Ebbing House - Oregon Beach Vacations

Welcome to Ebbing House, in south Lincoln City. With three bedrooms and three bathrooms, you and up to seven additional guests will have plenty of room to relax! You can even bring your favorite four legged friend for some beach time!

As you enter Ebbing, you'll find yourself on the second story of this beautiful oceanfront home. The deck is perfect for catching some sun while reading a book or enjoy expansive ocean views while soaking in the brand new hot tub.

The gas fireplace is perfect for chilly nights and the flat screen TV lets you enjoy a movie or some TV with your family after a long day exploring. The kitchen has everything you need to whip up a homemade meal and the open concept of the home allows interaction between the kitchen, dining area and living room so no one is left out of conversation.

There is a washer and dryer, so feel free to pack light. The first bedroom on second floor has a king size bed, flat screen TV and en suite bathroom, with a tub/shower combo. The second bedroom offers a queen size bed and a flat screen TV. There is an additional bathroom on this floor with a walk-in shower. Downstairs you'll find the third bedroom, with a queen size bed and attached bathroom with a walk-in shower. How about a rousing ping pong game or foosball match in the family game room also located on this floor.

While beachcombing in Lincoln City, search for hidden treasure, a hand blown glass float! Finders Keepers Float Fairies hide dozens of them each year, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled! The views from this high perch are incredible but there is no direct beach access here. Take a short walk or drive to the Taft District where you will find parking and beach access as well as access to Siletz Bay. The Taft District has a variety of restaurants, shops and a handful of glass blowing galleries so if you don't find a float on the beach, you can make one for yourself!

It was an excellent home. Space was plentiful. The king bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever experienced in a rental! I just wish there was a more direct path to the beach, because it sort of looked like it from the pictures. The public beach entrance wasn’t too far away though. Would definitely stay here again.

Out of all the outside lights only two worked, called to have the one on the garage fixed and they came out and took the bulb but never fixed it. And there is a homeless encampment not 15 ft off the front deck.When we arrived there was still spaghetti sauce on the dining table and dishwasher.The beds and couchs were like sitting and sleeping on concrete nothing comfortable

Million dollar view

Amazing outdoor space. Updated kitchen and primary bath. Beds could use an update. We were caught of guard by the third bedroom being in the unfinished basement portion of the house but thankfully could utilize the pull out couch instead.

We had a great time. I wish the beach access was a little closer but was easily within walking distance. The bed in the master was uncomfortable so I slept downstairs.

Nice place

A functional hot tub and a nice view was what we were looking for. Great place. We could tell that it’s a work in progress but it’s well put together and well appointed. We look forward to coming back later in the year. Could use some new beds though.

The only good thing about this house is the location. The house smelled so much like mold it was concerning. The kitchen floor is rotted and sinking and so is the side porch. The 3rd bedroom/bath is a make shift room in a very creepy and unfinished and moldy basement. Highly disappointed with this stay. The house should not be rented again until it passes a health inspection. It was one of the worst places that I have ever rented. Two thumbs down. Do not spend your money on this rental.

Great!

The house itself is great! Great location! There was a homeless camp just below the deck that was visible from the property. There was a large tarp and a tent. It was a little un nerving, having homeless people that close.

The deck and view were amazing. However, the house smelled musty/mildewy, especially in the basement. Bed uncomfortable. Homeless person right below the deck. Didn't feel particularly safe to go out alone. Seemed like some undesirable people congregated up the street. Glad to park in the garage, however, go down a steep flight of stairs, open the garage door, back out, close the garage door, back up the stairs, out the front door, down more stairs to get to the car. Never found the 3rd bedroom and bathroom. Was told it was in the basement but can't imagine anyone sleeping there because of the smell. We left a day early. Will not go back.

The main photo for listing is deceiving

Overall, this worked for us for a one night stay but my expectations were a bit higher after seeing the photo of the deck with the beautiful view, only to stand at the railing and see a homeless camp directly under us. It made us feel a bit unsafe especially since one of the bedrooms was in the downstairs area in an unfinished portion of the basement. The best parts of this property were the hot tub and the updated master shower. The TV in the living room didn’t work but others in the rooms did and the dryer took two whole cycles to dry a small load. I think if this was more updated without the unhoused so close by, we may consider staying again for a longer time.

Think there are better places to stay. 2 out of 3 beds horrible (master a lumpy, taco bed, 2nd bedroom like sleeping on a board), kitchen cabinets/counter have been updated but silverware and cookware hodge podge thrift store finds. Bring your own streaming service if you want to watch TV. No screens on any windows and it was hot our first day but couldn't sleep with them open due to bugs. Things need a deep cleaning. Only saving points were view from deck and hot tub and being pet friendly. Plus with all the fees you end up paying double what's advertised. Would re-consider if the above things were fixed but not until then.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, we had a great stay at this property. The view was great, and the amenities were as advertised. However, I found the beds too hard and the furniture in the living room was very uncomfortable. That being said, I would stay there again.

Amazing views

Loved the location. Hot tub was clean and hot. Can't beat the view from the deck and inside the house. Open floor plan perfect for family gathering. Ping pong was a blast. Realized third bedroom was on the lower level off the garage, far from the rest of the living space. Wouldn't put littles there but worked out for us (all adults). Wished we could open and close the garage from outside. All in all loved our stay and would use again.

Best View in Lincoln City!

The view from the balcony is absolutely breathtaking! We could see the ocean and the bay. I sat outside most of the time either on the large deck or in the hot tub. The house has retro charm. It was very clean and everything worked well. The hot tub worked perfectly! The house is very private on a large lot. We enjoyed the rec room on the really rainy days. We will definitely be back!

Beach vacation

A lot of stairs for older folks. One tripped on step to bsmt bdrm and hurt knee. Could be cleaner. Nice deck and view. Nice kitchen, bathroom and living area. No propane for bbq. No dishwasher soap or cleaning supplies. Had trouble with one of the burners on the range.
