Relax at this oceanfront home with a gorgeous sunrise view and pelicans flying just out of reach. Recently updated for your comfort and convenience, this home features all-new flooring throughout, painting in most rooms, new dining chairs, upgraded WiFi, and a new dresser, clothes hooks, and a new coffee table and chairs in the loft.

Relax indoors and enjoy ample entertainment, as there is a TV in every room, and when hunger strikes, prepare your favorite meals in the well-equipped kitchen. Outdoors, you'll discover a great deck and a private outdoor shower with hot and cold water. This family-friendly home is ready-made for a Gulf Coast family reunion or a fantastic group getaway.

Located in the Spanish Grant subdivision on the west end and direct beach access points, you will be an incredibly short walk to the beach. Moody Gardens is only six miles away for family entertainment and fun, and you will also be close to the Pleasure Pier.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the ā€œDamage Waiverā€). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Location was perfect just steps to the beach. The rooms had more space than the pictures appeared to have which was great. Plenty of dishes and utensils supplied. Just needs some refreshing and updating. Beds were not comfortable at all. They provided lawn chairs but were super rusty so I suggest bringing your own. I would stay here again for sure would just bring chairs and mattress toppers

We had great time. Little crowded with 10 people sharing 2 baths. View was great and access to beach was perfect. Lots of beach toys for the kids.

We [mom, dad, several children] recommend this home, period. Pricing is exorbitant, though probably comparable to the market: it is after all ON the beach & during peak season. Some note lack of updates: we have no problem with it being basically an early ā€˜70s museum; kind of interesting being so different from our own home. Could there be things to improve? Yes. Mgmt should address the following, but if they donā€™t, thenā€¦KITCHEN: bring your own cutting boards & knives; bring your own can opener [both the electric &manual ones were already broken]; bring dishwasher detergent [There was a ā€œstarter kitā€ for the dishwasher, but for only one use]. LAUNDRY: bring your own clothes washer detergent. Other similar rentals we have experienced in the past provided these, so this was a bit of an inconvenience to us. Again, previous places provided ample. BATHROOMS: could have used a bit more towel supply; toilet paper was ample but horribly cheap, especially in light of the rental price.AC: very cold, definitely appreciated; Kitchen has a very large counter, great for family, big groups. Lots of beds.WIFI: strong signal.Location is superb: only 10-15 minute drive to the main island action, but far away enough to have lots of privacy time and space on the beach; Ideal and far more ā€œfamily-friendly location. We definitely recommend this place, would stay here again. Itā€™s expensive & could use more supplies especially in context of the high price, but we give it thumbs-up

Great views...Ok home

This home has great beach access and view, which is pretty important in a beach vacation. The home itself was fine. May be better for a couple and children. Not enough toilet paper, lol. The biggest issue was when the AC went out was 87 degrees inside and maintenance was not able to fix it. Had to sleep in a hot and humid home and could not open windows due to no screens. When they could not fix it they recommended for US to go buy a portable AC. This ruined our last evening and final breakfast in the home. Just a bad ending to the vacation. We know things happen, but when maintenance showed us the AC filter i can honestly say it may never have been changed. This makes us believe that the ac issue could have been avoided and the owner wasnt taking care of the property which also made me question the cleanliness of the home. May have appeared ok but really wasnt. Just gross! They did offer a small redund, but definitely not we thought was fair. They offered less then half a day. We thought one day was fair. We had to spend time to wait for maintenance and sleep in ahot humid house. We did not make our dinner that was planned and had to spend more to go out and throw out the food that was bought. Overall we had a good time. Just all that left a bad feeling and definetly wouldnt stay in this home again. Almost forgot. If you do choose to stay in the house, watch the stairs to the loft. They are alick. My husband slipped and feel down the stairs.

Family Vacation

We LOVED the beach house! Very cute and cozy. It has everything you need. Dishes and cookware, towels, extra bed linens and pillows, beach toys, beach chairs, shampoo/conditioner/body wash, washer and dryer. It slept 6 adults and 3 kids very comfortably. The location was perfect! Very short walk to the beach, maybe 25-30 steps. Things to know: the grill is gas ( bring a lighter), the coffee maker uses ground coffee (no k-pods, filters are supplied). Bring extra garbage bags. 2 bags are supplied as well and only 1 laundry pod. Great place to make some lasting memoriesā˜€ļøšŸŒŠšŸš Overallā­ļøā­ļøā­ļøā­ļøā­ļø

Property needs updated. I saw many reviews from years past saying the same thing. Looks like nothing was done after the owmer posted it was. Nails sticki g from the deck and railing. My friend hurt herself on a nail. Wirk on updates.

Spring break get away

The house is not terrible but certainly needs some love and attention. We could very much tell we were another number for a property management firm. There was no priority. We had to call for how to access the beach equipment. I also had to call for beach towels and waited 2 days for them. There was a number of cockroach visitors that we had to watch for which was very unsettling.

Very comfortable, clean, and fantastic location for a fly-in gymnastics' competition at Moody Gardens. Only suggestion would be to make bathroom and kitchen upgrades. Otherwise, we had a great time!

Quiet Getaway - Great Short Vacation

Was pleasantly surprised that the property listing and actual property were of the same quality. We stayed there for a couple of days at the end of December and it proved to be a great getaway for us. Clean property with minimal issues during stay. Would definitely look at coming back here again if they were pet friendly.
