn't want a fine. Pics on site make it seem the neighbors are not close. Glad we were there durring mid week and no one else was. Had a hiccup with the hot water that was taken care of with a response from owner. Overall.......great stay and great place. Definitely recommend.

House on the HILL

Clean nice spacious house but on a killer hill. Great property for younger families with good privacy having bedrooms on all 3 floors, however, the mattresses are terrible. Poor outside maintenance since we paid for our dog and the yard was way over grown, so no yard to play games or to let the dog run. No gas for the grill, we had to run and get some to cook our dinner. No comfort in any of the seating. I was expecting a little more for my money. A few upgrades and this property could have been excellent instead of mediocre.

Sorry you didn’t feel you got enough for your money or just bitter regarding the issue with you not filling pet rules. Lake Wallenpaupack is in a valley which makes most of the lakefront properties somewhat sloped. The grass in front of the house is cut once a week. As far as for the mattresses , most of them were purchased in Bloomingdale’s and happen to be high end. The couch is a 7k Natuzzi from Italy.

We chose the house on the availability of lake vehicles. The pedal boat was not there. When the host was questioned, he said it had sunk and he hadn’t been able to replace it. My son wanted to use the red kayak but it was filled with an ant colony (eggs and all) so he took the larger paddleboard. When he was in the middle of the lake, it took on water. Luckily he had his life jacket on and was able to get Mack to the dock and push the paddleboard back.The path to the lake was treacherous, especially for grandparents in their 70’s. Some steps need to be added.There were cobwebs throughout the house.The propane tank for the grill was empty.The kitchen was well stocked but Teflon pans were chipping and it needs a working exhaust fan.Living and dining areas were large and very accommodating.Beds were fair. Extra pillows would be nice.The laundry facilities were good.Parking was tight.

Sorry about the petal boat however due to the unavailability it was out of my control. There were 2 kayaks and they are stored outside. It there were ants on it a quick rinse would have solved the problem. As far as the paddle board, there were extra plugs near the paddles. I understand when you get older it is more difficult to get up and down from the lake to the house however it is not treacherous. The slope of the property doesn’t even require stairs , plus they are not allowed as per the lake management. I hope overall you had a nice time.
