The apartment spacious (170 m2), elegant and tastefully decorated, is located in the historical heart of Budapest, on the third floor of a beautiful building with elevator, and overlooking the Danube.

It enjoys an ideal location at the foot of the Liberty Bridge in front of the Gellért thermal baths and close to the covered market. It is ideal for a spa, cultural or musical stay with family or friends.

You can enjoy the small terrace to admire the view of the city, walk in a few minutes to the famous sights of Budapest (the covered market, the castle, the citadel or the basilica), enjoy the many restaurants and local bars.

Access to buses, subways and trams are immediately at the foot of the building and allow you to shine throughout the city.

It has all the essential amenities: central heating, excellent ventilation, a living room with a traditional ceramic stove, a multi-channel TV and WiFi access.

The living room opens onto a beautiful dining room that can accommodate 8 guests or more. The kitchen is equipped with all household appliances: hob, oven, dishwasher, microwave and Nespresso coffee machine.

The apartment offers 3 elegant and quiet rooms. Two with a King size bed and the third a Queen size bed. The master room has a private bathroom with shower, toilet and washing machine, while the very spacious family bathroom has a bath, toilet and bidet

Linen and towels are included in the rental price. A tourist tax will be payable locally. There is no reserved parking space on site, but you can park your car without any problem in the public (free) and private car parks not far from the apartment. It is forbidden to smoke in the apartment and stay with pets.

Lovely, spacious apartment! The host was extremely welcoming and helpful. It is close to several “must see” sights with groceries, restaurants and public transportation literally right outside the front door.

Beautiful place, great location!

We had a really wonderful stay here! It’s very true to the listing and you can sense the thoughtfulness and authenticity of the furnishings. Very spacious and really fantastic location as well. I was easily able to communicate with the apartment manager who was incredibly helpful too!

Amazing interior and superb location

This flat was incredible. It transported you to a different era with its opulent and charming decor, but was also so cozy and comfortable with all the modern conveniences. The location was unbeatable - one block from the river and just steps away from metro and trams.

Our dealings with the property manager were excellent- prompt responses, helpful info- very easy & pleasant process.Loved the location, close to everything. The property had 3 bedrooms, perfect for our needs. All in all a positive experience which I would recommend & would stay there again

Family trip to Budapest

Perfect location on the Buda (Better) side of Budapest. Very close to the Danube. Also super convenient access to public transit. An ideal spot for all things. Just across the street from the Gellért Spa. Apartment was very clean and stocked with all we needed. Hosts were very nice and communication was excellent. Highly recommend staying here.

The apartment is spacious and in a fantastic location. Very close to the river and transit making it very easy to move around the city. The host, Jean-Francois, and his manager, Gabor, were very responsive and helpful. Providing great information about the sites and restaurants. The only caveats are there are stairs up to and back down to the elevator location so this apartment may not be suitable for those with mobility issue. The apartment is older and a little tired in places but we did not find any of this to affect our great stay.

Our idea of a perfect apartment

We have just stayed here for a week. The apartment is large and beautifully appointed. Much of the original character of the property has been retained. It is very clean and well equipped. The location is ideal, with superb transport links and many interesting sights nearby. The owner was excellent at communicating quickly and was very pleasant to deal with. It was a pleasure to stay at his apartment. Lovely view of the Liberty bridge and Gellert baths from the balcony. Good local shops, wine bars and restaurants are all in easy reach. Thank you, I hope to stay again.

Prachtig, sfeervol appartement in Budapest

Superverblijf in een werkelijk prachtig sfeervol appartement! Kamers, badkamers en keuken volledig ingericht met alles wat je nodig hebt, allerlei voorzieningen in de buurt en openbaar vervoer voor de deur. Gastheer zeer attent en behulpzaam. Wij komen zeker terug!

Fremragende lejlighed i Budapest

Lejligheden er super. Der mangler intet i lejligheden og alt er velordnet, rent og pænt. Lejligheden er centralt beliggende lige ned til Donau, så man kan følge med i, hvad der sker på Donau m.m. Tæt på sporvogn, metro og indkøbsmuligheder. Vi vil bestemt vælge denne lejlighed, når vi besøger Budapest igen. Lejligheden er stor og højloftet og der er nemt plads til 8 voksne. Kvalitetsmæssigt meget flot lejlighed.

Dejlig stor lejlighed tæt på Frihedsbroen

Superfin modtagelse af Lili, hun viste os alt det nødvendige. Gode store rum, og dejligt med de to badeværelser. Vi gik rundt til alle attraktioner, men metro og bus er lige uden for døren. Der er både bager, butik og en lidt større Spar tæt på. Vi spiste to gange på Marcello, som har et lækkert udvalg af gode retter. Der er lidt støj fra gaden, men Budapest er jo også en stor by :-) Lejligheden kan helt klar anbefales.

Elegant quiet location

This is an elegant, old style apartment in a great location. Quiet area with handy grocery store, bakery and restaurants nearby. Trams leave from in front of building and Metro is 2 minute walk. Beautiful views of Danube. Jean Francois is a very helpful and accommodating host.

Like a palace! Spacious and lovely home across from Gellert Hotel.

This was a beautiful and spacious apartment in a great location in Budapest. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms...one of the bathrooms and one of the bedrooms is huge. Very comfortable for our group of six, 4 adults and 2 kids. Huge dining table, tons of space, beautifully decorated with lots of books. Across the bridge from the Market Hall with great transit options right outside your door. Check in was smooth and simple.

Common areas of the building are deceptive

The apartment was clean, but the common areas of the building literally have not been cleaned for decades. Extremely dirty and dusty. They have to keep the garbage cans in the entrance hallway, and the smell of garbage can be overwhelming for some.

Elegant flat in fantastic location

Truly enjoyed our stay in this flat. The apartment is grand with delightful antique furniture and lovely decor. We enjoyed coffee and pastries on the balcony. The bathrooms were large with everything needed. The master bedroom was also large. The bed is a little hard. Check in and check out was easy. We will stay again when next in Budapest

Fabulous!

The apartment was simply beautiful! We were greeting at the time agreed and given the tour of the apartment, instructions, keys. The apartment was in a perfect location, close to everything, parking was available close by with no parking fees. Public transportation was just a few steps away as well as restaurants and grocery places. The apartment was clean and fully equipped including cleaning supplies, hand soap, laundry and dishwasher soap, etc.. The owner Jean Francois communicated with us continuously and responded to all our inquiries quickly. His staff did the same during our stay. We could not have been happier! thank you!

Romantic aArtment

This a lovely apartment near the Gellért Hotel and Spa. The building itself is a bit tired; don’t be put off by first impressions. The actual unit is spacious, gracious and grand. The owner was very responsive and even arranged an excellent car service from the airport. There are grander neighborhoods than this. But this apartment is close the great market and a major transit hub. You can get anywhere from here.

Great rooms with loads of space. Ideal for a family. Ten mins walk from Budapest centre. Well worth a visit at a great price. Definitely value for money.
