The BLUE MARLIN is a beach house in the charming Gulf of Mexico beachside neighborhood of Mustang Royale. All 3 bedrooms have their own private ensuite bathrooms. It boasts ample outdoor sitting areas for relaxing.

This is an adorable, single-story cottage, perfect for a romantic get-away for a couple, a great fishing trip for friends, or an easy vacation or escape for a family or group of up to ten people. There are three cozy bedroom suites with private ensuite bathrooms. Two of the bedrooms (BR1) & (BR2) have queen size beds and the third (BR3) has two sets of twin over full bunk beds. Each bedroom has a tv and plenty of storage for your beach attire. There is a full kitchen with a Keurig, appliances and cookware to meet your culinary needs. The kitchen is open to the dining room which has seating for six. The stackable washer/dryer is neatly tucked into a closet off of the dining area. The living room has ample seating and a queen-size sleeper sofa, HD LCD TV/DVD player and a new Wii. There is a deck above the garage with a view, wrap-around decks with an outdoor shower (hot and cold water), a large covered front porch and a screened-in side porch. The pet-friendly backyard is fenced with a charcoal grill on the back patio.

Great house for a family getaway

My family spent 4 nights at this house in July 2023. The location is great, close to the beach and just far enough from the town. I would recommend this house and would love to stay in this same neighborhood again in the future.

Great vacation

We loved the house. It was perfect for our family of five. Loved that each bedroom had a bathroom attached to it. Very close to the beach! We had a blast!

Clean and comfortable house close to beach

House was perfect! Clean and comfortable, nice screened in patio and fenced in backyard for the dogs! Golf cart was perfect for 6 of us and close enough to beach we never had to drive the car. A few miles from downtown Port A where we could easily shop, eat and drink.

Very nice vacation

The house was nice, and clean. The neighborhood was nice, close to the beach. We didn’t have internet or tv the first two days and the pool was gross. Painters had gotten overspray all in the the pool water, so that was disappointing.

Our stay

The place was not the most clean. Rugs needed good vacuum and maybe wash. Had hair ( human hair ) on them. Otherwise house was cute And comfortable and had everything we needed!

70th birthday party

This house was perfect for my 70th birthday party. There are 3 bedrooms and each have their own bath. We walked to the beach several times each day. It is well stocked with towels, dishes, and pots and pans. Since it is off season, we practically had the neighborhood to our selves. The people we did meet were very friendly. It was really exactly what we need for our family and friends.

Exactly what we needed.

This property is exactly what we looked for. The best part of this place is that it's all one level. We have a dog that we wanted to hang out with in the house and that could also go outside to play without ever being leashed. This gave us a comfortable option for both. We also wanted a place that we didn't need to climb stairs. There's nothing like being able to come and go without climbing stairs! that's absolutely a plus. The kitchen was very well equipped. I wouldn't worry about not having enough cooking pots, bowls, plates, serving dishes, cutting knives, serving utensils, silverware. Honestly, they have it all. They also have plenty of throw blankets, quilts, pillows...everything to make you cozy. The outside patio is the best! That's where we spent most of our time. since it's screened in, you won't have to worry about bugs or any unwanted wind. the chairs and table are very comfortable. You may not see the ocean from the patio but you can hear it! It was great. You have easy access to the beach on foot or on a golf cart. The boardwalk is newer or very will kept and was great to have so close. My wishes for this place. 1) I wish we had more space for our stuff in the kitchen. We really didn't have a place to keep our food. We had to move dishes around to make space. I also knew we wouldn't use some things...like a keurig, but I didn't have any other place to store it. Some sort of shelving or extra cabinet would be nice to have. 2) A area rug in the living area would be nice. I know it's probably too much to keep something like that clean in between rentals, but with a dog, it's nice to sit on the floor with them. 3) I would also like to see timers on the bathroom fans. if you take a shower and need to leave, it's nice to leave the fan running to take the moisture out but not have it on for long periods of time. Overall, I loved the place. I thought the commons areas were spacious and comfortable. Full bathrooms in all bedrooms was a glorious option and the house had a great feel. Our next visit to Port Aransas will include this place as an option.

Great house close to the beach

This vacation rental has a lot of great amenities for a small group including children. It's very close to the beach, maybe 5 minutes walking (although if you have a lot of stuff either rent the golf carts or buy a parking permit and park on the beach, which is what we did). The house was very comfortable with plenty of pots/pans and utensils/cups etc. to meet our needs.

Would return / not my first choice

We enjoyed our stay at the property - we had two couples and three kids (ages 2-3) between us. I love the neighborhood this house is in - quick golf cart ride to the beach. It’s walkable too just far with little ones. The golf cart is really convenient. The house served its purpose - overall its a little dated / beach worn, but the layout and yard were nice. Not as “fully stocked” as many rentals we’ve stayed in - they had grilling tools and kitchen equipment, but be sure to bring your own beach gear, foil, ziplocks etc. I wish they also provided more dish towels / cleaning towels! (One of my major complains of most places we stay). Internet was spotty / slow - don’t plan to get work done, but for just a vacation it wasn’t an issue. The management company was very responsive & easy to work with. Overall we’d stay again just maybe not my first choice in the area.

Property was not the one I selected due to an issue with the house. The house we were put in was just as nice as what I had chosen. Very convenient to access to beach and community pool.

Charming beach home

This house was so cute and perfect for our family and dogs. We enjoyed everything about it and really took advantage of the screened in porch in the evenings. The neighborhood was quiet. Would recommend this home to anyone needing a great space to stay.

Updates

The house was nice. However, the house needs to be completely updated. I had problems with all the old TV’s daily, microwave blew a plug and was replaced with another. The beds are extremely old and very uncomfortable. However, we visited with lots of neighbors & really enjoyed them. Life in Paradise was very helpful.
