Fun getaway during a difficult time

SUPER CLEAN - Property is not brand new, but you don't notice because of the great surroundings - pool was heated and amazing - common areas were enjoyed by all.

Amazing place!

Fantastic weekend - very clean, spacious. Kids enjoyed the pool, pool table, and upstairs area where they could have their own space. In fact, kids asked “can we just move here?” That just about says it all!

Great Spot

This is a great property, we really enjoyed our stay. The only hiccup was that the listing on VRBO had the location pinpointed as Burnet, when the property is actually at the Log Country Cove. Not far though, so it all worked out.

Christmas get away

Only had issues one day. And of course you can't control the weather. Make sure you ask about paying for the propane if you want the pool heated out side of summer days. It was a very nice get away for Christmas

We all walked through the front door amazed by the cleanliness and layout of the house. The pool was definitely a needed amenity while being in Texas. This is definitely a cabin we plan to book again.

Overall the stay was pleasant but we had trouble with water pressure and then no water for several hrs. The issue was resolved and an adjustment was made to our bill to our satisfaction

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property is large and spacious,but it is showing signs minimal upkeep! All the furnishings are old and need updating. Several of the drains and toilets do not work well; especially upstairs. The deck has multiple screws that are not flush and can cause serious injuries. For the price, I expected better quality.

The management should pay attention to the small things. The TV's don't work. The sheets don't fit the beds. Extra blankets would have been nice. Needs a pantry. The home is beautiful.

Most of the time, it is a simple fix, like input change etc. We typically have some extra blankets stored away in the home. The versatility allowed us to spend time together at the cabin enjoying the pool, outdoor activitives and meals together. The commons was close enough to take a picnic over and spend time with all the amenities there. We spent time on the boat, in the lake, on the rope swing, and at the playgrounds--beautiful setting! The property delivered everything the description listed, and any questions were answered quickly! We are excited to make this our annual family vacation and can't wait to go back next year!

Before Back To School Escape!

Not Bad, Not Amazing

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It wasn't bad. In fact, the cabin itself was very nice. But that's the thing, for as nice as it was overall and as expensive as it was I wouldn't have expected some of the small issues we had like:- Rusted, broken and sharp dishwasher tray broken parts- Shower heads clogged and not working- Minor/inexpensive things falling apart in a very nice/expensive cabinOver all the host was very responsive and addressed our concerns and the stay was good.

Lots of potential

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great space. Great communication, but the house and it’s bedding, towels were tired and worn. The kitchen did not have adequate dishes for the number guests allowed. The scariest thing was the pool deck. It is borderline dangerous.

Cindy: I am so very sorry for the issues that you experienced at the Heroes Hideaway. We will for sure make sure the kitchenware is updated as well as the linens.
