Nestled in the woods on Ski Hill Road, Gold Camp Gold Pan Condo is just minutes from the Peak 8 base area and Historic Downtown Breckenridge on the free shuttle route. It’s been nicely updated with chic, modern furniture and lots of nice touches. You and your group will love it!

Please Note: Fireplace is inoperable.

This 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom condo is a great choice for up to seven guests. The living area is bright and spacious, with plenty of seating and a large wall-mounted flat-screen TV for catching the game or your favorite shows. There’s a fully equipped kitchen with a huge bar that seats eight. You’ll also enjoy the deck off the living area for kicking back after a big day on the slopes or letting the mountain breeze flow through the condo.

Other amenities include complimentary Wi-Fi, central laundry facilities, shared hot tubs and a private ski locker. And like every Summit Mountain Rentals property, this home comes stocked with plenty of linens, towels and hotel-like toiletries, and is professionally cleaned and inspected before each arrival. Our helpful staff is also available 24 hours a day to ensure you have everything you need to make your stay with us an unforgettable experience.

I had a wonderful stay at this apartment. It was beautiful, very clean, and had all the appliances I needed. The place was comfortable and perfect for a relaxing vacation. We really enjoyed our time here. Highly recommended!

Lovely condo and we were comfortable during our stay.

Some suggestions: - fix the heater issue - give directions to the condo and where the staircases are located. Ours was through an unmarked door and we walked around a long time to find the condo. Other than that, it was a lovely condo and we had a great time there.

Vent over stove was broken, front left burner on stove was broken, light was out over stove, the bathroom vent fan was broken, there was a leak under kitchen sink that needs attention ( I think it was from dishwasher connection). We loved the place though - good location and very comfortable.

Perfect Location

I took my teenage son and two of his friends to snowboard for three days. We needed a condo with at least two bedrooms. We had stayed in Gold Camp before so I was looking in that area. Gold Camp really is the perfect location. Walking distance to Peak 8 and right on the shuttle route that run constantly during the day. It's the perfect combination of location and value in my opinion. This is a bit of an older unit, but in good shape. The master bedroom is great. And the second bedroom has a twin over full bunk bed with an additional twin mattress under the full. Not a fancy trundle bed situation but we were happy to have it and all the boys had their own bed. Bathroom is fine and it's nice to have two sinks/vanities when you only have one bathroom. Kitchen had everything we needed and the long island counter was fun to sit at while we ate. Balcony is nice to have as well. This unit is on the top floor, which we liked. But if you aren't interested in climbing the stairs constantly, you might want to look elsewhere. I believe you can also walk down the street and join 4 O'Clock ski run but we didn't do that this time. Started and ended at Peak 8 every day. Overall a great stay for the price and we'd come back.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is in a great location, but the unit itself is very outdated as are the amenities. The freezer smelled like fish had been stored there for far too long and we weren't able to use the freezer or ice cubes (everything tasted like fish). The internet went out and although customer service had been very responsive up until that point, went dark and couldn't help or troubleshoot to get things working.

Upon entering the first bedroom there was a Chex cracker on the floor indicating to me that the rental will not be the cleanest. I was right. Dishes with dried food still on them, all cooking utensils were plastic and falling apart, pans so scratched up making it unsafe to cook in . One the the orange bar chairs was so wobbly and unstable I almost fell off. Also, No CURTAINS!! No privacy at all! I had the luck of sleeping in the living room on the couch and you see everybody business as well as anybody can see what you’re up to as well. Minor but worth mentioning the dirt and grim on base boards in bathrooms. Be Prepared for scorching hot bedrooms so open window as indicated by company. The Bunk beds unstable, wobbly and loud. Vent/light above stove doesn’t work. Take advantage of free shuttle into town, definitely a miserable walk. Also no games of any sort to play on the downtimes.☹️

Perfect Location but okay stay overall

The check-in process wasn’t ideal especially if you do not have a rental car but luckily we had one. You had to go downtown in order to get keys rather than just going to your condo. When we checked in, the rental agency forgot the hot tub key. The first few days the hot tubs were inoperable due to cleaning and closed rather early the days they were open. The shuttle service timing was completely off and only had one or two shuttles operating. The rental unit is very outdated. The pots and pans were old and used and not great for cooking. One of the burners on the stove did not work at all. Some of the basics for traveling were not included in the stay. The condo was very very hot and hard to sleep in. The rental unit was not the cleanest especially for the cleaning fee guests pay. The guest bedroom did not have a tv and the side table was very wobbly and the least bit useful. The master bed was very uncomfortable. The good thing about this unit was it’s close proximity to peak 8. This unit overall was okay…a good place to sleep at night with no extras.

Not as good as the pictures

The owner did not allow the management company to handle the initial reservations so my family did not get the cancellation policy that you normally get. Then they tried to charge me a late payment fee when they had my cc info. Checking in was a hassle but ended up ok. The condo was definitely not cleaned but straightened up…this particular condos stove burners don’t all work and could use another shower head because it’s pressure was lacking though the water was hot, so that was good. The property company was nice and location was good but I’d never rent this condo ever again.

Updated older unit, fine for Vaca.

This is an updated older unit in an older building. It has its quirks like all rentals do but I certainly enjoyed my stay there in Breck and I liked the somewhat different layout of this place. Just don’t expect perfect modern luxury but the price point reflects that. Checking in in downtown Breck first is not ideal given the absolute mayhem called downtown Breck but this is not unique to this property.

Nicely decorated, but older building with challenges

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit has recently been redecorated which is nice and fresh. However the building is older and had some challenges. The unit was not well maintained with several items broken. The heating was not consistent. The bedrooms were hot at night - to the point that we could not sleep through the night. There was also an intermittent tapping noise in the bedroom master wall that would wake us up as well. The kitchen appliances and bathrooms could use some updating. The bunk beds in the second room, while practical, were not stable and my youngest child was scared to sleep in the bed that swayed back-and-forth at each movement. I did like the wall of pegs for hanging clothes/ coats and the carpet was new. The location was great for nordic skiing and accessing the ski resort.

Peak 8 one stop from base

Nice quiet place with large open space for 3-6 guests, top floor was great. Halfway between mountain base and village. Only minus was some of the electrical was not working, but not worth a demerit. Laundry nearby must bring quarters from a bank.

Great place to ski Breckenridge

Easy check in even after hours. Only complaint is that the bed in the master bedroom is pretty uncomfortable. There were only two of us and the master Ned was so uncomfortable to the point that we both slept in the bunk bed room rather than have our own rooms. The apartment is on the 3rd story so it’s a bit of a haste to walk up and down, but not a deal breaker at all At the end of the day, this is a great place to stay

Excellent!!

We enjoyed very much staying at the apartment. The only downside we found out when we arrived it was on the third floor and no elevato. If you are planning on bringing lot of luggages take that to consideration. Everything else was as described on the website. The apartment location is very close to downtown. Lots of nice restaurants. Lots of places Nature place to visit less then 30 minutes driving. For grocery shopping I would consider Walmart at Frisco or Safeway. The stores in town are little round down and there are not much quality on fresh groceries. We will definitely come back to Breckenridge.

Great family space

Everything was clean and kitchen had everything you could need for preparing meals. Great stay. Beautiful area.
