Beachfront Home and Hot Tub with fantastic views!!

We had been renting homes for years in the Galveston area and always wanted one of our own! The minute I saw this home, I fell in love with it! This place was old and dilapidated, but sat on the most beautiful piece of land with a deep lot and it's own private beach… This was my dream home that could be torn apart and renovated to be exactly the way we wanted it! Our ideas and creativity could come alive through the art of renovation in this home - not only for our enjoyment and entertainment, but for yours as well!

Poppy's Place has a beautiful, front facing ocean view from almost every room in the entire house. In 2 of the 3 bedrooms, you literally see the ocean as soon as you open your eyes in the morning!
And there is a full view of the ocean from the living room and kitchen as well.

Our huge, custom made deck is half shaded and half open to the sun, which allows those who want to relax in the shade and those who want to bask in the sun to still be at the same place at the same time, enjoying each other's company! This deck has plenty of room for every guest AND for the hot tub!

The view from the deck is the best you could ever get! During stage 2 of our renovation of this home, we removed the wooden pickets and lattice siding and replaced those with wire siding that still keeps you and the children safe, yet allows you to have a virtually uninterrupted view of the dunes, beach, and ocean - regardless of how tall you are! We also added a couple of TALL deck chairs! Now, you can see over the railing to bask in the beauty of the beach AND when you are looking out from the living room, kitchen, or the 2 ocean view bedrooms, you will actually see the ocean rather than wooden boards and lattice! I promise you that the view is amazing!!

We have the new hot tub set on the sunny side of the deck, so you can enjoy peering at the moon and stars at night or enjoy the sun during the off seasons when it is a little bit cooler outside.

The master bathroom has an oversized shower for those who like to have the extra space. It also has a beautiful, extra long, freshly refinished claw foot bathtub that adds to the beauty and uniqueness of this home.
