Beautiful Condo 🌺 with a Stunning Ocean View! 🐳 Kona Reef C-22

Enjoy a beautifully upgraded 1-bedroom condo at the Kona Reef offering all of the comforts you would expect in our island's tropical paradise.
C-22 is located in the desirable C building from which you overlook the pool and the ocean. Many dolphins and whales can be observed from this condo and turtles can be spotted on the lava rocks. The lanai presents you the with the most gorgeous and varying sunsets you can imagine.
Tastefully decorated and remodeled with a walk-in shower, this condo is equipped to make you feel relaxed while you make this 'your home away from home' in Hawaii. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the large and small appliances that you might need if you choose to prepare your own meals. A washer and dryer are inside the unit, as well as air conditioning in both the bedroom and living room. High speed internet (WiFi), and free calling are included at no extra charge.

The private bedroom has a queen bed, and a comfortable queen sleeper bed is in the living room.

Kona Reef is within 1/4 mile of town and offers one- or two-bedroom condominiums.
The complex offers 4 gas grills, covered outdoor eating area, saltwater pool and hot tub. Next door is a white sand beach.
There is an elevator, but stairs are required for access to all units.

Tired, run down property. Many lack of maintenace issues really influnced our stay. This is our fourth time at this property and while we will return to Kona Reef. we will not stay in C22

Great Stay!

We appreciated the location, pool, beach-access, and condo. Everything was as described, and the location made access to the downtown Kona area easy and fun. We would readily stay again.

Great location

This condo had a fantastic location. The condo was simple but adequate. My husband loved the large TV. And our view was wonderful! Our one complaint would be the bed. It was not very comfortable.

Rough start but great place

Trying to check in was terrible. We had no code and could not get anyone on the phone. Kurt, the property manager. Who doesn’t even manage this property, was wonderful and tried to help every way he could. Once in the place was great!

Really nice

This was a great location, up keep of pool and grounds was well cared for. We loved that they had lots a beach equipment for use. Also, the blender was moldy and they replaced it with a new one that same day. Could use an up grade on the bed and USB ports.

Amazing view

Excellent location as a base to explore the whole Island. View from deck is incredible especially at Sunset. Air Con is very cool as they have a split system ok the living room and the bedroom. Granite counters tile floor new appliances. The parking is close by unit with either u/g garage or surface parking. Bbq area has four bbq’s that are high end. Swimming pool and hot tub not crowded. Beautiful sunset on grass in front of pool with lounge chairs.

Wonderful stay, beautiful views, great time

Beautiful condo with fantastic views and sounds of the ocean! We truly enjoyed the lanai and sitting out there to relax. I can't say anything about the pool or hot tub, since we didn't use it, but it looked awesome! I wish the bed was comfier. I wish the bedroom had windows that could be closed. It's weird that the majority of windows I saw at the complex had window slats that were always open. It'd also be nice if the shower had a removeable shower head, and some cooking spray would be a good addition. It was nice to have some extras at the condo, such as boogie boards (which I enjoyed using at the ocean), pool noodles (which came in handy when we practiced snorkeling), beach umbrellas, beach chairs (which we never used), reusable bags, a beach bag, a Brita pitcher to fill waters, a hair dryer, and other random things! Management was great and had the cleaners bring us another roll of toilet paper and a new tissue box since there was only one roll of toilet paper and one tissue in the box - they came the same day I called. We loved having a washer and dryer, and the AC was wonderful! Hawaii is very humid, and can get very hot. The two separate AC wall units were fantastic! The large tv was awesome. The DVD player didn't work (we even tried putting some new batteries in, but the remote wouldn't work still - not a big deal). Super close to downtown restaurants. Easy check-in & check-out process. We are happy that we picked this beautiful condo after lots of research!

Perfect condo for us

We had a small group and did not want to spend a lot on a condo. This place was right on the water, had a great view of the sunset from the balcony, and the door was literally a few steps from where you park in the garage. The location of the property is walking distance to lots of restaurants and shops. Couldn’t ask for a better place, especially for the money. Would definitely go back.

Relaxing and Close to Town

We enjoyed the condo. The view was great, the location to town is awesome we walked every night. The ice maker produces a ton of ice which is nice for the beach. The oven wasn’t working, but we used the toaster oven. The beach chairs are starting to show their age and could be replaced but we were thankful to have something to use. Plenty of beach towels and other towels to use which was nice, would be nice to have a cooler, as other places have. All in all we loved the comfy furniture and the condo and would recommend staying to others.

Condo stay

I was pleased with the condo. The oven wasn't working when we got there but it was fine since it was the stove top that was most needed. The only issue I had was being able to check out later. I had paid extra for the last day to check out early. It was odd that there was no communication between the 3rd party/owner regarding the late check out because I got a reminder text to make sure to check out at 10am and I had to remind them of my late check out. The last day, I went out with my girls to the beach and came back being locked out, I was unhappy that the code had changed when I made sure to communicate my late check out.

Perfection

The view of the ocean was even better than expected! And we could hear the waves crashing and feel the ocean breeze all night. The unit was very clean and nicely appointed. We absolutely loved the location. Easy walk to restaurants and shopping in Kona. Plenty of free parking at the condo. The beach chairs provided were great and used at the little sandy beach right next door. The management company was very responsive. I would definitely recommend C-22!!

Perfect spot

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Kona Reef. Awesome location, excellent facilities, gorgeous view of the sunsets every night and all the other guests/residents were super friendly & respectful. It was very quiet and I slept soundly each night. I would stay there again in a heart beat.

Proximity to the ocean... spectacular!

Every morning we sat on the lanai, drank coffee, and enjoyed the ocean's sights & sounds! Our evenings were enhanced by the person who sounded the conch as the sun set! Rooms were spacious, kitchen & bath clean, and we loved having the laundry in the room! Location, close enough for a comfortable & safe walk into town. Recommendation: add some type of dehumidifier.

Great Location but Undesirable Unit/Property

The location of the property was perfect, close to everything and ocean front. The building/property was ok, but could use a new paint job preferably white. It just looked old/outdated, like i was in the 1980's. Unit C22 had very outdated/old furniture. the walls need new fresh paint. The popcorn ceilings were ugly/dirty. The glass shower door/enclosure had severe hard water deposits. Overall it was a dreary boring unit.
